Michael's Carpet

I am very impressed with every aspect of service we received from Michael?s Carpet. On our first visit, Dave educated us on the types of carpet available and helped us select a general category. He also explained that the price they quote per square yard is inclusive of pad and installation. Other stores show the price of the carpet only and conceal the other costs involved. I appreciated the up-front pricing and also the total lack of pressure to make a decision that day. On a second visit to make the final selection, Dave was again very helpful and low-key. He made no effort to up sell us to a more expensive carpet. Michael, the owner, came out to measure and write up the order. He was punctual, professional, and personable ? a pleasure to work with. He happily accommodated our request to schedule the tear out of the old carpet on a Monday and the installation of the new carpet on Thursday after painters had done their work. The installation guys ? Rudy?s crew ? did an exceptional job. They worked hard and took the time to do the job right. They were polite and pleasant. My new carpet downstairs looks great! My old carpet upstairs now looks horrible in comparison, but I know where to go next year when we?re ready to replace it. Michael?s Carpet and nowhere else!

Two installers did a professional job. They were very careful not to scuff the newly painted walls and trim. They were also very careful when moving some heavy furniture, Clean up was thorough and included vacuuming the carpet. We have previously used Michael's and would use them again.

From the moment we walked into the store until the carpet was installed, we were so pleased. Everyone was so nice and professional! The carpet looks great and when we move, we will use Michael's Carpet again. We needed the new install done quickly and they came through for us. A+

Mike came out from Michael's Carpet and gave us an estimate for new carpet in two rooms, including pad, labor and moving of our heavy furniture. We ordered the carpet and had some delay due to a problem with the manufacturing of the carpet. After a couple week delay, our carpet was installed. They did a great job on the installation and clean up and were in and out in about 5 hours. I would recommend Michael's Carpet if you are looking for new carpet.

I found Michael's on Angie's List and Yelp--and I'm so glad I did! Danny was the first one to help me out when I scouted the store a few weeks ago. I later brought my significant other with me and we picked out an in-stock medium grade carpet. Measurements happened on a Tuesday, installation on a Friday. They arrived at 9:15 and were done by 12. Really happy with their work and the carpet looks and feels great.

They were professional and they did a good job. The price could be a little better but overall it was a good experience.

They did a fantastic job.? Every time we look at the floors they are amazing.? We have had more compliments on these floors in our home.? It was a complicated job. ?We have a step down living room where we have had water problems in the past.? They put in a water barrier and then laid the hardwood on top of it.? We had one of the heaviest rain seasons the winter after the floors were put in.? We have had no problems with it whatsoever.? The installers were some of the best professionals with their workmanship that I have come across.? ?I intend to use them for carpeting in the near future.

The work they did worked out very well.? I don?t remember how much I spent on their services.? I would recommend them to my friends and family members.? Their service was very good.? I don?t remember how I found them because it was so long ago.? I will use them again in the future.

3 workers arrived promply at 9am.? They moved all furniture and were very courteous,? They removed old pad and carpet and disposed of it.? They completed job in one business day and I was very happy with results,

We wanted to give him our business, but needed someone to do both tile and carpet since we were under a tight schedule (they do not do tile).? In the future should we need carpet or hardwood floors, we will definitely consider this company.? The price was very competitive.

It was a wonderful experience.? We liked dealing directly with the owner when selecting the carpet (he also was the one who came out and measured).? The crew was polite, quick and professional.? They did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards.

Angle's List proved its worth again with this company as i was quoted almost 2/3 less than a recommended company in pasadena.even though a bit of a trek for me out to huntington beach to their showroom for samples, the whole install went really smoothly(in just over a day).very happy and would definitely use again.

My experience with Michael's Carpet was great.

The job went really well. They did a great job. They were very responsive when I asked for a price quote; they got back to me right away. They were able to schedule it right away. They came when they said they would. The person they sent was knowledgeable. It was great. I would work with them again for sure. Actually, it is hard to find somebody who can do small carpet jobs. They were all great. They did really good job in all the categories.

Went very well. Michael came out to the house to measure and give a price and time of installation. He is very informative and easy to work with. 4 guys came out and lifted old carpet and patched some cement cracking and moved heavier furniture. I took all breakable and small things out of the house and they moved all the heavy furniture. They worked from about 8:30 in the morning till about 8:30 at night. They worked great together, each doing a separate job to prepare for the other. Michael came by to check on everything to make sure it was going smoothly. He takes great pride in his company and his workers and completion of the job. Definitely would use again.

Very good. The guys at the shop were very nice and very helpful. I?m ultra color picky and they were able to direct me to exactly what i was looking for?even though i had no idea what to call it in carpet terms. Took the swatches home that night to confirm and they came and measured the next day. He estimated how long the carpet would take to arrive (about 5 biz days) and set an install date at the beginning of the week after next. (2 days after the estimated arrival of the carpet.) I got a call confirming the install date the day the carpet arrived. My only sticking point is that they didn?t confirm what time and had to call back the next day later and they initially weren?t very clear about the timing on the phone. On the day of the install, the installers were quick and cleaned up after themselves. I have a walk-in closet and i elected to have a seam utilized at the closet door to save on waste carpet. I?ve had the carpet for over a month now and i still can?t tell the seam is there. I also have build-in dressers with little feet sticking out and the install there looks great too. All and all nice, helpful sales guys, professional installers, quick turnaround and very well priced. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were fantastic. We wanted to put carpet in our great room, so our son could have more room to play on a soft flooring. They were so helpful in the selection of the carpet and really worked for us on what would be best for our needs. They were able to come out and install it within a week. The installers were so helpful and they were very meticulous on laying the carpet, as well as, cleaning up and prep. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.

The experience was excellent. He was a good teacher regarding carpet quality and cost. He let me bring home samples to pick the right carpet. His workers were on time, professional and provided good workmanship. Be very careful if you go to any of these big discount carpet warehouses. You may save money, but they can be shady, I learned the hard way.

After visiting the store in Huntington Beach, Michael came out and did the measuring for the quote. He was extremely professional, conscientious and enthusiastic about what he does. The price he gave was significantly lower than other quotes we obtained, and he included some special treatment for the stairs. His installation crew arrived exactly on time and spent a very long day doing the large install. We moved the more delicate furniture and electronics, but they moved everything else, and did so with care. Michael was planning on stopping by during the job, but was out of town, but followed up with a phone call to see if we were satisfied. We very much were.
