HOME DEPOT

Took over a month from day of order to get installation. Home Depot sells Tuff Shed but install is by a sub-contractor. Had an install date but never any phone call to confirm it. Day of install started calling Home Depot when they opened. Nobody qualified to help me, was given phone number of Tuff Shed rep for Elk Grove Home Depot who returned call but had no answer. Finally some guy called telling me he cut his finger day before and wanted to cancel install. Explained I took day off work as they did not do weekend installs. He and second guy finally showed up and put shed up. After they left I noted areas of trim not painted, back section with nails protruding, vent not screwed down, cutout around vent with jig saw screwup and little chunk missing but no big deal to them. Took days and many phone calls to Tuff Shed general office, Sacramento Tuff Shed office, calls to Home Depot and emails with pictures to all. Finally given appointment for correction of original defects. Guy who was supposed to arrive at 2:00 pm never showed, never called. Finally, his boss was able to get here at 7 pm. One of the things I do not understand is Home Depot carries lots of lumber yet several of the 2 x 4’s installed within shed were ragged with chunks missing. I know if I were picking out the lumber in the store I would have skipped over those inferior quality pieces incorporated in the shed.

They are all pretty helpful and usually have what we are looking for.

We use them more than Lowes, but the installation is a little pricey. We are considering having them install blinds. Sometimes you can?t get a hold of some one.

I wasn't home for the work. My daughter told me he didn't perform the job like he was supposed to and the part broke within a couple weeks. They include a warranty but they weren't willing to honor it.

It was $1500 for the door and for the install. They were great. They were friendly and they were professional. They let me know what was going on and what they were going to do. They were just nice guys. They did a good job.

Just as suspected

I think their pricing is good. They have a superior selection of stuff. They have a lot of different suppliers. They are really great for big projects. They have excellent facilities. I don't usually use the staff but when I do, they do help me. It seems like they are always open.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional. They came on time and on the dates. They worked very meticulously. Very quick work. They gave me the date it was going to start and completed and they were right on the money.

I found the customer service at Home Depot to be friendly and helpful. When the man came out to measure he gave us several misleading statements that later were proved incorrect. He told us we needed a retro fit door (we didn't) and the door cost $250 more. He told us if there was any rotted wood his company would replace it for extra, but when the workers arrived they told me if there was rotted wood we were on our own and would have to find someone else. When I questioned the worker about this, he told me it was direct from his boss, the guy who said they could replace wood. Luckily, there was no rotted wood and the workers were friendly and skilled and the door looks great. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up throughly.

Ordering the water heater was fine. We called Home Depot's toll-free water heater number (from their website), gave them our credit card number over the phone, and scheduled the appointment. They actually contract out for installation, and that part was fine, too, but we had to really fight to get a home improvement contract. The installers arrived on time with the permit, installed the water heater, tested it, and took away the old water heater. The whole process was very simple, and within a couple of weeks, the county inspector came and issued the final permit.

It went fine. She called me back and said the faceplate was ordered and would be delivered to my house. I received it about two weeks later and was going to have a handyman install it. However I took measurements and decided to carefully do the installation myself and it looks great. I am glad everything is finished.

The couple was very nice. The work was done by a crew of pick-up day laborers. They finished in a day. My problem with the work was that I considered it to be shoddy. A. The edges were not finished off in any way, just trimmed and left. When I questioned this, they trimmed the edges back a little more evenly, but said that's how it's always done. I said I had expected it to be capped like the rest of the roofs in the neighborhood. hey said Home Depot doesn't do that. B. They laid a 3 foot 2 x 4 along the side of the house, under the eaves, and glued it there. When I asked about that, they trimmed it back a little but left it. C. Some of the shingles are now buckling up and I think they will let in water next winter.

THESE GUYS CAME AND DID VERY NICE WORK ON OUR KITCHEN FLOOR. I LOVE THE WAY IT MAKES MY KITCHEN LOOK AND IT'S NICE AND EVEN. THEY DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

I THOUGHT THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THESE GUYS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET THIS JOB DONE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND HARD WORKERS. I'D RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYBODY, THEY'RE INEXPENSIVE AND DO A GREAT JOB.

I HAD THEM LAY ALL NEW WHITE CARPET THAT I HAD JUST BOUGHT FROM THEM. WHEN THEY CAME OUT AND DID THE INSTALLATION THE WORKERS GOT THE CARPET ALL DIRTY. I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY TO CLEAN THE CARPET EVEN THOUGH IT WAS BRAND NEW.

EXCELLENT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH, SALES ASSOCIATE WAS KNOWLEDGABLE IN ALL TYPES OF CARPET AND MADE SUGGESTIONS FOR A SUITABLE CARPET FOR MY NEEDS AND WANTS.

AFTER SHOPPING AROUND EXTENSIVELY, BOTH IN STORES AND ONLINE, MY HUSBAND AND I CONCLUDED THAT IN ORDER TO GET THE TYPE OF CABINET WE WANTED WITH THE FEATURES WE WANTED, WE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE IT CUSTOM MADE. WE WENT TO HOME DEPOT AND FOUND WHAT WE WANTED WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THEIR EMPLOYEE, LAURA SHERROD. LAURA ORDERED THE CABINET FOR US. IT WAS DELIVERED WITHIN THE PROMISED TIME FRAME, AND WAS JUST WHAT WE WANTED. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS IN THE CHECKOUT PROCEDURE. HOME DEPOT HAS CHANGED ITS CHECK OUT PROCESS TO ACCOMMODATE SELF SERVE CHECK OUT. IN THE PROCESS, THEY'VE TOTALLY SCREWED UP THE ENTIRE PROCESS. EVEN THEIR ASSISTED CHECKOUT IS A MESS. IT TOOK US 45 MINUTES TO CHECK OUT AND PAY FOR OUR ORDER. WE WERE SO DISGUSTED, WE ALMOST WALKED OUT WITHOUT IT. THE ONLY THING THAT STOPPED US WAS THE FACT THAT WE COULDN'T FIND WHAT WE WANTED ANYWHERE ELSE.

THE SERVICE WAS FAST. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. I REALLY ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE AS I UPGRADED MY HOME. I AM GLAD I CHOSE HOME DEPOT TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR MY HOME.

THIS IS SO EASY AND SIMPLE. I JUST WENT TO WORK AND WHEN I RETURNED MY FURNITURE WAS BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL LOCATION (AND I HAD BEAUTIFUL NEW CARPET INSTALLED).

I WENT INTO THE STORE AND THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE HELPED ME SELECT THE FLOORING I WANTED. IT WAS EASY. THE FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL. I AM GLAD I CHOSE HOME DEPOT.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE CABINETS WERE DAMAGED WHILE BEING UNLOADED. HOME DEPOT MADE GOOD WITH A PARTIAL REFUND; ORIGINALLY MEASURED INCORRECTLY. INSTALLATION WENT GREAT.
