Response from Mr Fix-It Home Repair & Handyman
The work was done over two years ago, in 2009 I believe. I gave her written bids and she agreed. I did lay some flooring and other items she requested. I also did many other tasked that I did not charge for. An example was she was to have all the furniture out of the room. She did not, so my guys moved 4 rooms of furniture without a charge. I received a deposit from her and then when we were about 80 % completed I asked for another payment. This would have left about 40% of total bill to be paid when completed. At that time the Member became unreasonable and started complaining she wasn't happy. I then asked her what she wanted. She would not talk to me in person, only by e-mail. She gave me two options for me to choose from. She demanded that there would be no more choices or negotiations, that I must choose one of her demands. I agreed to one, that left a balance of about $2500.00. But I will always try my best to make customers happy. This is what she wanted and I agreed. I thought this made her happy, but I guess not, since she has posted a response for work that was clearly done two years ago. That time frame is never mentioned. I always want my customers to post reviews, good or bad. I can only give the best service, if I am made aware of how we are doing. I am puzzled by this one, since I did what she wanted and that it is such a late report.
