Jason arrived a few minutes before our scheduled appointment, which was great for me. He identified himself and handed me two business cards before he entered. I appreciate that level of security. He also fitted two booties over his shoes before he stepped onto my carpeting. I described the primary problem (the leak I suspected was in the wall between the bathtub/shower and the front hall) as well as the leak I was unable to find under my kitchen sink that was causing a few cleaning product bottles and cans to leave rust rings on the cabinet floor. Jason first tested the hall wall for moisture and found none, but he did find some in the adjacent carpeting, which suggested that one of my cats has been spraying that area (the carpet is dark gold, so I couldn't see the stains). Just to be sure, though, Jason cut a small hole in the wall and tested the space for moisture electronically and visually and found no sign of moisture or mold. He carefully replaced the piece he'd cut out of the wall and offered to refer me to someone who could repair the drywall. He then removed a few items from under the kitchen sink and searched carefully for a leak. He eventually found it after running the water and disposal, and then filling the sink and allowing a large amount of water to drain quickly. He explained what the problem was and how he would solve it. The repair itself took about five minutes. He then tested the connection several times until he was sure there was no longer a leak. He replaced the items he'd removed from the cabinet, cleaned up after himself, and thanked me. He asked if I had any other problems I wanted him to look at. He said to call him at the number on his card if I ever had a problem. He said that the Big Deal I'd bought up front from Angie's List ($89 for two hours of licensed plumbing service) more than paid for the service call and repairs, so there was no additional out-of-pocket expense. Great deal, great service!

The appointment was scheduled to accommodate my schedule. Randy showed up right on time, listened to what I needed, and got right to work looking the situation over. He was dressed neatly, and was very cordial and polite. I had checked out prices on the stems for the tubs, because I wanted an average retail price, to be able to determine if Day & Night would be giving me a fair price. I had been told by the establishment, where I checked prices, to not let anyone try to talk to me into replacing the whole faucet, when all they needed were the stems. Randy did not try to do that, and provided satisfactory prices for the parts. He changed the stems in the tubs, and they now work wonderfully. He changed the flapper in the toilet, which had totally disintegrated. I asked him to also replace the rest of the toilet guts, since they were slightly corroded, and to check the valves on the water lines, since they had not been turned since they were installed 10 years ago. He completed all work in a good time frame, and even lowered the part prices a little for me, when I asked if it was possible. Later that day, we discovered that the toilet was doing a bizarre thing - it was flushing twice. Randy and I had watched the toilet flushing from inside the tank, and you could not tell it was malfunctioning from there. I called Day & Night to explain the problem. They agreed that was extremely bizarre. We scheduled a time for Randy to come back and again he was very prompt. He said he had never encountered a toilet doing this, and went right to work diagnosing the problem, and fixing it. He changed the flap, which made no difference. He made some adjustments and thought it was fixed. However, again he watched it flush from inside the tank. I discovered before he left that the problem had not been fixed, because I flushed it and watched the bowl. It was still flushing twice, which you couldn't tell from watching inside the tank. He ended up adjusting the water flow to the tank, and that alleviated the problem. I feel I received good service from this company and would call on them again. The reason I gave an overall rating of B was because of them having to make the return visit, and if I had not checked to make sure the toilet was flushing correctly, it would have required another return visit.

They were prompt and courteous. They were very reasonably priced.

Went well. Plumber had not had to use a new toilet footprint but he cut the carpet and made it look good. Said I got an upgrade on the flusher so it would save water.. I was very pleased.

We have had really good luck with them. They have been very honest, and they have been a lot cheaper and reasonable than people that we have used before. We have also recommended and use them at our church. We paid $100 for the whole thing including checking everything to replacing the part and everything. It was really quite reasonable. We have been very fortunate with the service we have had from them. We had a huge unit replaced and we paid way upward of $200 for the replacement, the part, the visit, and everything. Their quality was very good. We could have just had excellent luck with the person that came out. The service we had from the guy who came out was excellent. They were right here when they were supposed to be and he was very diligent in doing his work. He actually knew what he was doing. I would use him again and I am about ready to call him.

Everything went well and it took much less time than I expected. The plumber explained that even though he didn't take 2 hours, I still saved money with the coupon because the labor for the disposal alone would have been more than $89. I was satisfied and will use them again.

I had a very positive experience with Randy from Day and Night! I signed up for one of the Angie's List "Big Deals" that I'm always getting (E-mail), for 2-hrs of plumbing for $89. This is the first time I've signed up for one of these, so I wasn't sure how it would go (eg maybe get "nickeled and dimed" for extra costs, maybe get you on "fine print," etc., but, I have to say, the deal was 100% as advertised and I'm extremely pleased with the value and the service that Randy provided. Specifically, Randy was ~ 10 mins early (punctual), worked the full 2 hours, got everything on my list done (even finished a little early, but I sent him on his way anyway, since so pleased with his work), was polite, professional, and friendly, wore booties in the house to keep the floor clean, etc. For the sink drains, they're much better than they were, but still a little slow, which is why I didn't give the best score for "quality." But Randy is the 2nd AL plumber I've had work on these sinks, and he did much better than the 1st one. We discussed everything that he had done, and I agreed that he did everything reasonably possible, so maybe the original plumbing is just marginal (poor vent design or something). Anyway, overall, I can give Randy of Day & Night Plumbing my highest endorsement!

They are very efficient and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with the services provided and plan to use them again in the future.

Entire process went excellent. Did everything they said they would. Showed up on time, had the best price by far, and did an excellent job.

Delightful personality and professionalism and directed us to the original builder to determine where shutoff was for our ice-maker, which was the reason for the call. In order to use the time allotted, we had him install new flush valves in 4 of 5 baths, which he did well. Left with a smile on all faces....

Much to my surprise D&N honored the remaining five years of warranty (we had a ten year parts AND labor warranty) and then provided very capable and competitive servicing of our old A/C for the next two years. When it was time to replace the system D&N was at the top of our list of 4 bidders. This process began with a very competent and pleasant salesman, Mike. Not only did Mike know what he was talking about but he worked issues between the owner "Jeff" and me to get me the very best system at a very competitive price (I researched this to death). Mike's hard work, and Jeff's willingness to work with me, clinched the deal for D&N. The ladies in the office actually knew who I was when I called and they were knowledgeable and flexible as they helped me schedule the install. Next, Hector came out to do the final assessment, measurements and preparations. I have to admit I was really taken by how knowledgeable, extensive and detailed Hector was. He inspected every nook and cranny of my attic, rooms, venting, registers ..... "EVERYTHING". He even pointed out that the original home builder did not install proper venting and insulation. Sure enough, as Hector took time to walk down the street with me we could see that the other homes on my street DID have proper venting (gable vents on both ends ...etc.) but that mine did not. I know what your thinking but D&N does NOT do roof work. I would have to deal with this myself. I asked D&N if they could recommend a roofer but was told they are not in the roofing business. I pleated with D&N to assist me here as I did not want to have to go through the whole researching/quoting/selection process for a roofer on top of their job. Here is what separates good companies from "excellent" or real POH companies. D&N helped me out with a roofer they were familiar with, scheduled the roofer to come at the same day as the A/C install, checked on the new venting installed by the roofer (7 T-Vents) and verified that rodent screens we all in place and tight. D&N then just added the roofing cost to the total bill WITH NO MARKUP ( I know as I got the quote from the roofer himself when he came out to bid the job!). Really - who does this for customers? D&N that's who! They probably don't like the fact that I'm telling you all this as no company is about helping customers with work "other" than what they are in business for. But by my telling you this you can begin to understand what it's like to work with an off-the-chart, capable, honest and good willed company. The "whole" system went in on schedule - in a day - and was then tested, balanced and finely tuned by a NATE certified technician, Ron. BTW - Be sure that ANYONE selling or servicing your A/C is NATE certified. To top it all off D&N even filled out all of the Trane rebate & warranty and SRP (electric company) credit forms for monies that will come back to us. The only other thing that Day and Night Air Conditioning could have done would be to have done all this for free. Seriously, I took the time to write all this because they took the time to take such very good care of us! Good luck trying to find a better company to deal with on your A/C needs. Due to inferior parts, Jason was not able to finish the job on the 1st visit. We had paid for 2 hours of service. So Jason and Day & Night scheduled a second visit and unfortunately the sink was broke, so he told us to return it and he would come back the next day, which was a Saturday. He was on time and got the job done fast. There was no mess to clean up and he even took the time to show me how to clean the drains. Very professional service.

I received quotes from 4 other companies and they price matched the lowest one, so they walk the talk with their price guarantee. I didn't necessarily choose them because it was the lowest price, there were many factors involved including their previous history and reviews I'd read. My complaints are very minor and have nothing to do with functionality or longevity of the systems installed, nor does it factor into my overall ratings. In all fairness I didn't contact D&A with my concerns because they were minor, but am sure they would have made it right had I done so. I didn't discover this until months later but the attic areas where the air handlers were installed were left in a bit of a mess: Blown in insulation was matted down which left some water pipes exposed, cut zip ties, wires, cut outs from metal duct work, etc were left behind, one flex duct stretched a little too much came disconnected at a splice point and I had to reconnect. It was extremely hot in the attic when they did the install (mid August, probably the worst time of the year to be up there) so I don't blame them for wanting to get out of there, I don't like being up there even when it's nice out. That all said, the quality of the work was excellent. Pipes, tubing, wiring, and duct work were all neatly routed. Air handler installs (suspended from the rafters) are very well done and has made a huge difference in noise reduction. They also fixed a problem with an intake vent that was rattling for many years. I can barely hear it running now. They also came out after the install to look at a noisy duct in a guest bedroom that in the end remains noisy due to building design and air handler placement (not their fault), but they made at least two visits I can remember to try and resolve and I think did all they could without having to redesign everything. In the end that room is rarely used so is not an issue. Every member of their staff I talked and worked with was extremely professional, courteous, and respectful at all times. They took steps to make sure our living areas stayed isolated from the work as much as possible, and always cleaned up after themselves. They explained the work that was going to be done and confirmed with me throughout the process when they had questions or if changes had to be made. Salesman Mike was a pleasure to work with and he made an effort to stay in touch throughout and make sure I was satisfied at the final walkthrough. I would definitely hire Day & Night again for my heating and cooling needs.

Made appointment for the following day for installation. Jason appeared promptly, removed old retro unit (had to be 40 years old), installed new unit, demonstrated same and took the old unit away! Very personable and helpful in advising other applications the company could provide. I wasn't having problems with the old unit, just avoided using it because of water consumption, and the price of the new unit, installed, was more than reasonable, all things considered. Yes, I most certainly will use Day and Night again, and, in fact have another appointment scheduled for next week - new subjects; whole-house plumbing inspection and safety check for possible new AC (in preparation of installation as Angie's List notified me by e-mail, this morning.) Totally satisfied with Day and Night's product and service!!! (I wrote this review earlier when asked to review experience with Dr. Steven Gitt, of North Valley Platic Surgery Center. Hopefully, it was not posted under his site, since it had NOTHING to do with his services, obviously.)

They are a great company. They have great customer service, and help the customers understand everything.

I had subscribed to their annual service, and the technician wasn't careful when he came out to check it out. He left the valve open so all of the freon leaked out. They brought out a fan type thing and it leaked water everywhere out inside my house. My son in law had to go over and address the problem.

I used them due to a recommendation from Angie's List. It was first class all the way.

I took advantage of a special of two hours of services for the price of one hour. In two hours five jobs were expertly completed, and I couldn't be happier. The plumber was courteous, efficient, and flexible to both use some parts that I had and to sell me the ones that I didn't have at good prices. This is now my plumbing company. If you need plumbing services, you can't do better, in my opinion.

This was a Big Deal from Angie's List. From start to finish the experience was pleasant. The appointment was made quickly. The lady with whom I spoke was quite pleasant and helpful in finding a time that worked with my schedule. On the day of the appointment, they came out, on time, and quickly did the job. Floor covers were laid throughout all carpeted areas. The job was done quickly and VERY cleanly. All in all, it was a pleasant experience which sounds odd for getting a toilet replaced. I would definitely use this company again for any plumbing need.

Our plumber was Jason and he was awesome. We felt that he represented the company in a very good way as he was punctual, polite and honest. We appreciated that he/Day & Night did not try to upsell us on anything or any addistional services. He came out, did the work requested and left us a card for future business.....which, thanks to another great value through Angies List, we purchased another 2 hours of work through Day & Night and have requested Jason to be our plumber again.

Within three days of calling, I had an appointment. They were courteous and accommodating during the process and the tech, Randy, was very prompt and called to confirm that he was on his way. Randy did his job in a very courteous and professional manner, advising me of some things I needed to be aware of and giving me some helpful advice. He did the additional work I requested, cleaning the master sink drains and adjusting the pop ups. Everything was done to my satisfaction and I would not hesitate to recommend Randy and his company to anyone.
