Jeremiah arrived early and checked out my system. There was a valvue that was not working and I was given options as to how to fix it. Being a new homeowner, I had some work that I wanted done. Jerimiah gave me a quote on various othere projects I wanted to do.

We were most impressed with the professionalism, promptness, and honesty of Masterscapes. We feel we have found a valuable resource, and will definitely use this company in the future.

The work was begun within days of the estimate and completed without interruption in less than two weeks! The same two crews return- ed through completion. The workers seemed to be self starting, concerned with doing a good job, diligent, though some of their tasks were very physically demanding. All of them were considerate, polite and seemed to work well together.. Cleanup was not a problem.

From start to finish it went very well. The initial consulation I had was with Troy. He listened to what I wanted to do and asked appropriate questions. He was able to visualize the potential of the yard and gave me some great ideas to make the most of the space. I called him a day or two later and told him I had decided to use Masterscapes for the renovation. He gave me a start date and an estimated finish date, both of which were right on target. The workers showed up on time every day and worked all day. All of them were polite, professional and knowledgeable. The water feature was done by Armando who clearly knows what he's doing. It is a work of art in my opinion and I am very pleased with how it turned out. The new/extended patio was done in travertine and is absolutely beautiful. The compliments I have had on the whole yard have all been "rave reviews". I am so glad that I went with Masterscapes and will recommend them to others without any hesitation. Prior to my consultation with Masterscapes, I had talked to other landscaping companies but none seemed to care enough or had the imagination to "think outside the box" and visualize what the true potential of the yard was and what could be done with it in order to get the most out of it. The end result is like having another room to the house, it is so pleasant to spend time out there now and I have already had two parties in order to show it off .

Estimate was done and finalized.Work order written and job scheduled.Crew arrived on schedule and went over job to be performed.Job started and completed.Area cleaned up afterwards.The red rock had a lot of sediment in it so the clean up was a mother and the crew did a very good job getting most of it up.I power washed the side walk areas later on,the hose just won't do it if you want perfection .With that said a excellent job done overall and i will use them again in the near future for another project at my new home.These guys were the best.

I responded to an ad by MasterScapes for $49 after reading carefully the ad and realizing that it was exactly what i'm looking for since my dripper system has been having a few water pressure issues as of late. The ad, written by Masterscapes, clearly says "inspection of ALL nozzles. Inspection of ALL existing heads and rotors. Checking for main line and lateral leaks. Finding dry areas in your yard and adjusting to cover those areas. Valve test and inspection. Setting controller for proper water time and duration. $49 only. Normally $120." Masterscapes did none of these listed items. Not only were they 2 and 1/2 hours late to the appointment, they were here for about 2 minutes before he started selling a full new dripper system at $3000. He literally looked at my valves STANDING UP (not even bending down to look at them or touch them) for less than one minute and said that he could do a whole new system for $3000. He said "these are probably 10 years old and I would recommend a whole new system that will cost you about $3000." I explained some of my concerns about how some of the lines don't get full force of pressure of water and asked him how we can figure out the issue and he didn't care. He was there to sell only a full dripper irrigation system. He didn't even run the valves with water. The main guy and his partner left my house within 15 minutes with an estimate over $3000 and a pitch at the end "so, when you thinking of doing this?" and then continuing to ask probing questions to try to get me to commit. When I commented on it is a low priority he continued to ask probing questions such as how many other bids i've received, "if i dont hear from you within a week i'll go ahead and give you a call". I told him not to call me and he said "well, that is my job. I'm in sales. So i'm going to call you." I again told him explicitly not to call me. He handed me the quote for a whole new irrigation system and left. He didn't look at a single dripper system head, any of the valves up close and didn't even run water through the system. So much for "The Big Deal" and all of the listed tune-up and diagnostic items listed. It is a trick for them to get PAID to SELL you a whole new system. Notice that they have 10% D and F ratings. So you either get taken care of or absolutely offended. There are plenty of solid landscaping businesses in the valley to conduct business with. Go with someone else that doesn't have such a high percentage of D and F ratings.

Really fast. Didnt take his time. Not worth 50 bucks.

We are extremely disappointed with Masterscapes. We paid for services that were not delivered. Frankly, Jeremiah seemed interested only in selling a new system. He was friendly enough. But his attempts to sound like he was not pushing a new system at me were rather feeble. We are even more disappointed that this company is allowed to do business under the auspices of Angie's List. We had believed we could rely dealing with a better company.

They did an excellent job. They came out when we needed and didn't put our needs off.

Terrible....they basically duped me out of my $ 49.00

Jeremiah actually arrived a bit earlier than the scheduled time. He walked around our property, looked for the (missing) timer, checked the exposed tubing, assessed the maturity of the plants and told us what plants we have. After discussing possible ways to water - repair existing system or re-do entirely, Jeremiah ultimately recommended buying a bunch of soaker hoses. He is not going to make ANY money by recommending we buy soaker hoses so we really appreciated his honesty and candor. Jeremiah also took time to discuss some down-the-road landscaping ideas for our front yard. Jeremiah was a super-nice, friendly, professional and seemed quite knowledgeable ( we aren't so, ...). We hope to have the opportunity to use his services in the future.

The service was good from start to finish. Masterscapes rep Shane visited my home. We spent a lot of time looking at my backyard, though determining where the plants could go in that space proved a challenge. We looked at the front yard and I decided that would be a better use of the type of landscaping plants. I had a lot of empty space, filled with only two very large cacti. Shane gave me a quote for an addition $189 to provide general yard cleanup and haul away of a lot of existing yard debris from my earlier landscaping efforts. The crew arrived on site, followed by Shane, who directed the plantings. This was good because I really have no talent for landscaping. Sage, yellow bells, lantana, and a mesquite tree were planted. All the work was completed in a timely, professional manner, and the yard cleanup was excellent. I was given instruction on the care of the plants in the long/short term. I would certainly employ this company again for future landscaping needs.

The gentleman came on a different time that we scheduled so we were not home. He stated he went thru the yard and we are unaware of the tuneup he performed, but he left an estimate of what he can do to make changes to our existing landscape.

Very good team of people, work was supervised well, followed plan details well, corrected any minor issues quickly, did final walk through to review work once completed. They were fast and did quality work, when minor corrections or adjustments were requested, they made the changes or adjustments. Happy with this company, would recommend the work.

The wall went well. Ar first, they took the wrong limb off the house. I had to call them to come back and finish the job but when I did they were very responsive.

Troy came out and gave me an estimate on repairs, and discussed my options with me. The work was then scheduled and performed within about 7-10 days, and I have had no problems. I would use this company again.

Jeremiah recognized the magnitude of our current irrigation issues and was very helpful in explaining why and how it should really work to provide everything with the right amount of moisture. I asked him to provide an estimate for modifications, which he did. Masterscapes is truly a customer service oriented company that we highly recommend. They have gone above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. When I first called to schedule an appointment there was a slight scheduling snafu, and Jeremiah wanted to personally make it right with us so he insisted on performing the work on our system himself. He even insisted on refunding our purchase price. We know the work was done right and with the level of care we would expect from a reputable company - like Masterscapes! We moved here from the upper midwest, and soon discovered businesses don't always care about real customer service. They just want your money. However, Masterscapes and Jeremiah have shown us there are good, conscientious people in Phoenix. Thank you, Jeremiah!

They wouldn't guarantee the service of cleaning the pavers but offered to do their best however, I was still uncomfortable. Masterscapes did install landscape lighting and comleted outdoor plumbing which at this point, I am very happy with!

I would call his visit great and worthwhile

I was on a tight budget so I had to pick and chose services. The rest of the work I did myself. There was a little snafu in the billing because they under quoted me. But, they did the right thing and completed the job without taking me for ride. In the end, I was happy with their services. Masterscapes was punctual and professional. The crew was great and they answered all of my questions. I would recommend Masterscapes though they may be out of the price range of many young families. Of course you get what you pay for and I think they lived up to their reputation.

I called regarding the sprinkler tuneup for 49.00. Jeramiah came at the time he said he would, was polite and did his thing. Offerred to give me advice on the phone since I could not afford his monthly service. Yard looks great.

Troy arrived a bit later than I expected, but he provided very professional service and advice.

Very professional and obviously extremely experienced. Troy was great in taking the time to answer questions and explain his repair suggestions. I would definitely use them again!

Everything went great, from the initial consultation for the estimate to the close-out of the project. They worked with my budget and maximized what I could do. Even took me to one of the nurseries they use and we walked around picking out the types of plants, shrubs, vines, etc. that I liked. The crew they sent over to perform the work was very professional and courteous. There ended up being a minor problem with some of the small travertine pieces in the walkway (cement did not take and they ended up loose), but I called them up and they fixed it immediately. And the initial quote was exactly what I paid. No surprise or additional costs.

They provided a through evaluation of our watering systems and an estimate to fix and upgrade our landscape. After much consideration we decided that we did not want to spend that much money at this time and we have decided to go a different direction
