Went well as expected but was rather expensive in comparison to others but can't speak for the quality of other competitors. They were referred by friends.

A wonderful followup job, raked, vacuumed, sprayed, washed, rinsed, dried - hours were spent and it looks wonderful and dried quickly. A super job done by a skilled professional. The owner came to introduce and inspect. We were really well treated.

They cleaned the carpet and the stairs. They put out tarps to protect the tile floors. The wore protective booties and gave me some to use as the carpeting dried

Eric and his team were very helpful, friendly, and polite. I felt comfortable having them in my home. I would highly recommend them!

I called and scheduled the appointment. When they didn't show withing an hour I called the company. For some reason they didn't show me on their schedule. I was a little upset considering all the furniture had been moved out of the area, but the woman on the phone appologized for the mix-up and arranged for someone to come out that day at a later time, They arrived and completed the service well. the only difficulty was that since it became so late in the day that the carpet took a long time to dry.

The service person was punctual and did the job accordingly. I had a good experience with this company.

I cannot recommend Haines and Cross enough. They are complete professionals and knowledgeable about what they do. They are the best carpet cleaning company I have ever used.

Haines & Cross provided me with great service. I went online and read all of the reviews for service providers in my area. I selected Haines & Cross due to the over whelming amount of positive reviews. I especially noticed Jose name in the reviews and noticed they were an award winning service provider. Also, Jose (and his assistant Sal) were nice, professional and efficient.

Very nice workers. The task was just too much. I wish we had realized that the carpet was too badly stained.

Eric came and gave me an estimate for cleaning my carpet (white) and the upholstery on several chairs. His pricing is very reasonable. Eric and his entire staff, including Michelle at the office, are very professional and delightful to work with. One of several things that impressed me was how Mario and Roger placed protective covers at all corners of the walls so that the machinery cords would not mar the wall paint. This is the first time that I have used Haines and Cross, but it will certainly not be the last. My carpet and upholstery look and feel like new. Thank you, Eric, for your excellent service!

Zerorez Of Southern California are great because the guy before did the drycleaning with the foam and that kind of builds up in your carpet after a while. The Zerorez guys came in and got that all sucked out of our carpets so that was great. Yeah, they get the spots out and it looks good.

They told me about their Angie’s List discount and applied that to the service.

Overall it was a good job. I had called to ask what I had just purchased and they described their "reconditioning" process. It was my mistake in thinkig it would involve some sanding, but they clarified on the phone that their service did not include sanding. They came and did the job as described, very courteous and professional. My only disappointment is my wood floor had a glossy finish and the varathane finish they used was a light satin coat. The new coating was not enough to cover the more worn wood surfaces and remaining gloss on the original wood. I had called the owner and asked if Robert could come back and apply the heavier varathane coat for additional cost but was told the chemistry between the heavier varathane snd lighter finish was not compatible. To their credit they sent Robert back to apply a 2nd coat of the light varathane at no additional charge. The Owner called the next day to ask about the service and talked about my situation. He offered to come out at a later date and remove the light satin finish and apply the heavier varathane finish. He said he would give full credit for the service he's already delivered against the higher level service cost. i.e. The estimate for the heavier varathane for my floor would be about $600 but they would give me credit for the $199 already paid. I guess I needed a full floor refinishing which includes a sanding, maybe staining and then a varathane coating.

The technician was prompt and courteous. The work was completed in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the results. We have had our carpets cleaned by others, and this was the best job. The carpet was soft and stayed clean for a long time. It dried in a reasonable amount of time. We have scheduled them to come out again this month.

We appreciated the fine attention to details. This was the first time using this carpet cleaning company and they impressed. We will definitely consider using them again.

I was very impressed. He came on time, was very courteous and did a great job on my carpets. The only disappointment is that I had to ask him to move the coffee table to clean under and around it.

The first time I called was in regards to pricing. They ended up changing the price three times when they came to my house. They destroyed my floors, and actually lifted the color off the floor.

I've been using this carpet cleaning company since the late '80's. I wouldn't use any other company. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. Haines & Cross employees are courtesy, respectful and always go the extra mile to do an outstanding job. I am completely satisfied with their work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

The service experience was professional throughout. We did not need or want to have someone come out for an estimate and received a phone estimate based on the size of the pieces. The company confirmed the appointment the day before and the technician arrived on time. He went over each piece multiple times and the couches came out very clean, bright and smelling nice, but without any lingering chemical smell. He spent twice as much time here as our last technician from a large company. He took good care to protect other furniture and corners against hoses and equipment. We were very pleased with the result and the experience. While they are not the cheapest solution, we would definitely use Haines and Cross the next time. Note that the price included stain guard.

This was my first time using Angie's List. When I signed up over the phone, I asked the representative at Angie's if he could give me 3 companies to choose from that did wet shampooing of carpets. He sent me 3. I read the reviews on-line and decided to go with Haines & Cross. I called and spoke with the woman who answered the phone and told her what I needed. She told me that it was a $175 minimum and she was able to accommodate the date that I requested. That date was a week from my phone call. She said someone could come out between the window of 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. That was perfect for me. My husband was out-of-town which made for fewer people to need to walk on a wet carpet. That is why I chose that date. I also had a dinner date with a friend at 6 p.m. On the day they were due to arrive, I hadn't heard anything. It was 1:30 p.m., and I decided to call Haines & Cross to see if they had an estimate of when the worker(s) would arrive. She told me that I wasn't in the system. I said, "How can that be? I called and talked to someone who sounded just like you a week ago, etc." She said that we should hang up and she would check on it and give me a call back. When she called back, she said that she did, in fact, find me in the system, but that they hadn't "tagged" me, which I later found out meant my name wasn't put on the white board to assign a carpet cleaner to. She said she could have someone out between 4-6 p.m., which was upsetting because I had the dinner date. But, I didn't want to schedule another date due to the convenience of my husband being out of town. It turned out that a young man was sent whose name was Robert; he came at 3 p.m. He was excellent! He is the reason that I would use this company again. He was professional; he was a hard worker. He protected my floors and walls. He had a very high standard. He did an excellent job on the carpets and the ottomans. The woman in the office told him that he could give me a "10-15%" discount for my inconvenience which he did. Robert also had a special certification that he received from taking special carpet/upholstery cleaning classes. He was truly a cut above. Had I been rating Robert, I would have given an A for professionalism and punctuality, but because it was an overall rating, I had to give a lower grade. This might sound silly, but I was able to make my dinner date with my friend -- but just one hour late!

The two technicians who did the job were excellent,showed up on time were efficient and very nice. i would recommend this company!!
