My Computer Works

My husband and I have used MCW for several year and have always been extremely pleased with everyone who had helped us. We would recommend them as a technical service for your computers.

I was all set to give My Computer Works 5 stars. Josh, in sales was very professional when I called to place my first order, and their technician Walt did an excellent job in responding to all my computer issues. However, customer service failed miserably when I had a problem with my second order. My second order was for work on my laptop the next day after 8 am. My credit card was debited when I placed the order. The next morning I received an email that the tech would not be available until after 3 pm which was unacceptable and, by return email, canceled the order. I had used a $97 Angie’s List coupon to pay for the service and assumed I would receive a full credit. When that didn’t happen after 3 days I called customer service to ask why? I couldn’t get a live person to talk to and my numerous voicemails went unanswered for 5 days. Finally I received an email that my credit card would only be credited only $72.75 with the $24.75 balance going to Angie’s List. My email asking who I could contact at Angie’s List for a refund has never been answered. Couldn’t talk to a live person in customer service to resolve a problem. No where on the MyComputer Works website or the Angie’s list coupon did it state that orders were subject to a cancellation charge. Since MyComputerWorks never responded to my request for an Angie’s List contact, I wonder if my refund actually went elsewhere. In summary, not acceptable.

They fixed the problem remotely and cleaned up all my viruses and malware as well. It was very thorough and professionally done.

Very well. The technician took control of my computer and spent almost 3 hours getting rid of old clutter and checking performance.

I have used My Computer Works for years. They are the best value and service. Couldn’t be without them.

The morning (Sunday!) I called the number listed on the Angie's List site, they understood what was going on, and put someone on the job fairly soon. The hackers had covered their tracks well, so the problems were very hard to diagnose. Ultimately the work took the rest of the day and half of the next day, but the tech experts never gave up. So far as I can tell, all the problems caused by the hacker have been solved. After that, they kept asking for more problems as part of their overall service, and every time they were able to solve the extra problems.

The tech came within a day and found that the hard drive had failed. I then purchased a new computer.

I've been a Computer Works subscriber for 3+ years. As a small business owner I cannot afford lengthy computer downtime. I am glad to have access to computer repair (a phone call away) on my schedule and the confidence that my problem will be resolved in a short time! My peace of mind is worth the price!

Always Excellent. Techs are knowledgeable & patient. Tenacious. Will continue until problem is resolved. Great customer service. A great organization to help with smartcell problems.

Everything I had wrong has been corrected and it is great not to have a slow PC anymore!

It went very well even though my mac desktop was a refurbished one it was somewhat difficult to fix the problem since the computer was 8 years old. I liked the way they treated me very understanding and patient which I thought was amazing and the attires were pleasant I would definitely give them a Apluse 100 times

My initial contact at MCW was very professional and friendly. She explained the next steps, recommended a product to install following the system review and placed me in the queue for a technician to contact me that day. MCW provides a link to let you know where you are in the queue. The technician who contacted me was very professional and courteous. He accessed my system remotely, performed the system review and installed the anti-malware program. I was very happy with his work and would use MCW again.
