Description of Work: I had two new HVAC systems installed. It took an entire day for each system. It was very hot at the time, and I had at least one system working each day of installation so that it wouldn't be unbearably hot in the house. They were very clean, and laid runners so that the floors remained clean. They were punctual and professional. One comment for improvement would be that the front door was often left open, and I closed it several times when I passed by. When it's 110+ outside and the AC unit is being installed, you want the inside to remain as cool as possible. The service was consistently good, from working with Mike in Sales, to Hector for installation. I can comfortably recommend them to others.

Description of Work: My A/C died during the miserable Phoenix heat. When my regular A/C people said they couldn't make it out for "a couple days," I called a top-rated Angie's List option. After some fiddling with detectors and gauges, the technician told me that my coils had a "bad leak" and, that my unit, which normally holds 8 lbs of freon was "almost empty" and, required a super-expensive kind of freon that was going to cost me over $100 a pound. They guestimated a high cost of replacing the coils and, suggested that replacing the entire unit was a better option. A sales person arrived shortly after that and, provided estimates for replacing the whole unit. Of course, the super-expensive freon would be free if I signed a contract for a new unit. | |Since I had managed to thaw the system out and, get it limping along enough to keep the house around 85F on my own, I decided to hold off and, let my normal A/C people take a look. They came out the next day and, determined that there were no significant leaks, it was down about a pound of freon and, that the required freon was about $60/pound. It has been running great for the two months since then. | |I understand that there can be differences of opinion between professionals on things but, there seems to have been some combination of incompetence, mendacity and/or gouging here.

Description of Work: They replaced our heating/ac unit. They provided exceptional service throughout the process. I appreciated that Mike did not try to hard sell or up sell us during the process. They even came down on price and beat a comparable bid we received, without question. The install itself was flawless and completed quicker than we were told to expect. We are very happy with our new system and the quality of the install. It is also impressive that we didn't pay a dime until about two weeks after our new system had been installed. A walkthrough and inspection of the new system was completed, some small adjustments were made and we handed over the check at that point. Who does that today?
