Description of Work: He prepared a landscape design for our front yard. He did it first in pencil and then in ink. He reviewed the entire design with us explaining the different plants he would use and why. We asked some questions. He made a few adjustments and then he gave us a couple of names of people who would actually do the job of planting, etc. | It went well. He was recommended to us by a friend who had also used him.

Description of Work: multiple attempts to contact this person went unanswered. tried again a month later and again non-responsive. I don't know if he is that busy but he could at least let people know that he is booked. If this is the way he communicates with potential customers I can only imagine what it might be like if you hired him. My guess is that he would start then pull the crew off to go work other jobs while your attempts to find out what was going on would just go unanswered. It does not matter if this guy is really good - The frustration of dealing with him is probably not worth it.

Description of Work: Andy was great to work with. Had lots of creative ideas and really brought the project to life with his drawings. The only caveat was that he was really busy at the time and that made it hard to get meetings scheduled. (Probably because he is so good). I would highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreOver the phone Andy explained how he works with clients. His fees were extremely reasonable, especially because of all the experience he has (15+ years). Andy came out to the house, on time, and listened to everything we wanted to incorporate around the entire house. Even our floundering with things we would like to include but not sure if they would fit our house style. Andy said he would have our plan drawn up in 3 weeks. 2 and weeks later Andy called to schedule a time to show us the plan. He came out the next day, on time, and showed us a beautiful drawing of what our house will look like once the work is finished. His plan includes all the hardscape, stone, planters, BBQ, pool and all the landscape including plants and trees. They are all beautiful and will look great in their new place in our yard. I was very impressed with Andy s explanation of the plants and how they will look. Andy did an excellent job, on time, and for a very reasonable price. He comes highly recommended.

He included all hardscape and landscape in incredible detail and had wonderful ideas to tie our house in with the landscape and hardscape.
