Description of Work: A handle on the pipe under the sink broke off from the water pressure. It was made of plastic instead of metal. Water was spraying everywhere and the main house water had to be shut off. It was 8:15 AM. Friday morning. A call was made to AHS (American Home Shield) and all plumbers were busy and not available until Wednesday, and it was to be over 100 degrees outside and my water to the house was off. A bad situation for a senior citizen. So we asked AHS if we could call a repairman we have previously used before and they said yes, so we call Mr. Fixit and his men were available. So they fixed the problem as quickly as possible. They got the copayment and were very professional about billing AHS for the repairs. Thank Mr. Fixit for helping me in my emergency. Will use you again.

Description of Work: Unfortunately I cannot rate this business very highly. I talked with the owner and made it very clear that I wanted painting done in my home during the 5 days that I would be out of town for a trip. The last thing that I expected when I returned home was for a painter to be working in my home using the light from an expensive lamp, which was now spattered with paint. Completion of the job required two additional days, and that was with my firm insistence. The quality of the paint job was mediocre...there was a lot of touch-up work that was not done.

Description of Work: They came out to quote the business. I never received one. I have called three times (7/22, 7/25, and 7/29)to confirm and discuss the quote. Three times I have been promised a return call from Mia. I have never been called back - neither from Jim nor Mia as a follow up. I like to have expectations managed - what I don't like is to be totally ignored.

Description of Work: Installed a new range, and replaced all the faucets in the house. Took about 4 hours. The worker was extremely professional and cleaned up everything after he was finished. You could not even tell anything had been done except having all new faucets and a new range.
