Description of Work: We had an appointment for them to make an estimate for us and they never showed. Never called. I called and left messages three times to find out what happened and reschedule and they never called back. Guess they don't need the business.

Description of Work: Added a 2nd layer of redwood fencing to a 70' length of existing fence to cover gaps and increase privacy. Top Rail was competitively priced, did excellent work and was able to expedite installation--- would definitely use again.

Though I selected another contractor, I have no doubt that Top Rail Fence would have done an excellent job. If you are looking for a fence contractor, give these guys a shot and ask them to send you some pictures of their work product.

+ -1 moreThe contact was very positive and I really liked that Jeff was very knowledgeable. We chose a different company only because they could be on the job sooner and they were about $500 cheaper.
Description of Work: I set up estimates with 4 fencing companies. Top Rail Fence Co. was one of 4. I set up the estimate date with Jeff. He was very polite and helpful. He also came out to do the estimate. He was on time, polite, professional and did all of the necessary measurements. Because our property was on a slope, he gave us some very good advise. He returned his estimate in a timely fashion, as I told him I needed it rather quickly. His rate was in the medium range.

+ -1 moreIn June, I contacted 7 top-rated Angie's List fencing companies for estimates. Top Rail was the only company that returned my call. Jeff's estimate was great, and we proceeded with the project. Jeff, Tim, and Jim were the only guys working on the project and completed everything within one day -amazing. We particularly like projects that are completed speedily as we have a pool, dog, and kids -all safety concerns with a fencing project. Things we like about our new fence: 1) Boards are nice and tight. No gaps creating privacy concerns.2) The gate latch they selected for us seems to be of good quality. The mechanism works very smoothly and the appearance is simple and clean lined. 3) Adding the top trim was worth the money (even on a tighter budget like ours). Overall, Jeff and Tim are likable, nice guys. They are professional and stand behind their work. We will hire them for another fencing project in a few months.
Description of Work: 65' of fencing and gate installed. The cost would have been aprox. $1300, but we opted for some special top trimming which bumped the price up $300.

+ -1 moreThey were wonderful. They were prompt, efficient and pleasant. They did a wonderful job and they did it quickly. It was a fence that was shared with neighbors and there were multiple quotes based on the product. What we paid for what we got was we think $23 a foot. The cost was split between three neighbors. We would grade them B for price; we always want everybody to be cheaper. We would use them again in the future if needed.
Description of Work: We used Top Rail Fence to install a wooden fence with metal posts.
