I?d used Day & Night before and had had a good experience, so I called them again. The scheduler was polite and professional, and said she?d have someone out between 11:30 and 2:00. Jeff quickly assessed the situation and determined that in a house as old as mine (without outside access to the main drain), they?d have to remove the toilet and get into it that way. Unfortunately he did not have the big drain machine needed for this job; another technician had it (Jeff had a smaller machine). He scheduled a visit by that technician for the following day, after his earlier appointments. Jason went right to work when he arrived and cleared the drain much faster than I expected. He wiped out and rinsed the tub when he was done. He honored the Big Deal I?d bought, even though it had expired the day before, because they?d been unable to do the work that day. Both Jeff and Jason were very knowledgeable and professional, and I?d be happy to work with either of them again. Thanks to everyone involved!

My 83yr old mother's AC went out during 110+degree weather. One AC company come out and gave her the bad news that the AC had to be replaced. She felt they were trying to upsell her and didn't feel comfortable with the representative. I checked on Angie's list and called Day and Night AC (at 9:30pm), which advertised a complimentary 2nd opinion estimate. They were extremely busy, but said they would be out the following afternoon. They arrived even earlier - 11am. After checking the system out, they concurred that a new unit was in order, however they would try something that might work. The cooling did operate, but only for a few hours. My mother called to advise them and they returned the next day to discuss pricing and payment options available. The rep was never pushy, and we felt he was EXTREMELY honest. After the deal was made (about $200 less), they told us installation would be within the week, but because of my mother's age and health they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Day and Night actually ordered a crane to put in a temporary unit THAT SAME DAYuntil her unit arrived, with NO additional charges. SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

1st...I was impressed with how often that Day and Night responded to reviews; which is one of the reasons I chose this company. It demonstrated to me that customer service is important to the company. 2nd..The response time was super fast! I called to make and appointment on Thursday 11/15 and was able to get an appointment for Monday the 19th. 3rd and foremost... Erick our technician was absolutely fabulous! My husband and I moved to Phoenix in August from the mid-west, so we had a LOT of questions on the differences between the requirements in the mid-west versus the requirements in a desert climate. It was almost like "fate" that Erick was the technician sent to our house...since he also was from the mid-west (actually from an area about 25 miles from where we lived), he could relate to our questions and had the ability to explain the differences. He was so patient explaining everything and taking the extra time to show me what he was doing and how to address the concerns we have with the air quality in our home. His knowledge and skills are obviously a great asset to Day and Night, but his demonstration of customer service was above and beyond what I've experienced in the past when dealing with heating and air technicians. He listened to our concerns and was able to make suggestions /recommendations to address each of them - there was NO hard sell, no additional charges, etc. We are very impressed, with Day and Night and on Erick's recommendations we are having Day and Night come and do a plumbing inspection and a duct work inspection (which Erick arranged before he left, and again the response was terrific - I've already heard from the home office and have scheduled those appointments). Erick...Thank you for your time yesterday...and I'm sorry that the 49'rs whooped up on the Bears.....

Purchased a second "big deal" from this company because my first experience with them was so good. Jason J. came out and did the installation in my second bath. Very efficient, professional and pleasant. Like their nice company shirts. I'm very pleased with the job and the company.

After purchasing my Deal, I immediately called Day & Night Air Conditioning Heating and Plumbing to schedule the work and I was connected with a friendly and helpful receptionist. Although the earliest they could get someone out to do the work was 3 weeks later, I was reminded that the time needed to inspect, clean and tune-up 4 furnaces and 1 split heat pump would take awhile. The technician, CJ, arrived on time after calling 30 minutes prior to arrival. He was professional and extremely thorough. He explained the scope of work he intended and afterward reviewed his findings on a report. He educated me on the motor capacitor ratings and report readings which really helped me to understand how aging capacitors require more electricity, reducing the efficiency the furnaces, and cost me more money. With a copy of the report to compare with future inspections, I will be able to keep track of the capacitor degradation over time and decide when to replace. I never felt pressured to purchase a maintenance plan or to authorize any of the suggested work. I have used Day & Night before and I would use them again. I will be making a follow-up appointment to remove and chemically clean a very dirty indoor coil CJ discovered on the split heat pump.

Jackie said Jason would call me after 5 PM. Never Did. If a company cannot return a phone call as promised what hope do I have for them to keep an appointment?

All in all it was a great experience. I feel like I really got my money's worth and the service guy was prompt and friendly.

I had a leak from the back of my fridge. Day & Night came out and told me it was a simple repair and suggested that I buy a steel hose to replace the plastic one I currently had. I appreciated their service and suggestion as they saved me money when they could have been dishonest and charged me inflated rates as is customary with service calls. The technician was super friendly and on time and was in and out within 10 minutes. I will use them again and recommend them highly! A++++

The representative arrived during the time given. He was very professional and polite. He explained in detail what he was going to do and showed me results as he went along. He did a very thorough job and when he was done he made his recommendations.

Employee Randy misdiagnosed reason for backup; boss Jason returned later to check, clean out the drains and also installed a hose bib. Very satisfied with Jason, he was prompt, courteous and competent.

Recently we had our air conditioning units inspected from a promotion at a large home supply box store. Two service technicians came and did the inspection on October 3rd 2011. The told me I may need a new contacter and should also add some special additive to the refrigerant to make the unit last longer. As we had had no trouble with the unit I told the fellow I would research company on Angie's List before committing to the work or a service contract. Jump forward to the 10 days and we come home to find the house warm. Fortunately it was not a very hot day as it was a Saturday and we decided to call someone on Monday. I called Day and Night Monday morning and they scheduled a service technician for that afternoon. Our service technician Ron Stevens arrived about 3pm and did a cursory inside inspection and then we went out to the condenser outside. He lifted the lid and immediately spotted a corroded wire. He took great lengths to let me know what things did and how things worked. The repair took a few minutes and he inspected the contacter which he said was normal. He did a few routine tests and told me everything was in good condition for a 14 year old unit. Ron was as friendly, knowledgeable and considerate as I could have asked for. We were so taken by his professionalism we singed a service contract. It certainly helped that Day and Nights rating on Angies List is second to none. A big shout out to Ron, Day and Night and Angies List.

I utilized the services of Day & Night 2x in the last two weeks. Once for AC and the other for plumbing. Both times they did an outstanding job. Their response time is FAST. For the AC repair, they were at my house within 15 minutes. For the plumbing issue, they responded within 30 minutes. They handled both jobs professionally and I was VERY satisfied with their work. I'm so happy with their services I'm questioning why I even need a home warranty because Day & Night has done a far better job than every company the home warranty service has dispatched. I'm very happy and will continue to utilize them for future needs. THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST!!! My experience with Day & NIght has definitely resulted in a positive return on my investment in the Angie's List service!

I am a long distance landlord and the service turned out very well. When they pulled the dryer out they realized they just needed to attach the vent to the outside which made the work pretty simple. They just charged for the basic service call time. They were very honest and quick. They did not make something out to be complex that turned out to be very simple. In regards to the hot water heater they secured a connection that had looked like it was loose as well.

I have used them for 12 years. They have a customer for life. I moved here 12 years ago and my mom has used them since they opened in the 1970's. A couple of years ago our heat went out and they sent a fellow out and he was able to get it going quickly.

The work turned out well. They did an outstanding job and they are an outstanding company. They came in and identified the problems caused by another service provider and they fixed the issues.

They are honest, seem to care about their reputation enough to do a good job and make sure you are satisfied. The interior vent did not fit and they came out did a custom installation. They did a great job. The salesman Mike answered all my questions honestly and had the expertise necessary to make a smart recommendation to replace my old A/C unit. The workers themselves knew what they were doing, took pride in their work and were very honest.

The overall results are excellent. Kudos to the mechanical teams and service providers at Day and Night, very professional. They do what they say they will do, or make it right. Good problem solving skills.

This service was performed at 15072 N 114th Way, Scottsdale AZ, 85255 - second family home. First service call to check problem. Second call to replace unit. Third was a walk-through & checkup. Very good service.

I called them Monday evening around 6pm and they were out the next day by 1 in the afternoon. We were not in a rush to have it fixed immediately because we have another A/C unit that allowed us to sleep comfortably despite outside temps over 100 degrees. Although we were not in an urgent situation, they were out within 24 hours and had it fixed in short order. The technician, Braeton, was very professional. My only recommendation is to provide the techs with some sort of POS system so they can scan credit cards versus having to write it down with the V-Code on the actual invoice. Other than that, I was very pleased with the responsiveness of this company and their willingness to work with my schedule. Everyone I talked to was very pleasant and I would definitely use them again.

He arrived on time for the appointment, was highly professional and very friendly. He worked efficiently and caused no disruption in our lives while here. He answered our silly/dumb questions without making us feel stupid for asking them. We are absolutely more than satisfied.
