+ 0 moreIf you’re going to use them, you should have a contract with them and not just rely on their estimate. They messed up with some things. I’m happy with some of the work they did. Their attitude kind of got in the way. Their responsiveness was good in the beginning with the estimate but they are very busy and I remember I had to postpone the work. They were punctual and here on time. I don’t want to talk to that group anymore. I would not use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Masterscapes for landscaping. I last used their services a little over a year ago. They installed plants around my house.

Description of Work: Jeremiah met with us several times to design our backyard/patio area, making suggestions and recommendations about plants, lighting, pavers, everything. He worked with us, patiently answering so many questions about plants and watering systems as we are new to the area and had no clue about desert landscaping. He presented us with a very detailed, scaled drawing, which we then worked on, together, to modify to fit our budget and dreams for how we wanted the area to look. His crews were all very professional, fun to have working here, and again they worked with us every step of the way to make sure we got exactly what we had in mind. The final project included paving over and expanding an small existing patio; making a curved patio walk way to a 16" paved circular area for a firepit table; running wire and installing lights along path to seating area and highlighting the cactus mound, designing and planting two gravel/small mound, plant areas, placing 4 small boulders for relief effect, and redoing the entire sprinkler system to include the small flowering plant area, the cactus mound area, the grass area, and some other plants around the perimeter of the backyard. They also deep root fertilized two trees that were not doing well, that are beautiful now. They left the area clean and just as we hoped, Jeremiah continued to monitor progress every step of the way and everyone in his office was equally attentive and helpful whenever we called.

+ 2 moreTroy was on time for estimate appointment and worked with me to get their price down to my lowest bid in order to get the job. He made a thorough presentation and gave me helpful suggestions. Crew arrived on time and did an excellent job and answered all my questions and concerns. They cleaned up after the job was finished and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. I will use them again when I do my back patio and walkway.

+ 4 moreOwner / manager arrived exactly on time; crew followed within minutes. They began by hauling away trash from demo the day before -- something I had though I would have to do -- then got to work on the palm tree and prep work. Everyone friendly and hard-working. Very respectful of home interior, though some work required workers to pass through the house. All of this was done on one day's notice, though I had planned to have to wait a few days for scheduling. There is one minor issue that will need follow up attention. My confidence in management is such that I am sure this will be addressed effectively. I will let you know!

+ 1 moreI would like to recommend Masterscapes/Troy Rock, for your irrigation needs or projects. My water pressure had gone down considerably over the past year. Troy informed me that, over time, the main line can get pinholes in it, or become kinked from roots. With his advice, I recently had 3 new main lines and a new valve installed, so that all my trees, shrubs, and flower beds, would be on separate lines, and separate programs; in order to provide correct watering schedules. Troy and his men were knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained everything, addressing all of my concerns. They were very kind, courteous, and cheerful, completing my project with competance.
Description of Work: *Install new valve for front and back yard * install new polyline with emitters to every tree and shrub, and soaker hose in flower beds, front and back yard *remove lantana front yard * properly trim 1 tree *Deep fertilize 4 trees *Plant 24" box tree (to replace tree that fell down in wind storm) *Install new irrigation wire from valves to clock Troy responded to all of my concerns, and took care of completing my project

+ 2 moreThe work performed was great! Very professional. My mesquite has never looked better! Scheduling was a little disjointed! Troy said I would be called to schedule. I had to call them. We scheduled for Friday and then they called to reschedule for Thursday which I couldn't do, so they ended up coming on Saturday. It worked out and the workers were punctual.
Description of Work: Trimmed my mesquite, fan palm, two small acacias and a couple of branches on my pine tree. Deep root fertilized 3 trees (mesquite, pine & citrus).
