The tecnician was early, and called to let me know. Filter was not cleaned but whole ac/heat zone was turned off as the heating unit, which was working the way it was installed with a manual flame control valve on the gas, had flames that were to high. I recieved a call from the owner, telling me I should get a new unit after he looked up the model. However, the unit had a valve/nozzle, and control problem when new, that is why there was a new controller installed because it would not turn the flame or blower on, and would just click, and a manual gas valve to allow it to function.The original installer never offered to replace the new unit when they were doing the original installation, and considered it working and safe. Now I have no AC in that zone either, because he turned off everything, and I am going to have to have my original company come out to explain why there is a discrepancy, and to turn the system back on so I have AC this summer.

Great service! Truly grateful for the service they provided. I called GC Heating and Cooling on a Thursday afternoon and was able to schedule a consultation for that same day. Even better, they installed my A/C unit the exact same day! And the price was amazing. Other companies quoted me from $9000 to $6500 for the same service. GC Heating and Cooling charged me a third of the price! I look forward to a cool house this summer.

When Juan was complete with the work on Friday, my tenant said that the problem was still not cooling. Furthermore the AC was running constantly (wasnt shutting off but blowing cool air, not cold air). The tenant called on Saturday and talked with someone regarding the AC still not working. That person said he didnt have any knowledge of who was out there on Friday, although he did say he was out of the office; totally understandable. First thing on Monday I called GC. I talked with both Gustavo and Michael. Both had zero hesitation about going back out and looking at the problem. The Problem?? the fan was on, not the AC. I commend their company for being professional and courteous. They did not charge me for the additional call out on Monday, which I think most companies would have. Very Fair! Will definitely use their services again

Overall good service and company. Would have preferred more clarity of price. Advice is always get estimate in writing before work is started.

They came looked quick, didn't measure the room, told us we would need a 1 ton unit for a split A/C and would email me an estimate the next morning. He called later the same day he came and quoted prices for 2 and 3 ton units. When I told him the room size, he told me that I was incorrect! The price quoted over the phone was insanely high. And to top it off, I never received the email with the estimates! Extremely disappointed because this company had great reviews on Angie's List.

Gustavo and his team are second to none. I have had many qutoes for my AC system and these guys blew everyone out the water. Their service, professionalism and punctuality exceeded my expectations. We meet for a quite on May 1st, one day later I have my new AC ssytem installed and loving it. I will hold on to their Business card for a long time. Great guys, great service, to the point, no hassle no haggle. I could not have been more satisfied.

I purchased the Big Deal on a Weds night, and the system said the cotractor would contact me by Thursday. I was hoping to get the work done on Friday, since my A/C wasn't working well at all, blowing only slightly-cool air. I didn't hear from them on Thursday, but they did call on Friday morning, and were able to come the same day, so that worked out great for me. The technician, Juan, called in advance and arrived right on time. He did a thorough inspection of the system and replaced my clogged air filter with a spare I already had. He attached some gauges to the outside air conditioning unit, and determined that it was low on freon, so he recharged it with R-22 freon. He also showed me some original (12 year old) electrical components inside the electrical box that were old, and said that if it ever fails to start, it will likely be one of them (capacitor, relay). After the recharge, he measured the air temperature coming out of the vents, and it was nice and cold. My system is working fine again, and I'm very happy with the service. In addition to the $99 I had paid for the Big Deal, he charged me $75 for 1 pound of freon, which was a reaonable charge. Juan was knowledgable, professional, and polite, and there was no attempt to up-sell me or get me to buy equipment. It was a good experience, and I'd use them again.

The person came on time, inspected the furnace professionally. He could not find what was causing the squeal noise, but thought it might be from the motor waking up after hibernating the whole summer. He did not think there was any cause to be concerned. A month later, I had the gas company check again for the intermittent squeal, and he also could not find anything wrong.

Gustavo (the "G" in GH Heating...) and his whole crew are great. I originally planned to just have the heating portion done, then wait for summer to have the A/C installed, but I was so pleased with the heating installation that I had the whole job done now. The crew was prompt, courteous, and highly professional. They actually finished the heating installation (which required some fairly complex duct work) earlier than their estimate. Gustavo is very conscientious about his work, and has come by several times after the work was done for follow-up check-ups and minor adjustments...to make sure I was totally satisfied with the work. Since I was a complete novice to this sort of home upgrading, I was very pleased to find someone like Gustavo who was so helpful and concerned about my satisfaction. Not surprisingly, I would highly recommend GH Heating and Cooling to anyone.

Customer service was very friendly and called quickly after purchase to schedule. Technician arrived within time schedule, checked things out, then spoke with me to provide his findings. Learned my AC unit was in pretty good condition, but technician recommended a few things, including a cannister of ac coolant. He did not have with him, and said he would call back to schedule a time to come by, and to follow up on some other optional suggestions. Ment heard from them again. Also, the tech missed a drain line issue I had to point out.

Did not show on appointed day. I was called and appologised to before rescheduling. The tech was professional and confirmed what I had suspected. There was no follow up to my request for a new thermostat and I haven't heard from them again.

GC contacted me immediately and arranged for a date for the technician to perform the service. The technician arrived on time, cleaned the furnace (turned off overnight), turned on the furnace to make sure it worked correctly, and replaced the air filter. No upsell on other services, which was appreciated.

I purchased an Angie's List deal. Juan, check the unit and hooked up a duct that had come undone.

While it took a bit of time to connect with GC Heating and Cooling, once the connection was made, the service was excellent. Gustavo, the owner, came to our house, told us what was needed and then sent workers the following week to begin the replacement of our furnace and to add a cooling system to our house. The work was completed in a timely manner and the crew cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Gustavo and GC Heating and Cooling.

They were fine. I didn’t dislike anything about them. The work turned out good. I would have them over again if I needed them. You can contact them by e-mail and the scheduling was not a problem. I paid an additional charge for the repairs.

Brought the big deal for my AC/furnace tune up and thought the checkup will make my furnace ready for winter. First time I turned it on, it didn't work. Next, I called them, came out and said the lighting rod needs replacement. After paying $200 for fixing, it worked for a while. Now, the thermostat keeps turning off for no reason and no response from them after repeated phone calls.

They did the inspection. Suggested that we replaced a part that we replaced ourselves. They came out right after we purchased the deal. Just one employee did the inspection, cleaning and tune-up. My wife was home when he came out and she felt comfortable with he there.

Came out to check the a/c and heater which hadn't been serviced since we moved in a year ago. Setting up the appointment was easy and the technicians came out on time. Wasn't necessarily impressed nor disappointed by their work. It felt a bit like I was being upsold on a couple of thing, but nothing too crazy.

Their initial task was to perform an inspection of the air conditioning system which they did. They determined that the fan motor was defective and needed replacement (of which I was already aware). The two gentlemen quickly replaced it and checked out the system and the job was a complete success. The gentlemen that worked on my system were very courteous and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and did a great job.

The technician was very courteous and friendly. He resolved the problem, gave me quality information and I was very happy with the cost and the resolution. Unit is running just fine.

They spent quite some time in checking the temperature of the outflowing air. Their estimate for adding refrigerant showed a rather high price.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out okay. I purchased the big deal for a tune up, but the didn't do anything, and they had to come back and get another order to fix it. They were nice. They had to come out twice as what they had repaired didn't work the first time. I spent more than the amount on the big deal because of the repair. The first time they sent someone who didn't know what he was doing. I asked him some questions, and he said that he would have to send someone else to answer those.
