The experience was a good one. The workmen came the day that had been decided on and began the work of detaching the old unit. After several hours, the crane arrived, took down the old unit and put up the new one. The job was completed in one day. Everything was cleaned up. Approximately two weeks later, the inspector came out to check the installation and gave it an OK.

I purchased the special deal, which was $439 and was originally $800. I called the next working day and scheduled the appointment for the following day. I called back just to make sure I didn't need to do anything else because it was just tooooo easy! Although the technician/plumber had 30 years of experience, apparently he didn't know about a new overflow pipe that is being installed in new houses. He called our builder to check on it and everything worked out fine. I was a little leery when he suggested we might need an additional piece for an additional $150-175. We decided it worked well enough for us. No more waiting for ever to get the hot water to the far areas of the house. It's great and they did a great job.

My overall experience with Day and Night Plumbing and Jeff their plumber was EXCELLENT. The office provide great customer service and was very responsive to my scheduling needs. I found Jeff to be exceptional - competent, helpful, and thorough. Jeff is also prompt, has an eye for detail, and is upfront with all costs. I am very satisfied with Jeff's work and professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend using Day and Night Plumbing. In fact, I have already recommended them to my family and friends. My sister is going to have Jeff check on a possible leak at her house.

Perfect. They let me make a same day appointment. They serviced a unit that was filthy. I purchased a house that was owned by pigs! They tuned it up and saved me thousands in replacement costs. For $179 I got that plus an addition service call that I can use in the next 12 months.!

Day & Night was great to work with. The scheduler in the office was helpful and tried to accommodate my work schedule and she called back a day before the service appointment to confirm the time with me, which I thought were very helpful. Jason arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional. He made quick work of a non-routine job, cleaned up and disposed of the old unit. He even reminded me that Tempe had a rebate program for installing high efficiency toilets. And yes, I received a $75.00 rebate from the city. So the new unit and install only cost me $150 - Yippee! This was my third time hiring Day & Night A/C and I was happy with them every time. I had them install another toilet and a brand-new A/C unit back in April. I would recommend them anytime!

Quick service, did the job.

Jason called to see if he could come 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. He arrived with a pleasant attitude and a smile on his face. He likes dogs and our dogs liked him. He put little booties on over his shoes and I showed him where the water heater was. He explained what he was going to do and then went about doing it. He was in and out in about and hour. He explained how it would all work and set the timer for the hours that would best work for us. Now we get hot water almost instantly instead of running the water for a good minute or more. I'm thinking it will help the dishwasher too. Jason was just as nice as he could be and it was a pleasure to welcome him into our home.

Jason from Day & Night AC Heating & Plumbing installed a whole house recirculating hot water pump at our Phoenix residence. We had purchased an Angie's List special for the installation at $450 for what had been advertised as normally costing $800. Jason called before his arrival and was on time as promised. He was professional in all regards and completed the installation in under an hour, despite a few "Uh-oh's" during the installation of the t-valve under the bathroom sink. Before the system was installed, it took over 2 minutes for hot water to reach our main shower, which was the furthest point from the hot water heater in the garage. After installation, the shower is warm within seconds and fully heated up in under 15 seconds. We are delighted with the system's performance, and very happy with Day & Night for the work Jason did for us. I expect to see our water usage drop dramatically and it is so convenient to have hot water always at hand.

Things went well but about 2 months later both sinks started leaking around the drain flange. Found out the drain assemblies were not properly installed (installed with too much force). No problem with the other work performed.

Jason was amazing. A true professional. I will highly recommend him.

The service went well. The guy that came did a thorough job and went above and beyond what is usually covered in a plumbing inspection call. He was able to flush my water heater which I had been having trouble with recently. The only real issue, and not necessarily anyone's fault, is that after flushing the water heater, the plastic drain valve did not want to fully seal tight, so when I went in my garage the next morning, there was a steady drip coming from the nozzle and water all over my garage floor. It wasn't a huge disaster and no damage, but it did mean that the guy had to come back out and replace the drain valve with a more durable and reliable one. Overall, good service.

My leaking toilet is no longer leaking! The plumber called me approximately 20 minutes before his arrival as I had requested so that I could give him directions within my 13 building condo community. He arrived within the scheduled time and performed the work promptly from diagnosing the cause of the leak to making the repairs and and cleaning up after the work was completed. He answered all my questions. He was polite and respectful. He reminded me of the discount coupon for $30 off repairs. I was very pleased with the work done and it was very nice to not have a mess to clean up after which seems to happen way too often with other repair persons.

Jeff arrived early, which was fine with us. Asked if he should put on booties to protect our carpet. He performed all of the items on the Big Deal list in a timely and efficient manner. Recommended we get a new garbage disposal as ours is beginning to leak and told us our water heater would need to be replaced soon as it was old. He did not try to sell us these products. There was an extra charge of $25 to drill through the wall in order to access electricity, which we agreed to. He left everything neat and clean.

Our chronically slow drains in our older home (built 1968) finally stopped working - on the weekend, of course. Never fear, Jeff Oehm, a Navy veteran and former teacher, came on Saturday morning, and got our drains in ship shape order in about an hour and a half. He worked hard, did it well, and educated us in the process - now we know NOT ever to use any kind of "flushable" products in older drains - oops, I shouldn't mention that! He might have less work to do. We learned a lot, and are now enjoying free flowing drains. Older homes don't have outside access to the sewers, so Jeff removed our toilet to clean the pipes. He put it back solidly with caulking. He then sanitized the bathtub that had backed up, along with the toilet bowl, and let us know which products should and should not be used to keep the toilet bowl clean. (I like those bleach tablets, but they destroy the mechanisms in the tank!) I thought the job would cost more than he charged, so was happy with the price. We used a coupon in the Angie's List booklet, which helped a lot. No extra charge for coming on the weekend. Yay! Thanks, Jeff.

Gave a fair estimate and I wish I had hired them to do job. I went with another company who's estimate was a little lower and they completely ripped me off. The company I hired gave up their license within months of doing the work; Day & Night are still licensed and I have heard good things about their work since then.

They were very professional and explained everything they were inspecting. There was a part that needed to be replaced and they explained the need for it and showed me why it needed replacing. I felt very comfortable with their decision and in fact purchased an annual warranty from them. About 6 months later I had them come out and check the air conditioner again as I was hearing a noise inside the house whenever the air came on. The noise was coming from a source that they were easily able to fix. They didn't charge me for this service because it was covered by my annual service. I would definitely use them again and will be doing so soon. I would recommend them highly! In fact, I referred them to a friend of mine who had just purchased a home in my community. They had an issue with their air conditioner not venting properly in their bedroom. They had to have their ducts re-routed. My friend also had them install a heat re-circulating pump as they do plumbing work as well. they are also extremely happy with their service, competency, and professionalism.

I obtained quotes from several vendors before reading the review for Day & Night Air Conditioning on Angie's List. I have an air conditioner outside and my heat is provided by my water heater. I have had the split system before. I like the idea that my air conditioner only runs during the summer and my heat from my water heater runs during the winter, unlike a heat pump that runs all year long. Other vendors tried to talk me into replacing my system with a heat pump, but Day & Night said they'd look into a replacment system and would let me know what they could find. Marc was my salesman and said he'd email me with some information the next day, which he did. He gave me a couple options, both included a split system option like I prefer. I notified Marc the same day that I wanted to go ahead with the replacement and let him know which option I preferred. I chose the Trane Hydronic coil option with variable speed fan and wireless thermostat. Marc said he'd have an installation supervisor out to check things out the next week. The next week the install supervisor arrived and did a very thorough job of looking at my existing installation and determined there would have to be new electrical run for the new unit. Once done with the inspection, my install was scheduled for that week. The install crew showed up promptly at 8am and began covering my tile and carpet with drops cloths, from the front door, all the way to the air handler in my closet. They went to work quickly dismantling my old air handler and a/c unit. Throughout the install, all of their technicians were courteous, provided helpful information along the way, and worked very hard the entire time they were here. The install crew finished their work, cleaned up everything, reviewed the wireless remote with me, and discussed the performance of the unit with me while they completed their testing. Once they were completed with the install, they said to call immediately if I noticed any problem and that the office would contact me in a couple weeks to schedule a time for the sales rep and service technician to come out and perform testing of the system to ensure it's working properly and to collect payment. I had a new system installed and hadn't paid a dime so far. Two weeks later, the sales rep and service technician made a visit. The service technician spent an hour and a half inspecting and testing the system to ensure everything worked properly. The sales rep collected his payment and off they went. I've never been more pleased with a sales or install experience and I'm thoroughly pleased with the Trane product. I should mention that if you haven't experienced a variable speed air handler, you should. It comes on and off slowly and operates so quietly that many times I can't even tell if it's on. That takes some getting used to, but is so nice. And the wireless thermostat has an app for my phone that allows me to operate all settings from my phone. Also note, Day & Night does more than just a/c. They handle water softeners, plumbing, indoor air quality, etc. Check them out! They are an incredible company. Everyone I came in contact with understands the true meaning of customer service. I'm not the most demanding customer, but I know what I want and like. Day & Night handled everything like true professionals and everyone was focused on doing an exceptional job and making sure I was satisfied. Even though there was additional wiring required and some sealing of my cold air intake due to some work that had been left undone years ago, I was never charged a penny more than the quote I had originally been given. They even provided me with a new metal air filter to go in front of my existing electronic air cleaner and found replacement tabs for closing of the air cleaner grate. No additional cost. You can shop around. I encourage you to do so. It will only make you appreciate Day & Night much more!

Jeff was very thorough and did a great job. He seemed pleasant to deal with and never complained about the job at all.

Arrived on time, did the inspection, made a trip to purchase new faucet handles , applied same in an efficient and timely manner.

The company rep showed up on time and did what I thought was a through inspection of my home, as well as discussion of my desires for the new system. He returned to his office and within a day or two sent me an estimate for a high efficiency system. The estimate was well written and understandable, but ultimately, their price was higher than I thought the value of the system presented. I went with another company that had a higher efficiency system and lower cost.

I contacted the office via email to inform them of our Angie's List big deal purchase and to request information on how to proceed. The next morning I received a telephone call from the office and arranged an appointment for the same week. The plumber arrived promptly at the beginning of the three-hour window that I was given for the service appointment. The plumber, Jeff, was very friendly and professional. He explained exactly what services he would perform and took the time to show me the equipment and timer and explained it's operation. Jeff completed the work efficiently and quietly. He cleaned up the work area as he went along and left the hot water heater and sink areas cleaner than when he arrived. He tested the equipment and ensured that everything was working properly. He also explained what I should do if we will be away from the house for vacation to save money and energy while the house is empty, and also showed what to do if we will have guests in the house and therefore a higher demand for hot water. The entire job was completed within one hour. I was extremely pleased not only with the work, but with the professionalism and pleasant demeanor of our technician, Jeff. I highly recommend this company and will use them again whenever I need plumbing services!
