Description of Work: We needed a stand alone, tile shower rebuilt. We did not use Dave's Remodeling, but thought the contractor was thoroughly professional, timely, and knowledgable. The price was a little high, in our opinion.

Description of Work: Built a room divider wall with glass block inserts, installed a laminate floor, installed some salon equipment, painted, moulding, installed lighting and dimmers.

Description of Work: Dave came over to provide an estimate regarding my kitchen counters.

Description of Work: had popcorn texture removed from bedroom ceiling and ceing evened out.Carpet and floor removed and replaced with wood type floor. Drywall reinforced and cracks repaired. Den floor was relaced with wood type floor and numerous cracks and holes repaire to drywall.

Description of Work: He came on time and provided a remodeling plan and estimate that was very reasonable and inviting, but ultimately I felt I couldn't afford it at this time.

Description of Work: I bought a 1926 Spanish house and quickly needed a remodel of the bathroom, living room and basement. I was considering sub contracting all or part of the projects out and contacted multiple contractors for estimates and advice. I contacted Dave based on the reviews on Angie's list. Ultimately, I went with Dave for all three projects. I chose Dave because of his experience, professionalism and attention to detail.

Description of Work: We previously used Dave to gut our kitchen and turn a den with a fireplace into a master bedroom with bathroom. We also redid the floors in half the house. During that job Dave's men completely gutted the kitchen and insulated that half of the house. They also did a fair amount of drywalling in order to close up an open dining room that led to a den which the converted to a master bedroom complete with elk in closet and bathroom. In the kitchen, the cabinetry installed was custom and his team did a grat job. The cabinets were the noiseless closing kind. They included pullouts for garbage pails and pull out drawers for pots as well as glass cabinets for dinnerware to be showcased. They also installed all the appliances and we have had no issues with there installation. We installed a soapstone countertop and I was able to go with them to pick out the stone I wanted to use. We also put in new windows and new doors (in both the kitchen and new bedroom) and did an excellent job. Indeed they had to replace a sliding glass door to the backyard with a standard door. This required re-stuccoing and re-painting the outside of the house. In the master bedroom they had to replace a stone floor with a wood floor. They added baseboards in the process. The floors turned out great. In the closet his team built shelving and drawers that work excellently and look great. To create a master bath, they had to gut a fireplace and install all new plumbing ( which they also did in the kitchen because of the house's age). We had very nice tile installed in the bathroom and they did an excellent job. At the time I wanted the grout to match the light blue tile and they were unable to find the grout color. We used a pale gray instead and it looked great. With more time I believe I could have found the grout color or pushed them to do so, but I was on a timeline and the grey worked as well. The cabinetry in the bath was custom and turned out great. The kitchen and bathroom remodel was 3 years ago and when we decided to gut our other bathroom and install new floors on the rest of the house, we had Dave's team bid as well as a few others. His price point was right on, not significantly less than the others but enough and we had worked with him before. He now has his own company but uses some of the same folks as before and of course some new people. The floors turned out great. It was a little difficult because they needed to match the floors installed three years ago. They couldn't find a perfect match but got pretty close and blended in some of the new floor in old places intruder to make it appear to match, which it will more and more with wear and tear. The molding they installed also matches the rest of the house. With the second bathroom renovation, they had to install all new plumbing. The tile work was excellent as was the cabinetry work and painting. I should note that we installed heated floors in both bathrooms. They work great in the master bath and we are working on them to work correctly in the second bath. That is one of the things that is great about Dave - he is very responsive. I am very detail oriented and a tad nit-picky. I wanted some of the grouting and sealing to be straightened/darkened some and they did so to my satisfaction and promptly. The bathroom turned out great. I also had them replace a number of windows. The turned out great as well as the trim. They also replaced a long sliding mirrored door with two double doors in the closet and installed a closet system that I bought elsewhere to save on costs. The closet was carpeted and they replaced that with wood floors. They also sealed up a window in the closet. The closet turned out great. My only complaint was that it took forever for the closet doors to come in. Even still the project was completed substantially on time (only a week behind the expected completion date). We also had Dave send someone to finish hiding wiring related to TVs on our walls. The person he sent did a great job and did it quickly. Finally, Dave's team did a great deal of interior painting for us. The painting on walls, doors and trim turned out great. I wanted magnetic material installed under the paint, which they did, but it actually doesn't work well. That is my only disappointment with respect to the paint job. My suggestion for others who are going this route would be to test it out before the paint color is installed on top. I saw the coating installed and assumed it would work. Maybe it needed another coat or a different brand should have been used - not sure. They did use chalkboard paint and that has worked out well.

Description of Work: Started and finished ahead of schedual, Were always on time and cleaned up mess at the end of each day. Dave came back when all work was completed to check to see if all work was completed and if we were satisfied. If I ever need any other work done they will be the first cdmpany I call. They tore down the old Sunroom, put in a French drainage system(the old room was leaking under the walls) Put up a new sunroom,windows, door electrical outlets,ceiling light and woodenfloor(they were able to match the flooring in the rest of the house

Description of Work: We shopped around before deciding on this contractor for our kitchen restoration. After doing our research they provided a whole new kitchen that included upgrades from lighting to flooring. They are top notch and very professional. Great quality cabinets, granite, painting, and flooring. A pleasure to work with, from contractor to laborers. My husband supervisors a high rise that specializes in this type of work and he was truly impressed and commented to his crew on the professionalism and timeline of work from this company.

Description of Work: We converted our 600 square foot garage into a living space. Put up drywall, installed windows, built a wall and installed french doors and a window where the garage door had been. Installed ceiling fans, overhead lighting, painted the existing concrete floor. poured concrete in the back storage area.

Description of Work: Complete remodel of kitchen and two bathrooms, including new cabinets and floors, installation of HVAC system and removal of several window air conditioning units, removed wood paneling in family room and added sheetrock, added large built-in painted wood entertainment center and desk area/ cabinets in family room, removed vinyl siding on exterior of home and patched stucco underneath, completely repainted every surface in 3,000 square foot home, repainted exterior of home, refinished existing wood floors in dining and living room, added new carpeting in bedrooms and family rooms, installed new light fixtures throughout the inside and exterior of home, replaced several doors, added built in shelves to closets and new pantry, created walk-in closet out of previously unusable attic space, converted storage area into laundry room, replaced two windows, painted a few pieces of furniture, replaced electrical wires where needed, new electrical outlets throughout, new light switches installed throughout, retiled a bedroom fireplace, added baseboards throughout, and installed porch railings, new mailbox, house numbers and exterior shutters.

Description of Work: Another successful project completed by Dave's Remodeling, Inc- This is the fourth project I have completed with Dave's Remodeling and all have been done in a timely and excellent manner. The project at my residence was all outside and included: 1. Painting exterior of the house and pool house. Before painting the "prep" work was incredibly efficient and uncover various stucco and wood items that needed fixing. 2. Replacing and or "treating" wood in an outside gazebo.3. Installing new plywood all around eves of the house. 4. Replacing "water down" wood sidings around the front of the house. 5. Installing a new rough iron fence at the entrance of the patio. 6.Replacing 2 planters with red brick, including demolishing existing wall and building a new higher wall.7 Laying individual red brick to a large portion of existing patio covered by grass and finishing brick with a small block wall with it's appropriate foundation. The work was completed on time and on budget (with the exception of additional items which surfaced during construction but were priced later very fair). The crew working on the project came to work EVERYDAY and was very professional. The management review conducted by Dave was also very "hands on". With the exception of the iron gate, which was also aided by the crew foreman, the entire work was completed by the same crew. The project took 2 months to complete which was exactly the estimated time given to me by Dave at time of signing the contract.

Description of Work: 1st. Balcony was replaced on second floor bedroom. Removed old routed wood. Made deck waterproof and refurbished metal guard rail and paint everything. 2nd. Installed patio cover under Balcony. Cover is insulated and waterproof. Size 12X12ft.. Strong enough to withstand high winds.

Description of Work: The owner of Dave's Remodeling (David Telem) came out and gave me an estimate to paint the exterior of my house. I agreed with the estimate and work began the next day. Dave's Remodeling, Inc. painted the entire exterior of my house, including the patio. There was visible wood damage by the front door - Dave's crew removed and replace the entire wood overhang. Upon further review of my roof there was damage on the same section of the roof as the wood overhang. That area of the roof was removed and replaced as well. The crew also replace missing roof tiles that had been blown off. Dave's crew also replace the side door to my garage which was weather worn. The crew also made some repairs to the two wooden gates leading to the back yard. After the painting and repairs were completed- the crew also installed new metal flashing around the roof of the house. The crew worked steady (weather permitting) until the job was complete. I am very satisfied with the work that was done. I would definitely call Dave's Remodeling again. This company is reliable and professional.

Description of Work: We had a 11'x11' screened in patio with 2 36" french doors and 1 6' sliding glass door built (Florida room).

Description of Work: They removed my old sunroom, put in a drainage system, and then rebuilt the sunroom.

Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodeling, including new counter tops and cabinets, and installation of new appliances. Complete electrical and plumbing for remodeling. Removal of "pop-corn" ceilings with flat ceiling plaster. Installation of new water heater with shed. Paint house interior.

Description of Work: I hired Dave's Remodeling to update my kitchen. They removed the old countertop and installed a granite countertop along with a new sink and faucet. Additionally, they refinished my cabinets and installed new hinges and handles.

Description of Work: Complete kitchen , plus 2 adjoining rooms were gutted out and completely remodeled with new custom cabinets, counter tops, floors, lighting and new appliances installed. Wall removal and structural beam installed , in addition to a complete house rewiring.
