St. Jude Medical Center

Nurses very careless. My loved one had low blood pressure below 70 and they gave him two blood pressure lowering medications (two in the morning and one in the evening) but nurse did not call doctor. My loved one had bleed but they continued to give the blood thinner heparin which they started in the hospital unnecessarily for leg clot prevention. Their hospital doctors are also very careless and did not address any of the issues nor intervene. This resulted in my loved one's death in the hospital.

I would rate them A on all categories. I never been to such a quality place. They provide top notch medical care.

Dr. Vittner did a great job on my hand. I would say the office environment is top notch, professional and clean. I would say if you have an orthopedic issue with hand, wrist or elbow you should go to him.

Dr. Karich did a physical inspection of my complaint. He was susipisious of the rotator cuff diagnosis that referred me to him and ordered an MRI. It revealed a different issue, one that wasn't his specialty and he referred me to the correct Specialist. He has an upbeat personality which helps lighten the issue bringing you to him. Hopefully I never have an issue that requires his services, but if I do he would be the first Doctor I would call.

He treats me like I am his only patient. Even without his records, he knows who I am and knows my history; he is just personable. His assistant, Dr. Laura is excellent; she too knows my history without even looking it up. It is just excellent personalized service. I have another appointment coming up next week.

It is under Bluecross. The staff there is really pretty good; they do good work and they make sure to call a day before my appointment, they take care of all that and are pretty personable. Dr. Weissig is excellent; he definitely takes care of all the patients. He is very personable with me, provides good care, makes sure I understand what my medicines are for, and so forth. They are the best. I have another appointment in a month.

The staff is very friendly and punctual. Overall a very professional facility that is accessible and clean. The appointments are fast and I am done within 30 minutes.

My collar bone was broken in 2 places in 3 pieces. The doctor made a pretty good sized incision in my shoulder and opened me up and put all those stuff together with a plate and 12 screws in it. Everything seems to work. I had too much to drink and I fell down. I believe it took them about 2 hours to cut me and put me back together and set me to the recovery room.

They were good.

The nurses were absolutely the best. I was surprised to learn my third child's level of jaundice was so high and warranted a stay in the NICU. She stayed for 5 days and the nurses were tremendously comforting from the second we got there. They were extremely sympathetic, reassured us that she would receive the best car (which she did), and they were so sweet and thoughtful. They also have a camera that is viewable on line so you can see your baby online via a secure web site. They turn it off whenever the baby is feeding or having his/her diaper changed. I can't say enough about how the nurses went above and beyond my expectations.

The care I received from Dr. Karich was great as usual. He is caring, listens and explains everyting well.
I would highly recommend Dr. Karich!

The recovery and the follow up has been fabulous. Her care was very thurough. I would highly recomment her.

we found the careproviders punctual, kind, and very understanding. They showed up daily to help with my father's hygiene, take his vitals, administer his medication, and a list of diagnostics that the doctor needed to keep track of.
They helped arrange hospital beds, wheelchair, and oxygen services to be delivered to the house. We also got assigned a multi-lingual social worker.
Overall, I felt these people got their act together.

I really like my doctor a lot. They seem very thorough, professional and they answer all my questions. It is a clean hospital.

Very orderly process. Office staff and nurses were prompt, courteous and friendly.  Dr Lam was exactly on time for my appointment.  She took her time with me during my appointment and at no time did I feel rushed.  She made sure the staff got additional record request signatures for the few items missing from my chart.  Great overall experience !

I would not go anywhere else.

She was there about three days and received great care. They are professional, their amenities were really good there and even down to the cafeteria everything was top notch!

Very good. I did have to wait approx 20 minutes longer than my appointment time however as I said, Dr. Foley takes her time and does not rush patients. Her medical assistant and clerk are both very good. All medical information is computerized and available to needed specialists. This lessens the chance for mistakes. Also, all prescriptions are electronic. You can also access your medical information online with the St. Jude patient portal. Results of labs and visits are immediately available to you in addition to vital signs and other information. A great system.

It's the best possible hospital I have ever been to. I had a great experience with them. They are always fast. I would use them in the future.
