It went extremely well. Prompt. Very professional and very knowledgeable.

Called Allan (who I have used before) and made an appoint for two days in the future. As is always the case, Allan showed up on the scheduled time and did his usual excellent job. In a half hours time, he had the entire system correctly and properly adjusted and tuned up. As is usual for Allan, his work is fast, accurate, professional and pleasurable. He is a delight to do business with. I highly recommend him to anyone needing his services. I am a repeat customer having used him on several occasions, and I am sure I will use him again in the future.

Alan just did a great job. He came in and checked each piece of equipment to make sure that it worked properly, including the speakers. He then put everything together including the cables and both sets of speakers. He asked how we wanted it to work rather than telling us how it could work. He tested everything out and than showed us it was working properly. Lastly (and most importantly) he wrote detailed instructions to make sure that we would be able to use the equipment in its various modes. The instructions proved to be correct and we were able to duplicate the various workings of the equipement.

neAlan scheduled a visit, after our plea for help; arrived on time, took the time to explain what he was doing, adjusted the complex Denon AVR, which the owner had tried to adjust for three years - unsuccessfully, charged us a reasonable price, and was available for follow-up, which was done. Great guy, very friendly and patient, professional, and trustworthy.

My initial call was soon returned, and Alan and I made an appointment for him to hook up my electronics. He arrived on time, took one look at what he had to work with, and assured me that hooking everything up would be no problem. He had everything working in short order, and showed me how to control all my components using just the TV?s remote control. He told me to call him if I had any questions or problems. I would definitely hire him again.

This was some of the best customer service experience I have ever had. Alan Brown's would respond to emails promptly, I even emailed him on a Saturday night at 9PM after the work was already done and within 15 minutes he responded to me. He did excellent work when he came out, and his cost was far below other bids I received for the same work! If you are looking for someone to do your audio sound I would highly recommend him!

It went very quickly. Alan works to get the job done as fast and efficiently as possible. I had used him two years ago for some video work with several TV sets. I have recommended Alan to about a half a dozen friends with A/V needs and they like his services as much as I do. He is highly rated on Angie's List for a reason. He is really, really good at his work and he is a most pleasant person also.

It's like a broken record with Alan and The Hookup . . . he's ALWAYS on time, pleasant and professional and always does a excellent job of handling any problem I may have. Alan of The Hook Up politely called to say he could come earlier than scheduled if it would work for me. He is the 4th person to attempt to set up my Logitech RF universal remote system. He is the only one that has accomplished it. Prior to him arriving I was not able to even operate my TV with my remote. Along with adding the TV, he also added my CD player, radio stations, Pandora, etc. to the system that I did not have before. He was very professional, very polite and a very patient instructor as he guided me each step of the way on how to use the system. I have already recommended him to a friend that is having issues with her sound system. It was a very pleasant experience! I would highly recommend him without reservation.

We needed further help and when we called him he was quick to offer to come back out @ no/charge which he did. We have to admit we were glad we had invested in belonging to Angies' List as we had no idea who to call and were very concerned about ending up calling someonewho had no idea how to help us and would charge us like they did!!!

We needed someone that could get our DVD/CD player so we could listen to Christmas music. Alan was out in a couple of days and figured out the mess that the last person,who tried to work on it had made. He was very knowledgeable and able to figure out the system with the mess that was in back of the system in a very short time and had it working better than ever. He is very good at explaining things so even I could understand.

Alan arrived on time and spent the next 3 hours setting up the home entertainment center. he did an outstanding job of hooking the entire system and was very patient explaining the new remote to my wife and i. Two days after the installation we decided we would like a zoom tab on the remote and he was able to ad it from his home and didnt have to come out again. He said we could call anytime we had problems. So far all is fantastic. Tv and setupis running great.

I couldn't be more pleased with the services provided by Alan Brown and The Hook Up. They are always on time (no "window" of "...we'll be there between 9 am and 4 pm . ."), courteous, professional, competent and willing to take a little more time to make sure that things are done correctly. I've used the services of The Hook Up for several years and wouldn't think of calling someone else when I have a problem with my home theatre setup. The Hook Up is simply the best for both service and price. And if I need a new component for my system, I call Alan Brown at The Hook Up for advice and his ability to find the component I need at the best price.

Alan was available the day after I phoned to inquire about services. Showed up on time and developed a logical approach for identifying the culprit in my system. Found offending speaker, took to qualified speaker repair shop that identified a blown tweeter. I simply replaced with new center channel speaker myself, but in the process of me hooking it up, other parts of my system went out (geesh). Alan came back, solved those issues and got everything rolling. He's the owners. He's knowledgeable, timely, friendly and fair.

I purchased an existing home in North Scottsdale. The home was delivered to me with both a high level of audio and video in most all rooms. However, as a new owner I was faced with a number of cables, and wires, along with numerous remotes that had lost their programming. Alan Brown the owner answered the phone call. We arranged a time and date for him to resolve all the problems. He was prompt, expert, and resolved all each and every problem in short order. I would highly recommend him and do plan on using him as my regular "go to" audio and video service. Easy to work with also and his pricing is fair. Highly recommended.

I found Mark on Angies List and sent his information to our property managers who care for our out of town vacation rental home. They took care of arranging the install, working with Mark and said they were very pleased and said he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

We had him come over to hook up our new DVR. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgable!He is a master with universal remotes and was able to re-hook speakers that hadn't worked for a year or more.I called him the next day as I had forgotten how to do something with the rremote and he called me back within a couple of hours-wonderful customer servie.I would highly recommend Allen to anyone needing assistance with stereo or TV equipment!!
