That was an excellent performance. They are just unbelievable. I would definitely use those people again and again. He was very personable. He walked me through the process. I had no questions when he was done. He was so thorough. He was just completely thorough. Most people just don't like that. You have to ask questions. He was offering the answers. He explained to me how everything worked, explained to me what he would be doing, exactly where and what rooms he would be in and if I had any problems with that. He was just really good. The finish product is outstanding. For price, I would say "A" because I compared them to other plumbing companies and I had even asked him. I said, "How could you go so much lower?" He said,"Well we don't advertise on TV commercial. Things like that costs money." That's why I went with them. They were the lowest.

I purchased another coupon to do the work. I spoke with the company and explained it and they were fabulous.

Jeff o came out to give us a quote. He gave us good advice on the alternatives agreed with my own internet research. Quoted 1600 total. He looked at our water heater after I asked him question. We had replaced it with a new one about two years ago. Benjamin Franklin had connected galvanized steel flex hose to copper inlets. That is a big no no. Our connection already were coroted. He agreed to replace them for no additional charge. The job was completed by him and works great.

Our AC unit stopped working at 9:00 p.m. one night. Since we live in Phoenix, we had to have it repaired ASAP. We called another company I found on Angie's List that provided 24 hour service, but their techs were all busy and couldn't come out that night. They said would have their tech call in the a.m. to finalize a time they could stop by the next day so we made arrangements to stay the night elsewhere. I never heard from them, so I got back on Angie's List to find another company. I called Day & Night and made an appointment for later that afternoon. When I got home from work, Manny was there waiting for me. He was personable and friendly. He went through the process of ruling out possible issues and then found that it was the capacitor. He didn't have the exact one we needed in the truck but told me he could come back but it would cost another service call. However as another option, he said he could use two that he said when combined were essentially the same as the one I needed. So rather than spending the additional money for another service call, I opted to go with that. He did say he was not sure how long the new one(s) would last, which was a little discouraging but so far, but so good.

Appt. was scheduled same day and Manny arrived right on time. Extremely professional and courteous. Fully explained problem and repair options. Would highly recommend this company. Have lived in this house almost 22 years and have had different companies out for various repairs and this was definitely one of the most professional and customer service oriented.

Amazing service call. The plumber is very knowledgeable and personable. He explained every step of his process of examining our plumbing issues with the kitchen sink, faucet and disposal unit. He advised that the disposal unit was under warranty and is attempting to secure a replacement under warranty at no charge. We do not have our original paperwork so we are working through a serial number and code on the unit. He will advise us today if this can be done. We got a quote to replace it and faucet as we decide. Fair, knowledgeable and very professional. We will definitely use this company again.

Victor was a very nice guy and very professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. He was also extremely nice to my 2 year old daughter who kept getting in his way to "help."

Company was timely setting up an appt, came on time, Justin was personable and professional and a pleasure. If you have an unlimited budget, call these guys, you'll be happy with both the service and the work. If, however, unexpected plumbing repair costs can break your budget, look elsewhere, you can do much better. The $25 "deal" on offer through Angie's just puts you on the hook with this company and their charges come from the high end of the price scale. Lesson learned.

The job, which was made more difficult by mismatched equipment that had been installed in our house several years ago, was handled smoothly and without a hitch. Every employee treated us like it was their company, not like they were employees.

Initially it was determined a week earlier, that the thermocouple needed to be replaced. After that was done by Day & night Tech, the water heater stopped working again. Kary, the office manager, scheduled Justin Harrah, a plumber, to come out as soon as I received the gas valve from the manufacturer. The part was under warranty. I called Kary on Sat. morning @ 11am. She scheduled Mr. Harrah to come out by 3pm. She told me, because of the troubles, there would not be a weekend rate for the repair. At 2:45 Mr. Harrah arrived and by 3:10 the valve was installed & working perfectly. Mr. Harrah then waited an additional 20 min. to make sure it was working properly. The attention to detail by both Kary & Justin was outstanding & far surpassed expectations. These professionals are responsible for a great experience in a difficult situation. As a result, I will not hesitate to use Day & Night Plumbing again.

After research, we decided upon two Trane HVAC systems and got bids from 3 different HVAC contractors. We selected Day and Night because of their reviews on Angie's List and because they were the sole HVAC contractor for Lowes where we bought the two systems. We had to buy two complete systems as our home was 2,700 sq. ft and we wanted to have the same size units as the two that were replaced. We had decided upon 15 SEER units and no one tried to sell us a more expensive system. We added two Clean Effects electronic air filters to the systems. The two installers from Day and Night were Fernando and Robby. They worked well as a team and completed the removal of the 2 old systems and installation of the two new ones in two days. Whenever there was an issue, they coordinated with me. I was very impressed with the quality of their work and how well they cleaned up afterwards. During the installation, quality control specialists from Lowes and Day and Night visited our home to make sure we were satisfied with the work. A week after the job was completed, Ricky, another specialist from Day and Night came and went over the installation very carefully and made some minor adjustments. This was an expensive project and we feel we made the right choice on the systems and the HVAC company. There were no surprises and my wife and I are very satisfied and recommend Day and Night without qualifications.

They were quick to respond to my inquiry through AL. Carrie messaged me with a very thorough response and when I spoke with her by phone she was very professional and helpful. They came out the next day--both the A/C repair person and plumber--and did the repairs quickly and thoroughly. My husband was really impressed with their professional skills, customer service and how they went above and beyond checking out multiple areas of our new home and giving advice. We would definitely use them again!

Day & Night Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing were terrific. In conversation as soon as we realized my home warranty would cover the services I needed they immediately advised me to check with the home warranty before using their company and perhaps paying twice. I appreciate and respect that honesty and advice.

I needed the work done in about 3 weeks. They reached out to me even though I indicated that I would give them a call. They were fine on the phone though. I hope to have the work completed within a month.

Leann was our first contact and she has the personality and customer focus of a great liaison. Keep in mind this was on the weekend, temperatures over 100 degrees. You can hardly get a decent service rep under those circumstances. But she sent us Rickey Rodriquez who was affable, considerate, respectful and more competent than any AC tech we've ever had in 12 years that we have lived here. He got the AZ back on and earned a new customer. It looks like Day and Night has good service figured out.

UPDATE 07/30/2014: I contacted Day and Night Air Conditioning about receiving a refund for the service call because of my experience. I spoke to Mike the General Manager. Mike was very open and genuinely interested in my experience. Mike shared with me that it did appear that my experience was a series of mis-steps which they take very seriously. After talking with Mike, I realized that perhaps my experience was "one of those things" that sometimes happens and is not consistent with their overall service quailty. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was so excited to fine them on Angie's list only to receive poor service. I was calling for pricing on the installation of a new air conditioning unit. They said that they would have to come out and do a service call prior to providing a quote. I really just wanted an estimate so I could compare pricing. I went ahead and scheduled the service call. A service technician came out and completed a diagnostic and told me what I already knew. The compressor was bad and I needed a new AC. He charged me $ 79.00 and then said he would need to have a "Compfort Specialist" call me to come out and provide a quote for new system. He called the office right then and we scheduled an appointment for the next day at 5 p.m. A Comfort Specialist by the name of Mike calls me early in the day of the day of my appointment to say he was running a head of schedule and could he come by earlier. I let him know I could not make it until 5 p.m. I suggested that he could go by the house and take a look at the air conditioning since he knew my neighborhood. He said he would do that and email me an estimate. I never heard from Mike again nor did I receive an estimate via email.

Bottom Line: The best vendor I have ever worked with. Period. More Details: I initially called because a unit at my rental was out and the recommendation from another contractor was to replace the compressor and air handler. We planned to have our other unit replaced soon anyway so decided to bid them both out. From my first call and onward, the office staff were very responsive and helpful. They stayed in constant communication with the tenant and me (which was more challenging as I am out of state) throughout. I never needed to call on my own - they were always proactive in reaching out for the next steps or to let me know the status. They scheduled an appointment for Brian to inspect the units and provide a bid. Brian is really knowledgeable, and listens. He wasn't at all pushy, but guided me to the setup I'd be happy with. I'm a huge researcher - I read every detail from the Trane site on the units, watched the videos, etc. Brian was always spot on with his vendor/unit answers and provided better context for my situation. He really knows what he sells and how to create the optimal setup. Day and Night's bid was competitive with others, but I liked the setup Brian recommended better, and my experience to that point with Day and Night, so I decided to move forward with them. They quickly scheduled an install - Everything went perfect and according to plan. Day and Night seems to be unique in that they don't actually charge until the job is complete. Not just complete as in installed, but they wait after the installation, do a final inspection and only then charge you. I think that says a lot about how they do business. I met them for the final inspection a few weeks later and I was really impressed with the quality and attention to detail. The tenant had noticed one unit was cycling too much, they quickly diagnosed, had the part overnighted and fixed right away. This was really a pleasant experience, from start to finish. I can't recommend Day and Night (and Brian!) enough. The only hiccup was that I used their recommendation for a contractor (Shane Shields) to widen an interior door where one of the air handlers was installed. I've never seen such poor results and the issue is still not resolved. It is not Day and Night's responsibility (they attempted to pressure Shane for resolution), so I don't fault them, but it happened so I'm noting it.

They showed up on time and changed that really fast and that was done in a day. The pricing was excellent.

The experience went as well as expected. Didn't plan on spending that much but it had to be taken care. Manny was service tech. and he was on time and professional. He explained all the he was doing and took pictures of my attic that needed attention. He suggested that i could do it but i didn't have the tools to do it so he did it.

When the house was built by Classic Stellar in 1993, they cut a lot of corners and the HVAC subcontractor installed an undersized heatpump. Furthermore, the flexible duct work used to bring cold air to the opposite side of the house (the master bedroom) was (a) undersized, (b) not insulated and (c) hung in a haphazard fashion, allowing many kinks and right turns to impede the flow of cool air. In order to get the bedroom a little cooler for sleeping at night, we really wasted a lot of energy in the rest of the house. We had several companies come to give us bids. One I turned down immediately because he just wanted to sell his special and didn't even bother to inspect the previous setup. Of all the competing companies, I felt that Day & Night's service techs worked hardest to crawl around in the attic to come up with a plan specifically designed for our unique situation. I could have saved a little money with someone else, but I believe what we got will save us money in the long run. Some of the higher cost was due to our adding a Honeywell TruSteam humidifier to the system. There was a little confusion because the first thermostat they installed had to be replaced with one made specifically for the humidifier. There were some error messages which none of their techs could explain. To the service manager's credit, when I complained, he got a regional manager for Honeywell to come to the house with two of the service techs. He basically was teaching them, and told me he would set up some training for all the Day and Night techs to educate them about the product. All our questions were satisfactorily answered. It has been running for about five weeks now, and is a big improvement. We can easily get the temperature in the bedroom down to a comfortable temperature for sleeping without wasting energy. The humdifier works well also. Before the monsoon season, when humidity levels were single digits, our pet cats were no longer afraid to be petted by us for fear of getting shocked. Dry skin is a real problem for my wife, and she noticed an immediate improvement. We also had no problem with the financing, as Day & Night processed the application for a Home Improvement credit card from Wells Fargo for us.

I can't say anything negative about the experience. It went fantastic from the first call, to the temporary fix, to the new AC selection, to the installation. I used these guys previously on a rental, and was also happy with their expertise. I will definitely use them again. I don't know how these guys, in the Summer heat can do such a fantastic job, but they did.

Of course, my air conditioner started to lose ccoling power on the hottest day of the year so far, so I and my family were somewhat desperate. I found Day and Night on Angie's List and was impressed with their high rating and even checked BBB. I was so disappointed for their tactics. After the technician left, I waited for several hours from their salesman to call. When he finally did, the price quote was over $7500 and it would take 2 weeks to get the unit replaced. They did offer to come over the next day and replace my unit with a used one until the new unit came in. Based on that, I called another A/C company who came over within an hour, evaluated the problem, and repaired the broken line. The evaluation was completely different, they stated the A/C unit was in good shape, a high efficiency unit, and should last many more years. I asked how much it would be to replace the unit and their quote less than half the price of Day and Night. I will never call Day and Night again.
