I never heard back from the technician. On Wednesday afternoon I did receive a call from Day and Night with a follow up call asking how the service call had went. I told her what happened and that he had not gotten back to me. She said she would pass that along and get it taken care of. I have not heard back from anyone more than a week and a half from when she called. After I posted a negative review on Angieslist I got a call from the owner expressing a desire to rectify the situation that had gone wrong. He vowed he would get the plumber back out and fix the water softener at cost. The plumber did come back out and did the work apologizing for losing my work order and forgetting me. They repaired the water softener for only what the Softener Store charged them for the unit rebuild and the replacement resin. I would most likely use them again.

Great. Kasey called when he was on his way; was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant, and performed the annual maintenance work on my air conditioner.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I think they came out shortly after I purchased the Big Deal. I did not have any complaints.

We will use and recommend Day and Night in the future, and this is why... It was Saturday about noon that we discovered that thieves had stolen the copper and brass plumbing off the front or our house. We were supposed to close on the sale of our home on Monday, two days later. We checked Angie's List for a highly rated plumber and chose Day and Night. We called and they dispatched a plumber that afternoon. It turned out that there were problems with the repairs, and we were very unhappy. The good news in this story is that a couple of days later, a nice lady called from Day and Night to see how we liked the service. Naturally she did not get a good report. Later that day we got a call from the HVAC manager who had seen the report, and even though this was not his responsibility, as part of the management team he called to find out what had happened. He was very concerned and had the plumbing manager contact me to make things right. The plumbing manager called the next morning and wanted all the details. He was clearly upset that our experience had been bad. To make sure we are a happy customer, he went way beyond our expectations in responding to our issues. We could not have been more pleased in his dedication to customer satisfaction. I am confident that Day and Night will not allow this to happen again. Due to the exceptional way that management responded, the next time we need either plumbing or HVAC service we will certainly call them again. It is not how a company performs when everything goes well that tells about their core values, but it is how a company performs in the face of adversity. Day and Night went above and beyond.

The work went perfectly, they arrived on time, they did everything as expected, and I was very pleased that they even did a follow up visit about a month after the job was done and that is when we gave them the final check. They were extremely professional and easy to work with.

I paid $45 for 22 point tune up for my heat pump and it was a little cheaper than my routine service so I thought I was saving money. After the technician performed his service he handed me an estimate for $1100 which included $240 to clean part of the heat pump and $90 to tie down some loose wires..............my system was 10 years old so I told him I would pass and called a friend's husband who works in the industry and he told me how to tie down the wires myself (you take chopstick and lift the wires and then tie with a either a twist tie or a special but inexpensive plastic tie you can purchase (saving $90 on that alone) . As far as cleaning, the unit would be cleaned in a routine service call which is normally $75. I ended up paying an extra $75 for routine service which included cleaning the unit and saved the $240 they would have charged me. Needless to say my regular twice yearly service would still do an inspection and tell you if anything needs to be done...........and includes cleaning, oiling and I can't imagine being charged $90 to tie down two wire which took a minute to do. When I told the Day and Night technican that the cleaning came with my regular service he said that his did too! So it turns out that the tune is just an inspection...............I just called Day and NIght and the lady there said that it was a deep cleaning that they do and could cost more but I still felt that the charges were excessive. For all the work that was supposedly needed it is still going strong almost 2 years later,

I called Day and Night for repair to my ac unit, the receptionist was friendly and helpful to assist me with an appointment the same day. Considering it is 110 degrees, I certainly appreciated that :) Jerry, the technician, called me and asked if he could come by earlier as he had finished his previous appointment. When he arrived he was professional and courteous. I explained the problems we were having and he went to work checking over the whole system. He then patiently and thoroughly discussed what he had found and could do about it. Our ac is almost 20 years old, he suggested we consider a new unit down the road for more efficiency and to avoid more costly repairs. However, there was no high pressure sales pitch. I told him we would consider it and call for an estimate when we were ready. He then added more coolant to our system, which was low. I would highly recommend Day and Night, I will also use them in the future. I am new to Angie's List and I appreciate being able to find a reputable company that believes in honesty and integrity. I was also pleased there was a $30 coupon available to use on my repair.

They were unbelievable. This company was recommended by Angie's list. They were completely efficient and they did everything they said they would. I would recommend them to anyone.

The way our house was constructed with an addition we always had areas of the house that were very warm and uncomfortable. The salesman came through the house and made suggestions on how we could improve the air flow and comfort of all the rooms. All the people we dealt with were very professional and courteous. The workmen were very neat and always cleaned up their mess. We were very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of this company. There was a problem with the wiring of the 5 ton unit and it did not run properly. We called and they sent a technician out right away and it was fixed very quickly. We really liked the fact that they come back 1 week later and make sure everything is working properly and there are no problems and that we are satisfied with the work. We were very pleased with the entire experience

One of our AC units went out Friday evening. We called our home warranty company and we were told that they would have someone out by Tuesday. Given that the high temps for that weekend would be ~109, we did not want to wait that long. The next morning we gave DandN a call and were very happy that they could have someone out that same day. They kept us up to date via phone as to when the repairman would arrive. Ron, the repairman was a true professional...also just a nice all-around guy. He diagnosed the problem and had us up and running within an hour. A great overall experience!

I did laundry on Sunday and the drained water backed up in both my tubs. I've had this happen before a few years ago, so knew I needed the main drain line cleaned of roots. I called Day & Night on Sunday and got an immediate return call from one of their technicians who was doing emergency service on Sunday. I told him I had a $129 coupon for main line cleaning from Angie's List and he explained that on Sunday, it would cost more than that. I told him I could wait until Monday and he had someone call me to schedule an appointment for Monday between 3 and 6 pm. I went to work as usual on Monday and left early to be home by 3:00. Jeff called me before leaving his prior job and arrived between 3 and 4 pm in a very clean and shiny Day & Night truck. I pointed out the clean out point in my front yard and he went to work. He ran the power snake cable for 100 feet, which he said was well into the sewer line. That cleared the line and everything was draining again. He did the cleaning at least 2 or 3 more times in order to be positive everything was cleared. He filled out all the info on his iPad and e-mailed me an invoice, I wrote a check and he was off to the next job within no time. I will definitely use Night & Day A/C, Heating and Plumbing the next time I have problems.

Our A/C stopped working on a Wed night and we looked on Angie's List for who to call the next morning. I called Day and Night and spoke to Jackie who was very friendly. I asked if she could possibly send anyone that day and she said yes...that she could send someone out between 1pm and 4pm that day and said the tech would call when he's on his way. At 12pm, I got a call from Jeff, the tech who was coming out, and he said he was ahead of schedule and would be able to come out by 12:30pm which I was very happy about. Jeff arrived as he said and was also very friendly. This is our first experience having central A/C so I had a lot of questions for Jeff and he was happy to answer them all with a smile. He was very knowledgable. As far as the A/C not working, he said there was a bad capacitor that he was going to replace to see if that fixed the problem which it did. He also mentioned that the contactor was currently functioning but looking worn so I asked him to replace that as well. I also asked to sign up for a maintenance agreement with them so that they could check our unit twice a year to make sure all is functioning properly. I appreciated the wonderful customer service I received from the people I worked with from this company as well as the expertise of the technician. I was also very grateful that they were able to come out so quickly. I will definitely use this company again.

Ron arrived around 7:30 PM and noted a fairly simple problem to solve; which he did resolve in about 10 minutes. However he stayed for an additional 15 minutes to make sure the cooling system was working properly before he left. As we had Day and Night perform service on the unit as part of an overall check last month, he did not charge me for the service call or time. What a nice gesture and a real measure of meeting the needs of a customer in an extraordinary fashion. I will continue to use Day and Noght for all my heating and air conditioning needs. My daughter, who is 7 months pregnant was house sitting for me while I was vacationing on the east coast for the month of June. I received a phone call from her last night advising me that the A/C was blowing hot air and it was 88 degrees inside the house. I looked on Angie's List for an an A/C company that would respond for a service call after hours and after looking at the reviews selected Day & Night Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing. I called their emergency service line and the operator took my info and told me that a technician would call me back in a few minutes. A short time later I received a from the tech and told him my problem. He stated that he was on a service call and would respond to my residence as soon as he finished his present call. He advised that he would be at my residence within the hour. My daughter called me about 45 minutes later and advised that the technician had arrived and was checking the A/C unit. A few minutes later I received a text from my daughter and she told me that the tech stated that one of the outside lines had "frozen" and that he was going to check a few things to determine the cause. About 15 minutes later I received a call from the tech and he advised that the checked everything and determined that the unit was very low on freon and that it needed to be recharged. The tech recharged the unit and the problem was fixed. I was very happy with the quick response and excellent service that was provided. Not only would I use Night & Day again, I am going to leave the company that had been servicing my A/C unit and go with Night & Day.

My Upstairs AC was blowing warm air off and on...its was running and showing 87 degrees! Called for Service on Tuesday afternoon and was able to get a next day appt in the a.m. I was given a 930-11 am range...and that morning at 845 I received a call stating that CJ would arrive between 10-11...he actually arrived at 915...took less than an hour to diagnose and repair burnt wires. CJ was great, friendly and professional. It was great, gave recommendations for future self maintenance and there was even a service coupon offer that I used which helped to cut costs! Set our minds at ease for a 'cool' summer/

On a Friday afternoon on a 100 degree day, my A/C went out. I called my normal service, and they said they could send someone on Monday. (Great!) I consulted Angie's List, and called Day & Night A/C Service. The customer service person was very responsive and polite and let me know that an extra charge for emergency service would be applied and explained all the charges that the call might entail. She gave me an ETA of an hour or so. In less than 30 minutes, CJ, the technician called and showed up at my house. He was able to troubleshoot the problem and fix it very quickly. I had A/C again in less than 30 minutes after he arrived. He also was able to install a new thermostat that I had been trying to install on my own. He was without a doubt the most professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable service person I have ever had come to my home. Even with the Emergency charge, the price was very reasonable. It is quite possible Day & Night saved my marriage with this quick excellent service call! I became a hero because these folks made me look good. I would give the highest possible recommendation to both CJ and Day & Night.

We returned home from being out of the country for two weeks to find the house was 90 degrees and the air conditioning was not working. It was 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. We got Day & Night's name from Angie's List and called. The call was answered by an answering service that said they would give our information to a technician. Within ten minutes the technician called. He said he could come within an hour. He showed up 45 minutes later. He determined that an automatic cutoff switch had been activated and, after some discussion, we determined that in our absence a worker we had do some work in the home had probably set the thermostat too low for continued use in temperatures that had increased substantially during the latter part of our absence. The technician promptly restored the air conditioning and in the process checked the coolant, the electrical draw and other functions and reported they were all normal. There was no attempt to upsell us or to sell us something we did not need. The technician was dressed professionally, was pleasant and courteous, and explained to us what he did and why he did it. He said when we called that the charge would be $79.00 for the service call plus any extra charges incurred for the repairs. The charge was $79.00. I do not know how this compares to what other companies might have charged us, but it seemed fair to me for someone to come on an hour's notice at 6 o'clock on a Saturday night in 100 degree plus weather. I was very satisfied and would use this company again.
