GOODFELLAZ FLOOR CARE

Ever since we bought our house 2 years ago we have trusted Angle's List to provide great guidance to quality businesses, and again we weren't let down when we found Brett with Goodfellaz Floor Care. On the initial phone call, Brett was let us know what the cost was, which was very reasonable. We originally were going to do 2 regular bedrooms, 1 master bedroom, and the hallway, steps, and very large loft/family room but after looking at the bedrooms we decided they could wait a few more months because of the light traffic wear. I tried to call Brett but I got his voice mail, which might sound like no big deal, but he stated on the recording that someone will return our call within 20 minutes. This to me showed that he cares about his customers, and in 5 minutes I had my call returned and the decrease in job size was no problem at all. Now to the important part. Brett was on time and very nice, while doing an initial walk through to verify what areas we want completed. He then told me an estimated time (less than 60 minutes) and he started. Brett took care in placing furniture so it wouldn't get damaged from the solution he uses and the water (foam pads were placed under couch legs to prevent finish from peeling). 50 minutes later he was done and he was honest with me about the spots he couldn't get up and the ones he could. To conclude as parents of a 4 year old we will have Brett on speed dial because of his abilities to efficiently clean our carpets. As parents we are also looking for ways to save money and for the service we got was a greater value then we could have gotten if we have completed this ourselves with machine rentals and over the counter carpet cleaning solutions. I apologize for the lengthy post but I appreciate all of the feedback I get from other members and I hope my review is a help to others!

This is the second time we have used Brett. We have used other carpet cleaners in the pass years but have not been satisfied. We tried him last year and were impressed with his attention to detail and professionalism. Brett is a true professional and we will continue to use him and highly recommend him.

I called Brett on the phone and described the job to him. I am required to clean the carpets in the house I am renting before moving out, so I needed three bedrooms, a living room and a dining room to be cleaned. This is the majority of the 1,300 sq ft house. After he quoted me a price, we made an appointment for him to show up. He called me shortly before arriving at the property so I could leave from work and meet him there. He was punctual, friendly and professional at all times. It took about 90 minutes to finish the job. When he was done, I looked around and was impressed. There were a few small spots in the high traffic areas that I was worried about, but the carpet looked fine after he was done. I will definitely call on this company again in the future for my carpet cleaning needs.

Showed up on time, completed the work fast, hassle free, used great corner protectors to protect our walls, didn't try to increase price even $1 in fact when he saw the work he reduced the price by $30 as it was less work than I had told him on the phone.....who does that? Polite, great job and everything very clean.

He’s always on-time and very efficient. He does a great job and I have no complaints. I find his prices to be reasonable.

Brett did an excellent job. Arrived on time, stated work would take 2 hours and finished on time. He took time to vacuum all rooms before cleaning.

I would absolutely recommend Brett and Goodfellas to anyone... in fact, I already have. Professional and personable, you should have him come over to your house and have your carpets cleaned now or next weekend if that works better for you. We had our house cleaned because we were moving to California and wanted to give it a professional clean before we had our first renters move in. Brett did a great job and even patiently waited while we returned from running some errands.

Brett did a great job and even agreed to do the work on Sunday which helped me out a lot. He was able to get out some stains that I thought were going to be impossible. I would hire him again.

Brett has been cleaning my carpets since August 2010 and I get my carpets cleaned at least three times a year. He's awesome.

He was very professional and even dropped off spot spot remover the next day. My concerns were that he quoted me 240$ on the phone and never addressed square footage when he arrived. I had to request that we move sofa and love seat and shampoo under there are well.

Overall Brett did a great job. He cleaned a total of 8 rooms, the hallway and the stairs. The work was preformed with in the time frame that he gave at the time of scheduling. He was extremely considerate and flexible with the other work that was taking place at our home. I highly recommend him for any future floor cleaning that needs to be done.

They were outstanding. It was a very nice young man. He was very cordial and punctual. The service was good.

Brett cleaned the carpet in a rental house I own, along with some white carpeting in two bedrooms in my house and some upholstered furniture. In 8 years nobody had ever been able to get that white carpet clean and now it looks like it's new. He successfully cleaned dog drool stains off an upholstered chair as well, and those have been there for close to 12 years. Brett did such a good job that I asked him to come back and clean all my tile floors, and not surprisingly he did a great job with those as well. Brett is knowledgeable and professional, and his prices are excellent. I'd hire him back anytime and would recommend him to anyone!

Brett arrived right on time and presented himself in a courteous, professional manner. I am very pleased with the overall job that he did, which included removing the soil from some high-traffic areas that our previous carpet cleaner had missed. I definitely will call Brett / Goodfellaz again!

Brett was great, again. He showed up on time, and he cleaned my disgusting, dog-slobbered couches perfectly. My house was a wreck from preparing to move, and it was full of people doing various types of work on the house. Brett easily worked around everyone. The service was quick and thorough. I have already asked him to do another carpet cleaning for me.

Our hot water heater, located in our garage, broke and leaked through the wall into our guest bedroom, soaking the carpet. We called Brett at Goodfellaz based on the good reviews on Angie's List to see what could be done. He came out to assess the situation and was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. The damage was not as severe as it could have been and we were able to save the carpet which had been newly laid. Brett removed the carpet pad, sprayed antimicrobial to prevent any mold growth, and cleaned the carpet. He wanted to wait a week to see if there was any lingering smell which there was not. He came back, put new carpet padding down and secured the carpet. He also seemlessly removed the bedroom furniture back and forth and everything was left the way it looked before the work was started. Would definitely use this company again.

We have used several carpet cleaners in the past and have never been completel satisfied. This time I decided to use Angies List and selected Goodfellas Carpet Cleaning. We were not disappointed. Brett is fast, courteous and knowledgeable.

Brett was extremely professional. He had given me an estimate of $170 for the all the downstairs rooms in our house, except one, the hallway, and the the stairs. When he arrived, I told him I had decided to do the other room as well. He looked around and told me that the estimate he had originally given me is still the price. When he had quoted me over the phone the week before, he counted our front living room, that has an area in the back for a dining room as two separate rooms. He said that the room wasn't as big as he had imagined, so the estimate for cleaning our carpets wouldn't change, even though I added a bedroom. He could have added to my estimate for the other room and I wouldn't have blinked an eye. His integrity and honest practice showed brightly that day. We will be hiring him again.

The cleaning started on time and was completed faster than expected. The carpets and couch had many old pet urine stains as well as food stains throughout the house. He was even able to largely remove blue ink stains from the stairway that had resulted from a dog chewing up a pen. The tenants that lived there had done a fairly poor job removing items from the carpeting so he also helped to pick up items before getting started. He returned a couple of weeks later, for free, to apply a second dose of deoderizer and clean some areas again to ensure that the pet odors and stains were removed. I'll definitely be using Goodfellaz again!

Brett is a very nice engaging young man and we would certainly recommend him to family and friends. He gave us a fair price over the phone and charged us exactly what he quoted. We asked him opinion on cleaning other surfaces and he was honest and told us that we did not need additional services. He could have but he didn't. Very honest and trustworthy.

After reading many reviews, I called several companies. Many were shady with their pricing, adding dollars for each" service" I wanted. When I called Goodfellaz, he estimated a price, talked to me about my pet stain issues, and set a date to come clean the carpets. He arrived exactly at 2:00p.m. (I think the window he gave me was 2-3p.m.) He did everything just like I had read in other reviews: power vacuum, thorough cleaning, and inspecting together before he finished. Before he started, I had asked him about the arm of our sofa, which was heavily spotted, and when he finished the carpets, he went ahead and cleaned that arm without additional charge. His fee was actually eleven dollars cheaper than his estimate. I would definitely use him again.

Bret arrived on time, set up equipment quickly and went to work. Noise was minimal. He finished in just 1 1/2 hours and all furniture was cleaned of any stains and even dog hair (!). He quickly put furniture back into place, explained to me about the drying time required which was minimal and moved his equipment out with no disruption to our household.
