Outstanding experience from beginning to end. I had originally scheduled one of Angie's Deals for a $38 water heater drain and plumbing inspection. The company contacted me right away and scheduled the service. The plumber, Michael P. called me right before his arrival to give me a heads up. He arrived on time and was very professional. He provided the service I had requested and paid for and I was very impressed with how thorough he was and the detailed explanations he provided me with. My water heater was nearly 10 years old, and at the end of Mike's inspection I decided to have him replace my water heater. He did that the same afternoon and did an excellent job on the installation. The service from this company is really high-quality and professional. I will not hesitate to use them for other plumbing needs I have, and highly recommend them to anyone. Well done!

Jeff was there within 15 minutes as he had just completed a call in the area. He is friendly, easy to talk to and a master plumber.

While on the roof, Nick noticed that there was insulation on the condenser coils AND that there was a hose bib gas leak. Yikes! He immediately called Southwest Gas. Then Nick crawled through our extremely small attic to search for a duct leak. Sure enough, a joint had come loose and was sucking in insulation. He triple secured that leak, and crawled out to meet the SW Gas repairman who replaced the failed gas hose bib. Nick cleaned the condenser coils and an interior permanent filter, closed everything up and was on his way. We're VERY glad we called Day & Night for routine maintenance, otherwise we might not have discovered all these other issues until it was too late.

From the very beginning, the sales representative (Marc) was excellent. He explained all my options and prices so that I could make the right decision for which system to buy. The installers (John and Josh) were prompt, professional and the installation went smoothly, as explained by Marc, and looks absolutely fabulous. We got to live with the system for almost two weeks before Jesse showed up to make sure the installation was up to the companies standards and to perform final tests and adjustments (none were needed). That is when I was required to pay the bill (after I was completely satisfied). What a great job! This definitely adds value to my home.

We have used Day and Night for 4 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. So when I decided to upgrade my air conditioning units I had no hesitancy in calling them. I did get multiple bids and they were competitive - but my good experience with them in the past tipped the scales in their favor for value. The work started on time (6:00AM) and they did one unit the first day and the second unit the second. The work team was well organized including the scheduling of the crane to lift the old outside units out of our backyard and lift in the new ones. At the end of both days when the sheet metal and old equipment had been removed and set at the curb, a truck came by and carried it all away - perfectly timed, no scrap or trash at the curb at the end of the day. The sheetrock around the scuttle holes had to be cut back a little to get the new units in the attic. As Day and Night finished the second day, the sheetrock repair firm called me to schedule a time to come and repair the scuttle holes - in the contract with Day and Night. Repairs were well done. About a week later, Day and Night came by to do the "final touch" - check to make sure everything was working according to specification; it was. The whole project was well planned, and expertly orchestrated. Because of my previous experience with Day and Night my expectations were high; they did not disappoint.

Mike was my plumber & since this happened while I was at work on 5/13/2015, he came out early before his other scheduled appointment's. I appreciated that since I had no water. He showed up on time & was very professional, he explained what had happened & what was needed to make the repair. Mike also gave me good pricing for the other things that I had done, he helped move boxes & was very polite & completed the job nicely. I need some other plumbing jobs that need to be done & will definitely be calling him back. I found him to be honest & trustworthy. I would recommend this company to my friends & family. Thanks again Mike for coming out so early to get me back up & running so I can go to work on time.

I got quotes from two AC repair companies and they both recommended the same repair work and both gave me the same price quote, but the Day and Night tech was much more professional and informative. Once I was ready to have the work done, they were prompt and took care of business. I recommend them and would use them again. I only put a B for responsiveness because I had to call a few times to resolve a billing issue, but once we talked the discrepancy was resolved immediately.

Have been using Day & Night for our AC/Heating and plumbing services since we relocated to Phoenix almost 3 years ago. All of their techs are professional and provide outstanding service. The AC unit in our home is over 15 years old and they have been able to keep it running efficiently since we moved into this home. Their service plan includes two visits annually. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and cost effective vendor.

I feel like I was overcharged. The brochure was for a March 16 point inspection for $59. I called and they said it would be late April before they could come out because of the response but it would still be $59. I have 2 AC units so they charged me $118. They also charged me for 1 LB of 410 refrigerant @ $174.00. I did a search and found this from Angies "ask": " In bulk (25 or 100 lb canisters) currently runs from about $3-10/lb on the low end to as much as $40/lb depending on where you buy it, and HVAC contractors charge customers typically from $25-70/lb. Even though it is less than half the price in bulb as Freon (R22). The tech also said one fan motor was on it's last legs. He said the charge would be $653.66 for the motor installed. I decided to wait and check out what I would pay for the same motor. I was able to find the motor on line for $120-160. Replacing the motor requires removal of the screws that hold the top shroud (5-6 screws) and four nuts holding the motor to the shroud. Unplug the cable connector and replace. This wouldn't take more than 45 minutes for a reasonably competent tech. Their cost $10/LB for 410. My cost $174. You do the math.

A+++! I have been an Angie's List subscriber for years and have always appreciated other consumer's reviews. This is only the second review I have ever written in my life and well worth the time. Day & Night is one of the most professional, courteous and reliable companies I have worked with in years! Scheduling was a breeze! Ron came out and thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done. He was also honest and presented all of my options in an effort to fit within my budget. I truly respect someone who is skilled at their craft and still human enough not to try to take you to the bank! I will recommend Night & Day to everyone I know and Ron will be our tech for life!

It went real smooth. It was excellent. I found them 37 years ago. Their price is also very fair.

Jeff O was punctual, professional, and efficient. It was a small job, but as usual, Jeff took the time to provide information about my outdoor plumbing that I was unaware of, but grateful to have been educated about it.

From beginning to end our experience was great. Brian Kearley, our sales rep. was so friendly and explained everything to me. The price was great and the units are beautiful and working great. The install techs were very clean to the point of sweeping my landscaping rocks. They installed to air handlers, one upstairs and one downstairs so they had run of my entire house and it was like they were never there. Nick our final contact, did the final walk thru yesterday and he too was great. Overall I have been very happy with how smooth, quick, professional and easy everyone at Day & has been to work with.

GREAT!! very professional and results beyond expectations. I have major duct leakage to attic. They reduced that to very minimal. I am no longer cooling the hot Arizona outdoors. Highly recommend this process.

Our air conditioning went out suddenly on the first day of the year that was over 90 degrees, which just happened to be a Saturday. After calling another major HVAC business and getting nothing but claims of 24 hour service with no one who wanted to help me get a technician to my house that day, I found Day & Night and they had someone out to my house within a couple of hours. Their technician Kent came to our house and was quick to find the problem. He explain the issues in detail with my husband and even showed him where things went wrong. He was thorough, professional, and knowledgeable about what he was doing. Kent didn't try to blow through the job, even though it was taking up time on his Saturday evening. From the phone service to the technician, everyone treated us courteously and their response time was faster than we expected. I would definitely use them again!

Day & Night has provided excellent service for us for over 25 years. Their service personnel are professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their service model should be a model for others. We will continue to be their customers for as long as we live in Phoenix.

Fantastic! I have used Day and Night for 9 plumbing jobs since February, 2013, when I responded to a deal for toilet installation on the list. Most of my experience is with Jeff (although Brad did save me from my own devices when I accidently ran a screw into a copper pipe!) I request Jeff because of his professionalism; he is knowledgeable, courteous, has a pleasant personality and he performs quaility work in a timely manner. I really appreciate that he leaves the work area as clean if not cleaner than when he started. Some of the jobs were difficult, like cutting into the block wall to replace the sink drain; another job entailed replacing the vent stack. He is amazing! The office personell work hard to get a plumber out to you....no matter what time of the day or night (first hand experience!) and haven't yet failed to call back as promised.They have helped prevent a few disasters! If someone I know needs a plumber, I tell them to call Day and Night. Just plain great!

A long time neighbor called and asked for advice regarding a blockage in her sewer line that was backing up into the tub and shower as well as the laundry room where the water heater was located. The water heater was 7-8 years old and had quite a bit of corrosion on the water lines, along with rust along the side.She asked if I knew a reliable plumber. Since I had previously had good experiences with Day & Night Plumbing I referred this company to check out her sewer line and water heater. They also agreed to honor the Angie's List big deal for her. Jesse, the technician, was extremely thorough finding the blockage and clearing it. He also checked the water heater and said it was not leaking but getting old-no pressure at all to replace it immediately. My neighbor however decided to go ahead and replace it. She was extremely happy with the work and I will continue to recommend Day & Night just as in the past. Jesse was knowledgeable, friendly, customer-oriented and did a great job!

It was a fantastic experience. Never needing a plumber at this residence, I used Angie's list to locate a well reguarded service provider. I called one who was near my house but they were unable to assist for 4 days. I then contacted Day & Night and they were able to see me in about an hour. The 2 women at the office were very helpful and professional. When Jesse the serviceman arrived I experienced complete professionalism. Jesse not only solved the problem, but he was extremely professional and courteous throughout the process. He did his very best to minimize the damage to my exterior and interior walls. In addition, he did a great job cleaning up the mess he had to create. Jesse was really great! Again, overall a very satisfying experience. I would certainly use Day & Night again and highly recommend them. As a note on my "Price" rating of a 'B': not having to use a plumber in the past, I don't have any perspective on what the price should be. Since I had to have the problem solved very quickly, I didn't have the luxury of seeking quotes. It could have been a very fair and reasonable price, but again I don't have a good perspective and don't want to mislead.

We were sold a crappy product, which seemingly will cost more in service and repairs then the actual cost of the unit. We chose Day & Night because we wanted to support local business in our area. However, we are cutting our losses now and will be purchasing a new unit from another company that doesn?t sell sub par products and service. We bought a brand new air conditioner from Day & Night Air about 3 years ago and just had our 2nd service call in a year (and note: from Aug 2013 to Oct 2014 the house pretty much sat empty with little to no use of this unit). The first service call a year ago (for a 2 year old air conditioner) was for a leaking coil (quoted $1500), which just happened to be 3 months outside of the manufacturers warranty. The most recent service call we were quoted $1200 for a cracked refrigerant line, which was caused due to vibration. Seeing as how we don?t really have earthquakes in AZ and considering there was minimal use of the unit over the past year, I suspect the air conditioner wasn?t properly secured after the first service call. When we purchased the unit, we were not looking for the least expensive unit. Just the opposite. We specifically requested a good solid unit that we could count on and would be able to grow into with any additions we were going to make to the house. We purchased a larger unit than we needed. On the second service call, the service guy called the unit ?a crappy unit? even before he opened it up. We won?t be recommending Day & Night to anyone.

Very thorough, Mannie spent a lot of time on searching for the problem, never easy when fault is intermittent. Seems to have fixed it. Altogether very professional and competent.

The ladies at the office were very helpful and courteous. They set us up with an appointment the same day. After the repairs, they were quick to get us the receipt. The technician, Jesse, exceeded our expectations repairing the toilet tank problem. He explained what was wrong in detail, what the options were, and the best course of action to take, while explaining the most cost effective ways for the repair. He was very courteous and respectful. He completed the repairs very quickly. Overall, very happy with this company.

We like them. I didn't buy deals from them but we have their maintenance plan. We decided to keep them and actually do more work sort of renovation work in one of our rooms. They are experts in their field. We never had any problem; if we have they come out very responsive and very quick. They are a little pricey but I think you get what you pay for. Also the materials are very expensive. It took them half a day for our four units. They spend a lot of time doing it for you. They take their time not rushing through.

It turned out pretty good. Their salesman was really knowledgeable. He presented a lot of options. He knew the area and knew what works here in Arizona. Even though it was a little more expensive, the culmination of the experience, the fact that the company has been around for a while and is fairly large here so I knew that it will be around for a while. The guys who came for installation were extremely professional. They came in, protected the flooring in the house before replacing the units. They did the work in less than a day. They walked me through how the stuff worked. The salesman came out and asked me if there were any problems after I had used it for about 10 days. They answered few questions I had. It was a pretty good deal for me and it was a good experience. It was worth it.

They came and gave me an estimate it was 200.00 cheaper than the other company they helped to get the financing and walked me through the application. They came on the 16th (a holiday) installed the unit were great with my 4 yr old grandson who was entranced by the giant crane and all the debris lol. Two days later my water heater went out. **sigh** they were there within 2 days (my schedule) Jeff installed the water heater and went above and beyond fixing my heater shed door so it doesn't slam against the gas thingy. Mike and Kasey came today to sign off on the final paperwork for the heat pump and to make sure all the work had been done properly. When I expressed some concern about leakage they both told me to call Day and Night if when it rained there were any problems. Day and Night was recommended to me by sister and (please no more surprises) I would use them again and will recommend them.
