He is just excellent. When they finished they left everything very neat and clean. I couldn't ask for a better group of people. They were just great.

They showed up at the agreed upon time. They worked quickly and efficiently. Upon completion the head person walked me around and pointed out what all had been done. That way I would know if I was happy while they were still there. I was pleased with what was done.

Start to finish well within estimated time and budget. We frequently refer interested observers who are impressed with the final result.

I do not think that we have had any more professional organization for landscaping and irrigation systems. I have used others in different states and when they weren't available, I generally did it myself, having some experience with landscaping and irrigation systems. They were professional, on time, and did not waste any time doing their assigned tasks in what were some of the hottest days to date in Phoenix this year. I was told that if I had any problems at all or any questions about the work that was done or if I even thought that one of my plants were ailing, to give Troy a call and he would make a personal visit to address the problem. I'm used to taking care of my own landscaping, but it is very comforting to know that Masterscapes has my back if there are any problems. I know now that I have a great system in place and the right trees and shrubs planted that work in this climate and should thrive and survive for many years of beauty and enjoyment. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the results.

They performed superb work. I was supposed to have 4" of hardstand concrete but it turned out to be 6" of reinforced concrete to demolished. Even though the work turned out to be more difficult, they still said they'd finish in 2 days & even pulled other people off other jobs to complete it. They had to put in 150% effort to get the job done & had haul away tons of concrete. The finished project was beautiful & there was no damage from all the demolition work. A couple of small dings were taken care of within the promised two-day follow up time. They're an excellent company & I would recommend them very highly.

Initially my experience with Masterscapes was positive. They were prompt in contacting me to arrange a time for Troy Rock to come to my home and walk through the work I was interested in having completed. When I made my appointment I was clear that my projects were smaller in nature and that if they weren't interested in that type of work I understood. I was told the were interested in providing an estimate and in being considered for the projects I had. Troy arrived at my home on time on April 25th and we walked through my budget (which was smaller) as well as the projects that I wanted estimates for. I explained that I understood my budget wouldn't allow us to complete all of the projects at once but that I was interested in having a contractor work on over a period of time. Troy was professional while he was in my home and took multiple notes/measurements. Troy told me that he was "very busy" and it could take up to two weeks for him to get back to me with an estimate. I said ok and waited for him to get back to me. On Monday, May 14th (almost 3 weeks later) I had not heard anything from Troy so I sent him an e-mail about the estimate and if he was still interested in an opportunity to bid my project to please contact me with the details ASAP. He contacted me that day via phone and explained that he had been "very busy" and had not had a chance to put together an estimate and he "might" have time that Wednesday but that if I didn't hear back from him I should call to "remind" him. This was extremely disappointing and at this point I was no longer interested in doing business with Masterscapes as it was clear they weren't interested in my business. Troy did call me on the 16th and left a message saying my estimate was ready. I wasn't able to return his call until this past Monday the 21st. During that conversation, I confirmed my decision to not do business with this company as Troy didn't recall that he hadn't provided me an estimate and he stated that he'd try and call me back once he could locate the paperwork which he has not yet done. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and left an impression of unprofessionalism with me. I have decided to go with a different contractor that was much more interested in doing business with me and my small projects.

He did a great job, was very professional, showed up on time and was clear and concise as to what he would do and what his charges were. During the job he broke a window on the house (happens a lot in lawn care and was completely out of his control) and he told us immediately not to worry that it would be replaced. He did a great job.

They were very nice and tried to accommodate me. He was up front and honest about the description on the Big Deal.

From beginning to end the whole experience was great. Jeremiah showed up promptly to give an estimate, Vannie in the office handled the ordering and scheduling with finesses and Darryl supervised. Darryl even went the extra mile to transplant a rose bush that was in the way of the demo and bring a sample when I was unsure of what the prouct looked like. A crew arrived at 7am to begin demolition and the job was complete by 3pm. There one minute, gone the next. Job was left clean and Darryl showed up later to meet with us to inspect the completed job. Definitely a painless experience. I would recommend them, I didn't really shop around after a friend in construction said the price was decent.

While he was here, Jeremiah also gave me some ideas about what it would cost to do a complete landscaping of our back yard. Although I am not ready yet to pay for their services, I do plan on calling Masterscapes when we're ready. I felt that Jeremiah was honest and forthcoming and I really appreciate that!! Thanks,Phil

After several calls to various businesses, only 2 companies called back and both were from Angies List. They were both very professional, and on time for their estimate appointments. Masterscapes was a little late, but called to say he would be delayed, which I appreciated. Both estimates were approximately the same. Masterscapes came with samples and pictures of his work, and he had no problem doing small yards. We had the estimate the week before and he was able to get the job finished the next week in one day. They also followed up with phone calls and the whole team was helpful and informative and acted like they wanted our business. Very Impressive. The other guy said he was 3 or 4 weeks out. Their price matched the estimate as well.

They did such an incredible job! In fact, one of the employees even started to sweep my kitchen floor to pick anything they may have tracked through the house! Truly live up to providing excellent customer service!!!

We collected three quotes from A rated companies on Angie's List. Masterscapes quoted an estimate that was almost three times what the other two companies quoted. On the positive side, the estimator was very punctual and professional. We went with one of the other companies and were happy with the results.

The owner came to my home with samples of gravel for us to look at to get and idea of size and color we wanted The quote was less than we expected it to be. He even took the time to explain the grading system of the diffferent types of gravel.. He called me to let me know who the supervisor would be and the time they would be arriving. The superviser and his team arrived on time and was very nice to speak with. They gave us an approximate time they would be finished. It only took one day to do all of the work. They removed all of the weeds and rocks from the back yard and hauled everything away. We went with the Mesa Table Brown for the gravel to be placed in the backyard. We were very happy withe the outcome and would recommend the company to anyone.

Bought my house two years ago and the front yard was always an eyesore. Weeds, dead grass, the works. Masterscapes removed all the existing grass/weeds, digging down a few inches to insure the weed roots would be removed as well, and layed beautiful stone over. They also built a planter wall and did a barrier wall between myself and my neighbor who still has grass in her yard. The whole project was compelted on time, and the crew working on it were freindly and cleaned up afterwards. Could not be happier with my experience.

I discovered my drip system was no longer working and called Masterscapes on Friday morning. They came to the house at 4 p.m. (right on time), evaluated my situation and gave me a couple of options to fix the problem. They said they would try to find a new timer for me on Saturday but said they may not be able to get one until Monday. On Monday they called to say they had the timer and would install it on Tuesday. Sure enough they showed up on Tuesday and installed the timer. The system works great.

Masterscapes came out and gave us a bid for a total back yard landscape at our new home.The job was done on time, under budget with with full permits. Troy Rock, (yeahhh that's his real name) gave us the plans to give to our association. Everything went real smooth and they completed in less than two weeks. He threw in a few niceties and did not charge for them. After the job was completed, he came back several time to check up on the plants, trees and irrigation.We are extremely pleased with their work and attention to details. We will gladly recommend the company as well as Troy. We are now thinking of paving the front of the house and our one and only call will be to Masterscapes.

We arrange for a consultation with Masterscapes Landscape & Design, LLC for a quote of our landscaping project. Masterscapes was contacted just after Jan 1st. On Jan 6th their representative came to our property at 2:00 p.m. to review the project and prepare a quote of a project that is likely to run somewhere between $12K to $16K. The representative was asked to provide a quote by the end of the following week (Jan 13th) if possible. Because a major local Home and Garden Show was schedule for Jan 13 - 15, the representative requested if it would be possible to provide a quote by the Tuesday following the show (January 17th) and we agreed. The 17th came and went with no quote provided. A follow-up e-mail was sent on Jan 23rd. We never received a response. A follow up phone call was made on Jan 25th asking if we were going to get a quote or not. The person answering the phone indicated she would check and let us know. In the late afternoon on Jan 30th another phone call was made. We were advised that it would be approximately another week and a half before we could get a quote. Such delays, failure to meet self-imposed deadline, and failure to communicate to us indicating a delay would occur is both lacking in professionalsim and, as we believe, very inconsiderate to us and the other companies we asked to quote, and who responded to us in a timely manner. We will never consider Masterscapes Landscape & Design, LLC for any project in the future.

We told him that we had a $10,000 project, and his estimate was for $17,000. He was absolutely pushy, rude, and arrogant. He did not listen to what we were saying. We had an absolutely horrible experience with him. The estimate was 70% over budget. We would never use Masterscapes again.

Converted our front lawn into desert landscape including new lighting and rerouting the watering system. Very satisfied with professionalism and customer orientation. They listened to what probably amounted to special requests especially regarding increased eco-friendliness (other landscapers had only one way they would do the same job). Cannot say the job went without a hitch but where there were misunderstandings re: the original proposal they were easy to work with and responded to any questions/issues promptly if not immediately. We have been living with the new landscape for a few months now and are very happy. Would use this company again.

They did an excellent. About 2 months after the job we had an issue but they came back immediately and fixed the problem. We were very impressed with their professionalism.

Owner arrived at mutually agreed upon time to provide his recommendations and a price for the required work. After I contracted to services, crew was scheduled in a timely manner and arrived on time to complete my job. Crew members were hardworking, pleasant and professional. Work was completed as discussed in expected time frame. After the crew was done, I walked the yard with the foreman to review the results. I am pleased with the entire process and my yard is now in satisfactory shape for presentation as a rental.

I called at 10am in the morning to detail the problem with my irrigation system. The owner arrived at my house about 90 minutes later. He inspected the system, determined the problem, we agreed on a price and he said that it would be fixed the next day. His worker arrived as promised and did a great job.

Very good advice on needs and an accurate estimate. Very polite crew spreading the new rock, always made sure to ask before they started a new area. Excellent clean up by the crew also.

I decided not to go with this company because he wanted to relandscape rather than just maintain our back yard. I also felt that his estimate was a little bit expensive.
