Description of Work: We were needing 3 lbs refrigerant. We were charged $229.50 for it. We needed the evaporator coil cleaned at 109.26. Lastly, we had a condensate overflow safety switch installed at 114.31 for a total of $476.48 beyond our initial Angie's List payment of $69. Are we in the ballpark of prices?? We didn't know but it seemed high compared to our KS costs. |His recommendations made sense and were very professionally done. No clean up necessary afterwards.

Description of Work: We used howard air to get an air conditioning estimate. We did not go with them because a friend of ours had inside connections with another company and got an amazing price. However, these guys were great they came and gave a very thorough estimate even video taping our current system so I could see what was going on with out having to go in the attic. I definitly will consider them in the future they may even be worth a little extra money.

Description of Work: Supposed to do a basic AC check at my rental property - said they found problems which cost a lot more - I wished I could have seen what he was talking about, but would have had to pay another hefty basic service charge, so went ahead with it. I hope they were trustworthy - at least the AC is working fine!

Description of Work: Did an inspection, suggested a MFD cap for $168 that I got elsewhere on my own for $25. They are punctual , accurate and professional. They make money from other services,so I am not insulting them - but money is tight and with a little looking I found the needed item on my own for pennies on the dollar.

Description of Work: They did a great job, cleaned condenser and air handler coils, checked pressure, ensured drainage and sump pump was working good, even checked an expansion valve issue that another company had said was a problem and Howard Air tech said it looked fine. One thing I need to mention, the technician and the service salesman did not communicate that the fixed fee I paid would handle both condenser units outside. The tech said he was supposed to charge for two units, but I had already talked to the sales guy and he said two units would be included. The tech honored the price without any problem, which I thought was fantastic customer service. If you have two condenser units, make sure you clear this with the sales guys and maybe get confirmation with an email, your tech might give you more of a run-around than mine did.
