Howard Air

This was our first experience with Howard Air. Being new to the area, we wanted to establish a relationship with an HVAC company for regular maintenance and service. The 18-year-old HVAC system in our condo was in need of the thorough inspection and cleaning. Jordan arrived within the scheduled appointment window and executed his checklist; documenting all of the necessary measurements. He then reviewed his findings with us and indicated that our HVAC unit was in good shape. Jordan was extremely sensitive about not making a mess. Everything was neat and clean when he left. He was very polite and professional. Jordan left us with a sense of confidence that we had chosen the right company. We would highly recommend Howard Air to those in need.

Tanner was my sales technician. He came to the house and did a very thorough examination and was very good at listening to my thoughts and concerns. He was on time and very professional and asked a lot of questions. Howard Air was my 5th quote from a major A/C company as I knew this was going to be an enormous expense. I had taken about 8 months doing research on all the companies that were highly recommended. Tanner wrote a fair proposal and was flexible with a few items. I went with Howard out of the 5 companies because I felt like they were not trying to up-sell me or use scare tactics to gain my business. I checked them out on BBB, AZ license and their insurance coverage. The install was effortless and painless and done by Howard long term employees. 6 men showed up for a Saturday install of 2 rather complex units - one heat pump had to go in a tight space in the attic of the master closet. But they padded and protected everything (even the stairway) and were professional and very helpful. I have to say, I usually do not expect above average customer service anymore, so everyone from Howard, including team on the phone scheduling everything, was a delight to work with. They finished the job before 3 pm and left my house neat and clean. And everything written in the contract was delivered - I felt like they really cared about getting it right. Making sure a job is done correctly and exceeds expectations should be #relationship goals for all companies, but we all know that is rarely the case. Howard Air did just that. I will recommend Howard to all of my neighbors without hesitation. They have earned a customer for life.

The service went perfectly... as has been our experience consistently with Howard Air! The tech, Eric, was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. We are so glad to be working with Howard Air. Their pricing, responsiveness and sleuthing skills are great. Over the past decade, we have only had good experiences with this company.

Very smoothly. Brought the required 30 foot ladder. This may not seem like a big deal, but I've had technicians show up without one despite my very specific request. Prompt service, showed up on time, and very professional.

From the initial meeting with Ted, the Sales Consultant, I knew I would be choosing Howard Air for my HVAC installation. Ted was very thorough explaining every detail of the installation and also did a video for the installers. Prior to the installation I received an e-mail indicating how the process would go and that I would receive a phone call the day prior to confirm the arrival time of the crew. When the installers arrived, we did a walk-around and they got right to work. The crew of David and Cesar were very courteous and personable. They did a phenomenal job. From start to finish, it was a flawless experience! I would not hesitate to recommend Howard Air to anyone!

Very professional and excellent service.

Needed a replacement of a very old AC unit and gas furnace. Howard Air price was competitive and they were the only supplier that actually calculated our actual system size. They installed a temporary outdoor unit in the hottest part of the summer so we could at least stay cool until they could install the new unit. Installation was very professional, technicians were careful to make installation look very good. When they replaced the existing thermostat they even painted the wall where the old thermostat had been! We love the new Trane system - it is very quiet compared to the old one and cools very well.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS BUIS. IS THE REAL DEAL-I AM SO GLAD I TRUSTED THE OTHER EXCELLENT REVIEWS AND HIRED THEM --THEY HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL---I AM WAITING FOR MY NEW UNIT TO BE DELIVERED BY THEM---FOR THE SECOND TIME THEY CAME OUT TO FILL MY UNIT WITH FREON-THEY CAME OUT IMMEDIATELY AND CHARGED ME NOTHING THEY PROMISED TO KEEP ME COOL UNTIL I GET MY NEW TRANE UNIT INSTALLED - AND- THEY DELIVERED ON THIER PROMISE, IF I HAVE ANOTHER EPISODE THEY WILL COME BACK AGAIN -IF I KEEP HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY OLD UNIT THEY WILL DELIVER MY NEW UNIT EARLY AS AN EMERGENCY---THIS IS HOW GREAT COMPANIES DO BUSINESS-THEY SHOULD GIVE LESSONS TO OTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

They were not the least expensive but they seemed very professional and the contract left little to be guessed at. Pleasant experience considering I needed an entire system replacement.

Awesome. We got 3 estimates, and all were quite similar. However, Gary L gave us the clearest, most detailed, and best description of exactly what we needed, didn't need, and how it all worked. This is a substantial investment, and we felt the best service and follow-up was offered by Howard Air. And, one of our units went out before they could do their installation of the new units, and true to their agreement with us they put in a temporary unit asap and we were not without AC for more than a couple of hours.

We called Howard Air over a year ago because our three year old furnace, which we had never used before, would only blow cool air. An HA tech investigated the issue and discovered that the original company who installed the HVAC unit did not connect gas correctly. They had used flex vent tubing instead of fabricated metal, and gas valve was on off position. We asked for pricing to connect gas and were told that a fabricating team would need to come out and evaluate, and that it would probably cost a couple thousand bucks. yikes!! about six weeks went by and no one called us. I called to check and was told a work order had been created but was not sent out to team. Once again I was told that a team would reach out to us, but again, no one called. It just so happend that we had issues with one of our units leaking over the summer and we called a different company, (which I will be writing excellent review for). The tech from the other company evaluated the heating connection, fabricated the design, and within a couple of days connected the gas line, fixed the leaking unit, and redesigned flex piping, all under $900. So fair to say, no I will not be calling Howard Aire again.

Outstanding experience! Professionalism personified. Everything from my initial contact with Howard Air, the scheduling people, the estimator, the installation crew showing up (on time!), the arrival of the large crane, and the installation on a somewhat fragile cedar shake roof -- couldn't have been better. The installation crew (Dave and Carlos) were extraordinary. Friendly, polite and super informative every step of the way. They took great care both on the exterior and interior, when installing two new thermostats and ventilation returns. Wonderful attention to detail plus they welcomed and encouraged any questions I had. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the overall experience, but it was truly "perfect" for an installation of this type.

The tech, Randy, was wonderful. Was here last year and solved a mysterious issue causing my AC to stop running then start again a few hours later. This happened several times a week. Other techs were unable to find the issue until Randy happened to be here when it happened. He has been our tech on several occasions and is always courteous and professional. In addition to great service, they NEVER try to get you to buy things you don’t need like Goettl always did. I buy their yearly service contract each year and they come out to check the furnace in the fall and AC in the spring. Any parts needed are 20% off. There are some other perks with the agreement but I can’t remember them right now. The office staff is very accommodating too.

Howard Air was extremely professional, on time, polite, etc. We just had an overall AC maintenance check.

Picked Howard Air for the install and the attention to detail was awesome. Beautiful work. Used Howard for twice a year service and their service tech lives a mile from my house so I schedule Michael for the last service of the day. Always in touch and very detail oriented. Couldn't ask for better service or attention to detail. Very happy with their service contract for annual maintenance. Will keep my units going for longer than average and keep them more reliable and efficient.

Requested an A/C tune up which they quoted $99 for. Supposedly they did a tune up plus report/pics for $129. None of which I asked for, and they didn't even provide the pictures. Totally riped me off!

The salesman that came out was arrogant and condescending. Prices quoted weren't competitive and time to complete was unacceptable. Based on this performance, the company was not even in the running with three others that I had contacted to make quotes. I would not consider this company again in the future.

Ted Hen, Was awesome. Very professional and down to earth. no pressure sales at all. Took a video and explained everything that would be done and why. They cared more about my wife and I being satisfied with the work than them getting their money. The service we got was worth every penny !!!! Everyone I talked to thru this whole process was absolutely wonderful. We got estimates from 2 other very well known companies. Ted's estimate was more detailed than the other two put together. Howard Air doesn't need expensive TV commercials. The company has solvency and integrity Howard Air Rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were on time and worked with my schedule. The entire experience was pleasant one from the meeting with Scott to get the estimate to making the final payment. During the estimate process, Scott didn't try to oversell, explained everything and patiently answered all my questions. He coordinated some additional work that was needed and everything. Once everything was completed, he checked back in to make sure all the work was done satisfactorily. I would recommend them if you are having any work done on your AC unit. It has been 4 months since the install and everything has been running great.
