The service went very well. One technician came out and completed the job in a half hour. He was friendly and clean. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

John was very professional, he did everything in a timely and efficient manner. We ended up getting a second opinion and the prices were different(lower) for the things that he quoted me for but he did an amazing job, well above and beyond great service. I must of asked him a million and one questions which he answered while doing the inspections, but he took his time to explain to me everything in detail.

I was not happy with them. Two people came and they were quite nice, but I don’t know if they know the A/C system well or not. Basically for $ 39, I didn’t get anything. I have kids room and master bedroom. The A/C works well in my master bedroom, but in the kid’s room I don’t have anything. They said it was because of Freon. I said if we don’t have Freon, how come my master bedroom is very cold. They said, sometimes you have two A/C, but it was actually was one A/C. I said okay, just do it. So they put Freon and charged me about $100 for the Freon, but it didn’t work. Then they went to my attic and said the layout of the pipes were not very good and it’s taking too long, so by the time the air comes to your children’s room, it’s very weak. They said we need to cut the pipes although the room was not that far. I have a walk in closet in my master bedroom and right now, I don’t have A/C coming to the walk in closet because they had to cut the pipe. I said okay, I don’t need A/C in my walk in closet. If you can solve the problem in my daughter’s room, that would be fine, they said we need to charge you $200 for that. So they did it and the section they cut out was about 5 feet and I don’t understand how 5-feet can cause the problem. It also didn’t work, so they opened the opening of the A/C and apparently you have a switch in each room where you open the outlet, you basically push a switch and apparently the previous owner simply switched the switch off and basically that was the problem. They just pushed the switch and it worked. They were nice, but I don’t know if they specialize in A/C because if they were professionals, they should’ve known about the switch.

The representative was punctual, polite and efficient. He made recommendations for additional services but not in a pushy manner. He made repairs to address a concern I raised and showed me photos of the work (which was done in the attic). All was done in a timely manner and the additional charge (agreed to at the time) was reasonable.

They were nice, they came on time, they explained to me what was wrong, and he told me what he was going to do to fix it.

They weren’t timely getting back with me. Did make an appointment and he was unable to make it on time so we rescheduled & then they were going to be able to make it the next day as well so I cancelled the deal.

Technician was very professional and quick. Did everything he promised and I would use them again.

Called prior to arriving with an estimated time of arrival and arrived on time. He didn't indicate any cleaning or tuning was performed. Made some recommendations for sealing and ventilation. Was professional and courteous.

The technician performed the work advertised while I watched and recommended additional items that would make the a/c system work more efficiently which I purchased. I do not know if I got the best price for the items I purchased, but installation was included.

Pointed out the main issue but the cost of fixing it was ridiculously high. Ended up using our house's warranty to get the AC fixed for a fraction of the cost.

They said that they were unable to service my unit, and agreed to give a refund. The guy that came out was nice, at least.

Provider was on time; cleaned A/C unit as contracted; gave me a discount to check my heating unit. Very professional.

The workman found a problem with my furnace and suggested I replace it. The price he quoted was too high but Angie's List had a deal shortly thereafter so I had the furnace replaced by another company.

They were responsive on the timing and very honest.

It went very well. I will definitely use them again in the spring for my AC. They were on time and courteous.

The company was very communicative and the technician showed up on time. He was knowledgeable, performed the work quickly and professionally and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I would use them again.

Overall, I had a good experience with GC Heating and Cooling. I am will definitely use them to service my A/C and furnace in the future.

On-time, professional - did great job

It was fine. There was no additional cost on top of the big deal. It seemed to worked much better afterwards. My electric bill had gone through $60 a month so that's turned to $50 a month. The only thing that I can figure out was the air conditioning thing that was causing my issues shortly after my electric bill went right back down. Whatever he did, it worked well. They did a pretty good job.

Very professional. They showed up on time and completed within the 2 days originally promised. Even more impressive, they took care while installing the new ducts to minimize debris by holding a catcher under the areas they were drilling. Also, they did a good job cleaning up after each day's work.

GC called me first thing Monday morning after my weekend purchase. Had a truck at my house in just a few hours -- no small feat in Los Angeles! Juan was great -- serviced the furnace for a very large 102 year old home, and walked me through the process of what he was doing and what the results were as he went along, and put up with my 50 'what's that?' questions throughout the process. I would highly recommend GC's services.

It went great. I called them and the next day they were out here. They replaced everything all on one day on a Saturday. They were very quick and very neat. I would recommend them no doubt. I also like the fact that they were family owned.
