AB and team were fast, efficient, friendly, and very professional when they fixed my concrete wall last week. The work was excellent and the cost was exactly what was estimated (and that was very reasonable). My mother said the mason was an artist, and I have to agree! Asael was very professional and informative. The workmen who installed my flagstone originally, did it incorrectly. His crew had to grind all the old grout out and replace some of the stones. The ones they replaced were done correctly, But, I will need Borja Unique Masonry monitor my flagstone. Hopefully, they were able to stop the deterioration.

I got several bids before deciding to hire Borja. I was impressed with AB's knowledge, professionalism and personality. His workers worked hard and got the job done before the estimated completion date. Two sections of our brick wall were leaning toward the alley. Once excavated, he showed us the problem and even took pictures for future reference. The final look is better than than the original wall. I would highly recommend him.

I had Borja Raise a Side of My Block wall by two rows. As someone who is a first time homeowner i have never gone through the process of hiring a company, Borja was there to answer all of my questions and walk me through the process. A few other companies i had called to look into either told me the Job was to small or would not raise an existing wall. Borja ensured me that they would be able to take care of needs, my big concern was that i have a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd who previously both loved to jump on the wall and i needed my addition to be sturdy. They explained to me the process they would take as far as Removing Exiting Layers Cleaning and reusing any material that could be used again and replacing what they could not. They added the necessary rebar applicably to ensure strength to the added rows. They were on time as well as finished the job within the time i was told to expect, as well as cleaned up after them selves as expected which i think they did a fine job leaving no debris behind for my dogs to get into. I asked a few friends I know in construction and they all gave me the thumbs up as far as what i paid for the job. Overall my Experience with this company was great and i will be recommending them to anyone who needs this type of work done.

They raised the height of a utility yard wall by four courses of adobe. By mixing new adobe bricks with some left over from the original wall they avoided an obvious (though slight) color contrast between the existing and new wall. The price was very competitive and they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards.

We wanted to have a retaining wall installed in our backyard because it is split level. I first went to a different company that I had used at my last house. However, that estimate could have been written on a 3x5 card because it lacked detail and really didn't seem serious. I found Borja Unique Masonry on HomeAdvisor and decided to reach out. Asael Borja met me at my house on a Saturday and we discussed the project. It would be roughly 115' linear feet of a 5' high retaining wall. Asael had some fantastic ideas including having the landings of the steps as 1.5 inch flagstone. While it took a few weeks to get the full estimate, I was floored by the level of detail included on the estimate. As a details person, I appreciated that level of detail. It let me know every charge (materials and labor). While the total estimate was just a bit less than the other estimate, it was the level of detail on the estimate that earned them the work. Now for their workers. What a hard working group of guys. I have all the respect in the world for them. They did a FANTASTIC job and we could not be happier. I absolutely recommend hiring Borja Unique Masonry for your next job.
