Excellent job of servicing two roof mounted HVAC units including recommendations for further servicing of potential problems but with no pressure to up-sell.

They did a great job. Were very neat and professional and did not leave any mess.

They called me to tell me they were on their way, arrived promptly and, as always, were very professional. Howard Air is the only company I will use for HVAC! Everyone from the salesperson to the office staff to the techs are so nice but very professional and helpful.

It could not have been better from start to finish. I had 3 bids including one from Costco and Howard Air was the best price (including all rebates and bonus cards from Costco). The Sales person from Howard Air was the most thorough with the initial inspection as well. I also do my homework and Howard Air had an almost immaculate record with the BBB and the AZ contractor’s web site. That was NOT the case from the Costco installers who had a lot of complaints (albeit most were resolved I don’t understand why it would have to get to a point that a complaint has to go to the BBB or the AZ contractors site to be rectified). The install went flawlessly. The installer, crane etc. were all on time and were very courteous. There was appropriate follow up too. I have used them for the P/M on the units with equal satisfaction.

After interviewing the leading HVAC companies in the Valley, only Todd S. of Howard Air understood & correctly calulated the HVAC requirerments of my new home. The other companies used old formulas, that do not apply to highly insulated construction/ shaded high E windows.

They try to get someone out as soon as possible. Service guy showed up on time told me they needed a part ordered and managed to get the AC going temporarily. When the part arrived, they were out the next day to install. Good experience working with service.

During visit the technician found a freon leak. The repair will be handled under warranty. Parts were ordered and the repair is scheduled.

Fine except that the outdoor fuse disconnect wouldn't pull and the technician felt once cooler weather came, the plastics in the disconnect could shrink, and it would pull. Fact is that several months later the system failed and another vendor found the disconnect melted inside.

This was in a rental house and we have had no complaints

It went great. The guy did a great job. He even covered his boots when he came in the house. He was very nice and did a professional job.

Mr. Byrd came to do the estimate but never provided the written estimate even after I emailed him 2 times requesting the estimate. Estimate done in April 2016

Colin showed up right on time and explained all details to me including warranty opstions. Did a complete check found the problem and reparid it. Very perfesional recomend him highly.

Great, identified two weak parts. My home warranty people came out and agreed that the parts needed replacing before failure. Totally please with the service!

I can't say enough good things about them. They are wonderful. They weren't the cheapest, we got 2 new units from them, and they were only I think like $300 more than the next ones. I've reviewed them several times and their customer service is just phenomenal. I referred 84 friends to them who also purchased.

I have a maintenance plan with them. So it's a little different under that than it is if you do it separately. I don't think they're the cheapest service in town. That would be the only place, cost, that they may not rank the highest, but they make it up I think, on the service side. I have not had a bad experience with them and they've been out probably five times after the system was installed already just for six-month checkups. They've had to come back before too. They needed a part or they needed something and they've always followed up and taken care of it. So that has been good. They're on time.

I've had a lot of confidence in them because a friend of my son is the head of the air conditioning association and I asked him who should I get and he said they're the best.

Perfect. Our 16 year old heat pump bit the dust after one long, hot summer. Howard Air provided and installed a *loner* heat pump to keep us cool while we chose the new system and installation date that worked best for us. Sales, Installation and Wall/Ceiling repair were all top grade, on time and professional. We actually chose a system several steps up from what the salesman originally quoted as a good, economical choice. There was no pressure, whatsoever, and we are now cool, quiet and comfortable with a 10 year labor, parts, compressor and coil warranty. We also qualify for the SRP Energy Rebate and Federal Tax Credit. Howard Air gave us an Angie's List promo discount as well as an additional Howard Air discount. The Wifi thermostat is not really a necessity but has proven useful. High fives to all who managed to get the Air Handler into the tight attic space with absolutely no problems.

To start, we had 2 service calls the month before we got the 2 new units installed. We originally had TRANE units in our house. Anyway, they were not operating properly, so on the first visit they put in a new motor which cost $900.00 or so. A couple of weeks later the same unit was not keeping the unit cold so they did some more work to which brought the total over $1,936.00. The unit kept on having problems but we as owners tried to nickel and dime the issue and avoid getting new units. For the Month of June and July are bills were around $550.00 for a 2,500 square foot home; we kept the air on 76 degrees and the unit just kept on running all the time. We finally decided to call Howard Air and discuss getting a new unit as it was costing to much monthly and also repairs. Howard air said a new unit would save us allot and we were interested. We told them we plan on being here forever, which is another 20-30 years so we decided to get the most advanced unit. We pay more upfront but save monthly. It took 2 weeks to schedule an installation appointment because they were so busy, but the $1,936 we put in the unit to fix it over the prior month was deducted from the total install of $35,714. The day of install there were 5 or so people which came around 6:00AM. I told them I wanted both units done the same day; otherwise they would have split the job into 2 days. They finished the same day around 3:00PM. The units also came with new thermostats which are programmable by my computer and phone. Now I run the air on 78 degrees instead of 76 and my home is even cooler than before. I also checked online with my energy provider SRP and the Kilowatt usage was cut in half.

Howard Air Technician cleaned and serviced AC unit to ensure proper running conditions. The Technician offered to change the filters but did NOT try to sell me over priced filters. To save me money, Technician notified me of correct filters to order and replace on my own.

We made an appointment for a technician to come out and do a 44 point check. He found two issues. We also requested a new thermostat. Total cost: $517.23. After installing a new capacitor, the AC unit will not turn off automatically once it gets the house to the desired temperature. I have to turn it off manually. A technician came out to see what the issue was. He found no issue. He said it was like putting a new engine into an old car. New issues may arise due to the new engine. My neighbor is waiting to see how things turned out. I told him to stay away from Howard Air. he gave me his "AC" guy's contact information. I will now contact his contact for any future requests I need for my AC/Heat needs.
