over all i was really pleased with him and his way of interacting with the customer. He is a great listener and really knew what i wanted with out me having to say.

The workers showed up on time and started in fixing the sprinklers, I went to my job and told Steve where I was leaving the garage door opener so they could get inside. When I returned at 2:00 in the afternoon, the two workers were sitting against the garage. They told me they had to stop because they couldn't get in. I showed them where the garage opener was and called Steve who admitted that he had forgotten to tell them. I was now worried that I would be charged for their time spent sitting around so I took an extra hour off of my job to unpack and assemble the new landscape lights. I told them where I wanted them placed and then returned to my job. When I came home that evening, the lights didn't work and they were not installed where I wanted them. Called Steve who said I had a broken electrical line somewhere. He also said that my final bill would be higher because of the extra time they spent testing. As disappointed as I was, I decided not to write a negative review because this may have been the only time they were unable to satisfy their client. Also Steve did come over that weekend to fix my lights - although they were still not placed where I wanted them to be.. The last straw was broken in late September when the pipe, which connected this replaced sprinkler valve, broke and flooded my garage. I hope I'm the only one who has had a bad experience with this company. Steve Dame really is a nice guy and sincerely wants to satisfy his clients.

I liked their services and they performed good work. They did what I asked them to do and they suggested a few more things. They did save me some money on my water bill. They installed a pressure regulator. They also installed some water saving sprinkler heads.

It went very good. The service was great!

After purchasing the deal I called and left messages at the phone number provided on multiple occasions. I never received a call back. The deal has since expired and I have never had contact with this company.

The process went very smoothly. Steve Dame visited my property (sprinkler inspection purchased via Angie's List "Big Deal") and made recommendations on how to improve my sprinkler system. I had tenants living on my property for the past 5 years and needed to make repairs. Steve provided a detailed recommendation verbally and then sent the quote via email. Once I received the quote I scheduled the repairs (to be completed about 3 weeks later). The technician who completed the work was prompt and professional. The digging and repairs took about 4 hours to complete. A few weeks after the repairs, I had a problem with one of the replaced sprinkler heads. I notified Steve Dame and the problem was repaired immediately. Terrific service!

He was very professional and took his time. He did a very thorough check of the property and watering system. He made recommendations and fixed what could be fixed without any added materials. I was very, very pleased. He was very efficient for one person as well. He also showed me a lot about how to operate the system which I didn't know. He was reasonably priced and very good in general.

We took advantage of an Angie's List offer to have the lawn irrigation system reviewed. Steve Dame, the owner, completed a very thorough review and made some recommendations. We asked for an estimate of the recommendations and he was able to provide that in writing within a day or two of the review. We decided to hire him to complete the work. The work was done as planned by his associate (sorry, name escapes us!). They were timely, complete, flexible, and extremely professional. We were not disappointed with the service and results at all and would recommend this company. Only thing, scheduling was a bit hard - Steve was so busy these last few months that it took a while to get on his calendar to complete the work.

.I picked Dame Landscape because of great reviews and an award winning company in 2011 from Angies List. Steve came to our house on July 30,2012. I told him that we just moved in to our new home a year ago and has been using the hose to water the plants. I asked him to set the automatic sprinkler on, provide good coverage for all the plants and fix the leak on one of the sprinkler heads. All the valves were shut off but it was still leaking. He took notes and gave me an estimate a few days later. I agreed to his price and thought he would do it soon but he said they could not do it until next month. Although I am getting tired of watering by hand, I was wiling to wait because I thought I was getting the best. They finally came on Sept. 7, 2012. They arrived at 9 A.M. and left early (3:30 P.M.) because they did not have the materials to finish the job. Two employees came back Monday and left around 2 P.M. to go to another job location. Before they left, one of them turned on the sprinkler system and I noticed that the coverage was poor and three rows of plants didn't even get any water at all. When I asked how it will get irrigated, I was told to use a hose to water the rest of the plants that was not covered. He asked me if I wanted the other Hunter controller that they took down which at the time is not being used at the moment for the grove. I didn't realized that they had cut off the wires and removed the controller for the grove which is supposed to be our next project. When I told Steve about the inefficient coverage and the loss of my grove controller, he sent me another estimate to complete the job. The estimate is $ 1,805.00 which included the cost of another Hunter controller to accomodate the grove. Since the job is incomplete, I expected them to return the next day but Steve apologized and scheduled me for Oct. 8, 2012. Again, I was willing to wait to get the job done but I injured my back and could not water the plants for two weeks. I was so upset, I cancelled the Oct.8 appointment and called another company who did an excellent job, willing to dig up the plants to install new pipes and have a 100% coverage. They also changed the leaking valve and installed another Hunter controller for the grove for a very reasonable price. One of the sprinkler heads that Dame Landscape installed was loose and came off due to water pressure and left a big crater on the slope. I don't know how long and how many gallons of water we lost. I am thinking of not renewing my membership due to this bad and expensive experience.

He is terrific. On time and within budget. Had good suggestions for the future

You could probably get someone to come and assess your sprinkler system, give you recommendations and a quote for free. Why spend the $50 on a Big Deal?

Taking advantage of a special offer, the service was to tune up my sprinkler system. Dave was prompt, engaging for what was found, offered suggestions that were totally reasonable, and did an excellent job adjusting the sprinklers.

They're very good. Fantastic service. I'm very familiar with this company. Steve Dame sent someone out and we walked the property which is a half acre. He was very, very thorough. He found two broken lines leading into the irrigation heads that were just draining water. Tree roots broke the underground irrigation line - You have to be really good to catch something like that. He was diligent about making sure that he checked every one the property. I would use them again.

Delivered what was promised, on schedule, at a fair price.

It started when I bought a sprinkler tune-up from Dame Landscape as a Angie's List Big Deal. Steve Dame came out and made some adjustments to the sprinklers and timer as per the Big Deal. We discussed how the coverage of the yard could be improved and especially how to regulate the water pressure in two areas. Steve sent a proposal and estimate which was very reasonable so we scheduled the job. Steve and Juan arrived on time. Steve reviewed what would be done and approximately how long it would take. During the morning, Steve had to leave so Juan completed the remainder of the work. Several times throughout the day Juan checked with me about the placement of the emitters and micro-sprayers in each of the gardens. He clearly explained the options for their placement. Juan was very agreeable to the adjustments that I requested to make the micro-sprayers less intrusive. He placed the sprayers so they blended into the landscaping. As he completed each section, we reviewed the sprinkler coverage to make sure all the plants were being watered. All the areas were they worked were cleaned up; not a speck of dirt was left where the trench was dug and the grass was replaced seamlessly. The experience was very positive. I'd definitely hire Dame Landscape again!

It was a very positive experience from start to finish. Steve is very professional, quick and knowledgeable. He really helped us get a better understanding of the area our lawn our irrigation options and what would work best and why. We are new to the area and he really held our hand. Our current system was not working at all and he was able to fix it for a great price. Not only would I use them again, I am planning on it!

The first time we used Dame was for the Angie's list sprinkler tune-up deal. We moved into a new house and really weren't sure how to use the irrigation system, so Steve showed me how, made some tweaks to get things working correctly, and mapped out the system. He showed us how our solenoids were going to need to be replaced, but that I should be able to do it myself for far less than what he would charge. I appreciated the honesty. So when one did finally go out, I tried to do it myself and started to question every step. I figured for at least this first one, I should get a professional. So I called Steve. He replaced the solenoid at a fair price. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. I will be using him for all the maintenance I can't handle on our system.

They were nice but said they didn't have the materials to repair any sprinkler heads. I thought that they would dig around the sprinklers, so they would all pop up nicely, adjust the directions, replace a broken flange if needed (maybe an extra cost for materials), and that when they left they would all be working great. That's what "tune-up" meant to me. about an hour of work; I have just a regular size front yard of a tract house, with regular pop-up sprinklers, nothing fancy

Steve and his crew were professional and thorough, converting our landscaped front yard to drip irrigation system. Steve was patient with me and my questions as to whether I really did need to make the change, and was willing to work with me to contain costs. As a home owner, I have worked with professional tradesmen of 40 years, and Dame Landscaping is at the top of my list.

He gave us an estimate for future sprinkler work which was fair and we may proceed with it in the future.

Steve is a knowledgable honest guy who can do the job.
