Description of Work: Michael and crew removed grass, dirt and old plants. They redesigned sprinkler system, added recycled concrete base, decomposed granet, mulch and new drought tolerant plants. They were on time everyday and cleaned up daily. At first I thought they were a bit pricy, but they included so many unexpected extras (sprinkler work, mulch) that I ended up thinking I got a great deal.

Description of Work: MICHAEL , THE OWNER WAS A GREAT GUY....HIS BID TO REMOVE ALL THE BRICKS FROM OUR PATIO ,RE-LEVEL THE SAND BASE AND THEN PLACE THE BRICKS BACK IN PLACE, WAS 1/3 THE OTHER BIDS.....HE CAME ON TIME AND DID EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED OF THE JOB.....HE REMOVED ALL POTS (20) AND THE REPLACE THEM AND HOOKED UP THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM...HE DID THIS IN THE ACTUAL TIME HE BED AND HIS WORKERS WERE GREAT ALSO....DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMEND HIM AND WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN....BOB

+ -1 moreHe did an awesome job and did all the estimating for us, but we just couldn't afford it. It was a good deal and we were bummed that we couldn't go with him. We ended up doing a much cheaper version ourselves. He was professional and honest. He was excellent. He was fair and had a really strong network of people that could help out. He was a real friendly guy.

+ -1 moreFrom start to end, a superb job. Excellent and competitive pricing. Quality work according to plans with no surprises. Easy to work with owner (Michael) and his crew. Work was completed on time (allowing for weather) and within price. Additional work only recommended to add to the overall quality of the job. Pricing for additional work fair. Very responsive to changes and most done within scope and pricing of original estimation. Adjustments (fixes) to work in progress were made without tension and with quality results. DownUnder gave us the best estimate from four contractors and had excellent quotation paperwork. Good schedule of payments agreed upon based on progress of work. Highly recommend this contractor.
Description of Work: Patio and walkway pavers, retaining wall, stacked stone on retaining wall and pillers, drainage pipe installation, inside fireplace redo using natural stacked stone, concrete walkway, some plant landscaping.
