This team was responsive, professional, polite. They worked so diligently to make sure that everything that was wet was either removed or dried. They were in and out of our house for 8 days never giving up. I cannot say enough good things about the team at Flood Med Restoration. If you are in need of water damage Restoration this is the company you want. They're fabulous!!
Description of Work: I received a call that I had a huge water break in my master bath. Massive flood clean-up was needed in master bedroom/bath. The plumber I have used for many years suggested Flood Med Restoration. They were here beginning the clean-up before I could even get home!

Not well. Did work on a house in escrow. Unfortunately, as a business owner myself and one who believes that customer service and integrity are the keys to success. I can not recommend flood Med as a company. They are non-responsive and seem more concerned about the next job rather then the current job. We had mold remediation done during escrow. They were chosen by the seller as we were the buyers. They put a tub in the bathroom that was not flush with the repairs too short. We had Glen come out twice to give estimates to finish the job. For our first scheduled appointment he called 1/2 hour before and said he could not make it, that he needed to reschedule as he was on other jobs and lost track of time. When he did come out we did touch base about how the job was done, and Glen had some great ideas, Glen recommended touching base with my wife and to let him know what exactly we wanted based on his input, he mentioned he had a difficult time with seller and did only what she wanted. When we decided what we would like, we called Glen out to get an estimate. We preferred to use Flood Med at that point for continuity and to assure all the work done prior was up to specs. After awhile we were able to get Glen back out to get an estimate. Glen expressed he would have estimate in a couple of days, after 3rd day we texted asking if he had sent estimate, he responded no would get to work on it right away. Was waiting for sub contractors responses. In the interim we had three other contractors over, for various other projects, they all voiced concerns about a musty smell in the bathroom that Flood Med remediated. After another four days, I texted Glen again asking for the estimate and expressing the concerns that other contractors noted. One item noted was black what appeared to be mold all over toilet? Maybe this is the smell. At the same time my Realator called the office, and left a message for the owner David and another call to Glen. Both went unanswered. The following day I called Glen, he asked what I wanted, I expressed an estimate:) he went on to tell me I should find another company to do the work. When I said I was surprised by this as I have been working with him for 3 weeks now and said we had some concerns about the smell, ( did you not receive my text exposing that?)noted by my family (2) eighty year old in-laws and a 14 yr. old daughter and contractors, and I wanted them to do the work to assure everything was safe for my family. , Glen responded we did a mold test we are done with those clear results. I reiterated can you please come out and double check. No if you have a smell it must be another incident. I expressed this bathroom has not been used as it is unfinished since you "Flood Med" performed the remediation. I mentioned you Flood Med should look to assure the work was done properly. He said they had no responsibility do to so and that because they had clean results they were not liable. I asked to you not warranty your work? Do I need an attorney involved. He expressed my attorney could call him. Upon this conversation my Realator left (2) more voice mails for the owner. As the objective for us was safety and an amicable relationship. It was amazing that as soon as we mentioned we had a concern, we were told to go with another company. Unfortunately the voicemails for the owner went unanswered yet again. This is for a Realator who was just inquiring and was looking out for the safety of her clients. After speaking with my counsel and Realator it was suggested to try reaching out one last time as all we were requesting at this point was verification that the smell is not mold related, especially being that what appeared to be mold was still visible. So I made one last attempt myself and called the office with the intent on speaking to the owner. A young lady named Jessica answered the phone. Appeared to be very nice:) after asking for the owner David Norman I was asked my address as soon as that was given I was told he was unavailable and if she could help. I went on and explained the situation and that I wanted them to originally finish the work as they were the ones that started it and I wanted to show loyalty. She thanked me for that. As I continued to explain the situation she seemed very attentive. As soon as I said there was still a smell emanating from the bathroom. The attitude of miss Jessica changed immediately. "Oh it sounds like you are not happy with us you should use another company" I expressed that was not the objective . She stated I will give the message to the owner, I said ok will he call back today as several messages went unanswered Jessica responded " I will give him the message, I can not make him call you back" " I need to go to a meeting " and then proceeded to hang up. I immediately called back and expressed I am doing everything in my power to avoid legal action and I just wanted communication and just wanted to know the family was safe. And when you hung up on me I felt this was not what was transpiring. Jessica then stated I hung up on her. She did not like my tone? And hung up on me again. We had a subsequent mold test done and the test did not pass and we are having to have another mold remediation company go over their work. (3) separate companies came out and noted the mold.
