Air Duct Cleaning
$900
In the proposal for duct cleaning this company  said they would send three men to do the work because it was a big job.  Only one person was here during most of the day.  The supervisor was here during part of the day.  Even the morning of the work the supervisor said that another worker would be arriving later in the morning and that the supervisor would be there during most of the day to assist, so I went ahead with the work.  My mistake..  The one worker here for the entire day was nice, but the job was too big for one person and a few hours of the supervisor.
They did not have the proper equipment or time to clean up after the work.  I had to do the clean up with my own equipment.  More dirt was blown out of the vents after they left and I had to vacuum the entire house again.
Although the supervisor said that paint would chip off while removing vents,  some vent removal was performed poorly and in a hurry.
When I complained to the supervisor, he was rude.  Another supervisor called to ask my about my complaints to relay to the owner, but  the owner never called back.
I would not use this company again and I do not recommend them.

They were initially scheduled to come on Monday the 7th but they called Friday afternoon and asked to reschedule.   I rescheduled to the following Saturday because I could not ask for time off again.   They arrived on time and completed the cleaning.   They asked me to turn the heater off and I turned it down to 60 but he asked if he could unplug my gas heater while they were cleaning.  I said fine as long as they remembered to put it back.   When they finished I asked if they it was plugged back in (this was one of the coldest days of the year).so I just lett them know I did not want to be without heat.     He said it was.   After they left I turned the thermostat up but no heat was coming out of the vents.   I went back to the heater and it was plugged in but I realized the heater itself was not hot and figured the pilot light was out.  I did not know how to light it and they said they would be stopping for gas so I called the number on the receipt (2x-Icalled the number for the Tucson store and Sierra Vista store just hoping to speak with someone) and left messages asking if they could return and get it lit or if someone could  tell me how to do it.  That was Saturday, as of today (Thursday) I still have not recieved a return call.   (I had to ask a neighbor)    As far as the duct cleaning it was okay but I thought overpriced.  The service plan they give you has all of thier prices on it and I wish I had asked to see it prior to scheduling the service.   If you plan to use the company I would ask to see a copy of the service plan reciept with all of their services and prices listed.

Air Duct Cleaning
$1,700
It was a scam from the get go. Our contact Tony initially offered $500 back. That was not enough after incurring a $650 bill because of their machine. We asked to talk to the owner Michele Grondin-Ransom. Tony said "the owner would not be available to us." We have yet to talk 3 months later. Tony indicated the $500 offer is no longer an option because "they offered us other services" which we declined. After one of his workers confirmed what we already suspected, that the smell was not from the duct, we didn't want additional services. The duct cleaning didn't help in the slightest, and in the process our guest house was contaminated with an odor it didn't previously have, causing everything in the living room to have to be dry cleaned, & yet the perfume still lingers. We think Fresh Air is a Scam.

They were the most expensive but it sounded like they knew what they were doing at the time. They eventually got them clean but I had to have them come back 3 more times. The first time they had to come back because they didn't bring the right equipment. The second time, there was dust all around the equipment. The third time, was because there was dust all around the area they were supposed to have cleaned. The fourth time they came back, was because I changed the filter and found tons of stuff in the ducts. I called the manger to tell him and he swore at me over the phone when I told him that I found more uncompleted work. He always acted sort macho & surly. There was a manager here to supervisor the work but he didn't do anything but talk all his cell phone. They charged me extra to do the cooler vent but they never told me that would be extra at the beginning of the work. I would never use them again.
