Description of Work: Masterscapes re-landscaped our front yard a few years ago & we had them redo our back yard too. They removed several hundred square footage of bricks & replaced it with patio savers, added multi level flower beds around pool area, redid our pond & waterfall, built concrete ring around tree & LED accent lighting around the whole yard. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, punctual and went out of their to make sure we were happy. Would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We asked them to trim and deep fertilize our trees, to diagnose some trees that were struggling, and ultimately to replace them. They were courteous, knowledgeable, did good work, were on time, and did good work.

Description of Work: The provider arrived 1 hour early. Didn't think he was hearing what we wanted. Seemed like he was more worried about making money than providing a great service. In fact, he kept saying "time is money." Told us he wasn't within our budget to do the things we wanted. Gave us a high quote. We found someone to do the work for less than half. He was also rude. He kept calling me "mom" instead of my first name.

Description of Work: Never responded to request for bid. Went from very satisfied customer to source of negative word of mouth as a result.

Description of Work: This company came out promptly, listened to what we needed and drew up plans. Price was good but ran into a few snags so we never had them do the work. One thing that upset us (the following month) was our drip system was left on by them and our water bill was double the next month. Minor but was a waste of water.

Description of Work: plant trees and lay pavers

Description of Work: Most professional landscaper I have ever had work for me. Installed landscape lighting in front and back yards, installed a brick paver walkway from the front yard to the back patio, installed brick stepping stone walkway in front yard, and performed landscaping contouring. Great to work with and kept me up to date on progress. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Pavers in patio area ; 45 tons of gravel; white cement squares ; lost communication with our designer which caused us distress. & frustration!!!!! We would probably use them again but hopefully without this much anxiety. The Home Show was where we saw their display .

Description of Work: Alan designed my backyard from scratch. It was exactly what I had asked for and more! He was excellent to deal with from start to finish. Anytime I had questions he always responded in a timely manner. It was worth every penny to transform my yard from a weed choked mess to a mini Desert Botanical garden.

Description of Work: Did not show up for initial meeting to give us a quote, did not call us, in fact claimed that they had forgotten to schedule someone to meet us. They rescheduled to a less optimal time and showed up looking sloppy and unkempt, the quote did not include any sketches or visual representations that they understood the work that we wanted to have done.

Description of Work: Knowing we were looking for a backyard makeover, we hired Masterscapes based on the work they had performed on our friend's backyard. I had a general sense of what we were looking for (pavers to replace existing concrete, landscaping, gas fireplace, lighting, and irrigation) and we couldn't be happier with the result. I explained my general ideas to Jeremiah and he helped pick suitable plants for the area and came up with a perfect design to accommodate the new pavers and fireplace. | |I had read a separate review about them offering to meet at the nursery to pick out specific plants and that is exactly what they did with us. My spouse who had previously worked at a nursery really appreciated that aspect. | |The work was finished in a matter of weeks and the attention to detail was far and away more than I expected. Each of the pavers were fitted in a unique pattern and the masonry for the fireplace is amazing. At the end of the day, the backyard makeover has essentially added a new room to our house and our young son spends everyday outside (until the summer weather hits of course). We have enjoyed many nights as a family sitting by the fireplace in the evening - just wish we would have done something like this sooner.
