Matt Walsh Wood Floors

Matt and his team did a great job with refinishing our floors. While he was not the cheapest quote we had gotten, he was very fair and we felt comfortable going with him. Our floors weren’t easy to work with due to an iron oxide coating and very dark stain on top of that! They refinished them to the natural wood color and are very happy with the result. They worked hard to get our floors done in a week (a couple of days Matt even worked late)! Highly recommend!

Matt is no nonsense. He came in, did the estimate that fit my budget and promised me some bad spots could be treated back to new. He plans to put 3 coats of clear on top to protect from over the years scatches and stains spots. Job will be complete sand job to the wood and refinished brand new with protectant from further wear and tear.

EXCELANT RESULTS

Matt and his crew did an amazing job. They took our 15 year old scratched and yellowed engineered Kahrs maple floors and refinished them to a deep, rich reddish-brown custom color that was exactly what we were looking for. The floors look brand new. Matt and company did a superb job on a great room of approximately 900 square feet. They were neat and courteous, came all the way from Fallbrook to Ramona rain or shine, gave us clear directions on what we should and should not do and when we should put furniture and rugs back, etc. The end results are floors that look even better than we thought they could. Other contractors had warned us that maple was really tough to stain evenly, etc., and Matt admitted that but seemed confident that he could deliver a beautiful end product. Well, our only regret is that we didn't do this earlier as we were afraid we might not be happy with the outcome, but we are delighted. We couldn't recommend Matt Walsh more highly. He is competent and confident, both with good reason. We will refer him any and every chance we get!

Matt was quick and held true to his word..our wood floors came out amazing..all natural ...they were quick and got the job done in two days..will refer him to others and definately use him again in future projects.

It happens very rarely that a project comes out better than expected but this did.Matt was upfront about light baseboard touch up painting and time needed to complete job.I was amazed at how well the old floor refinished.Couldn't be more pleased especially considering the summertime heat and not being able to run a/c due to keeping surface dust/sawdust free.Thank you.

Very low price that matches quantity of finished product. Matt was Greta at working with me on my custom stain choice.that part is perfect. Very little in my home was protected from dust and stain. The finished on the flooring has many brush bristles in it and small paticles. You cannot see theses unless you are cleaning. Very nice man with an otherwise good work ethic.

Matt is the best at refinishing hardwood floors! Recently purchased a home built in 1948 and do not believe they have ever been refinished the floors. I really didn't think they could possibly look as good as they do. They look brand new! I highly recommend Matt Walsh.
