They arrived a little early and were friendly and professional. They took their time explaining things and helped us to determine how extensive the damage was. In the end they were upfront about how much they could charge to repair but given that we had just moved in and sort of inherited this problem from our sellers, and given how they clearly value being a trustworthy company, they explained how we could take care of it ourselves for less than half the cost. This was a huge relief considering another company quoted us 4 to 7 times what it would cost us to repair the issue ourselves.

The pipe connected to the sink in our laundry room had hole and we had a minor water flooding problem. I e-mailed this company hoping someone would at least reply my e-mail. Things went extremely well from that point: not only my e-mail was replied almost immediately but a phone call followed right after that, the owner was at our house in about one hour or so to look at the damage. I had a great first impression and that continued. He quickly set machines to dry the wall, communicated with a contractor to estimate the damage. They negotiated with my insurance company and somehow managed to take care of the bill for us. It is a wrong story so I omit the detail but a similar thing happened again after a month. I e-mailed Tom Hodge, the owner, and again he took care of all for us. He went extra miles to contact plumber, handyman etc. to quickly resolve the whole problem for us. It is our strong impression that this is a good company owned by honest hardworking person. If whoever reading this review happen to have water damage, I can easily say that this is the company to call. We are indeed very impressed and happy with what they have done for us, and wholeheartedly recommend this company.

They were very attentive throughout the entire process. Their employees were respectful and got the job done. I was kept apprised of the daily progress. They also helped me find contractors to rebuild the areas that were flooded. I was extremely happy with the work they did and completely confident that the house would not have any ill effects of the water damage caused by the flood once it was rebuilt. I would whole heartedly recommend them and use them again if needed.

Very pleased with this contractor. The work was subcontracted out. Carpet people. Housing construction (decontructing?) crew. They did what the said they would do, hired nice people to do the work. Were couteous and very professional. I hope I never see them again, but, would call them if necessary. Milt

We got home from a two week vacation only to find our water heater had decided to start leaking and leak the entire time we were gone. We called late the next day and they came right out to check out the damage. They arrived and found that the box the water heater sat on was completely rotted out and mold and mushrooms had started to grow. They had to tear out the box, part of the garage wall and some of the wall inside the house. They set up fans and a dehumidifier to get everything dried out. It took about three or four days for everything to get dried out. They came and checked on the progress every day and were very good with my curious kids. They subcontracted a company to come out and fix the box and redo the walls which included painting. Once everything was put back together they came out checked everything and gave us a very detailed bill in case we decided to submit it to the insurance company. Overall, they did a great job and I would use them again (but I hope I don't ever have to again).

Tom was very professional. He answered all of our questions and explained everything that he was doing to repair the water damage. He was also very responsive after we made an emergency call very early on a Sunday morning. Tom was really easy to work with and 1-800 Water Damage worked directly with our insurance company to take out some of the hassle for us.

Thomas was very polite, patient and professional. He was always on time, available even on Saturday night and was always willing to work around my schedule. He and his crew cleans up after themselves so there isn't grout and tiles lying around the house. He only pulls out the minimum amount of tiles needed instead of doing a demolition of the entire house in an effort to save money for the construction crew.

Without our knowledge, the hose came off our washer and we found ourselves in standing water in our laundry room and the hall. My husband began cleaning it up with a carpet cleaner we had and I called 1-800 Water Damage. I caught Tom at a rehearsal dinner but he told me he would come over when he was done in about 2 hours. During those two hours, my husband and a neighbor did everything they could to get the water up off the floor and the carpet. We thought we had done a pretty good job. However, when Tom and his crew came over they immediately began to pull more water out of the carpet. They began to use their equipment to determine the extent of the damage by measuring the moisture content in the walls and the carpet. We were astonished to see that the water had spread into 7 rooms, under the carpet pads and into the baseboards and walls! Tom had to pull up the carpet in certain areas and used two high powered fans under the carpet to dry that out. He also had to take off the baseboards (very carefully) in various places and rooms and drill holes in the wall where the baseboards had been. He placed about 12 more fans in various areas, different rooms, and set up a humidifier to help remove moisture. Tom came in everyday to measure the moisture content of every area and compare it to previous readings to determine if fans needed to be added, removed or adjusted. It took 6 days to remove all moisture from the walls and carpet pad. We were, and are, relieved there is no more moisture for mold to grow. Although it was difficult to deal with the noise from the fans for all those days, we are very pleased with the service and believe we avoided a hazardous situation by having Tom and his professional team come in. Tom answered any questions and worked around our schedule for return visits. They were very flexible, courteous and understanding of our time.

Went well! I represented a buyer who was in escrow on the sale of a home. The buyer suspected water damage and had concerns about present mold during the inspection period. Tom, with 1-800 Water Damage, showed up on short notice to view the concerns. He confirmed the water damage using a moisture meter and uncovered a microbial substance growing in the closet. He promptly followed up with a written estimate for remediation and repair. The buyer was able to negotiate with the seller - cash in lieu of remediation and repairs so that the work could be completed properly by 1-800 Water Damage upon close of escrow. My client was really pleased with the professional service provided by 1-800 Water Damage. Tom and his crew dried out the water, remediated the mold and arranged for everything to be put back/restored. I highly recommend Tom and 1-800 Water Damage!

Responded quickly and had all the needed equipment to keep the water damage from further damaging sub flooring and walls. Very knowledgable about the various equipment needed for the water damage we incurred and how to best treat and dry the area. Very thorough in making sure that everything was dry and at the right moisture levels before removing the fans and dehumidifier. Also provided an antibacterial treatment at a VERY reasonable cost. Very honest, reliable, and reasonably priced. If I have water damage again, I feel better knowing I have 1 800 Water Damage there to help me through the process.
