Mike's Computer Repair

He was very courteous, prompt, efficient, and competent. He explained everything he was going to do, and did it. It was done in a reasonable amount of time. They were no surprises. I would definitely use services again.

I work full time and the great thing is that Mike's business has hours from 10am to 10pm MT 7 days a week . I called him Sunday night he called me back promptly. We determined I needed him to run programs to look for viruses and malware. And he emailed me a link I clicked on it and gave him some info and woola he could see my screen and the hunt began. Well sure enough my screen was showing me the level and types of viruses he was finding. Some were lower level ones but one was a level 5 which apparently on a scale from 1-5 was the highest threat and the worst type.He said he never seen that one before. What is so bad I had not had the computer for long or used it that much. But I had used mostly free WIFI like the library or coffee shop which is I learned is not a good thing. I will be upgrading to Kaspersky antivirus and getting my own hotspot. I had part 2 with Mike on Monday night because Sunday night I had to let my computer overnight do alot of windows updates. We appeared to finish Monday night. I thanked Mike for his time and expertise and paid him with paypal. Now I just need to finish some more updates and I should be complete again. Thanks again Mike

My iTunes stopped working. The folks at he Genius Bar at the Apple store could not fix the problem. Mike did.

Very well. Mike's scans resolved over 2200 threats and viruses. Stability greatly enhanced. Also reconfigured settings that improved speed and responsiveness. Nice to see results while watching.

Everything went well

Set up computer and put Norton spy ware on when we had purchased a brand we wanted to use. Had him come back and replace Norton (it does not work well with our programs) and he brought the old tower back cleaned and set it up as a wireless unit but there was no monitor available. He was paid at the time of first service. The second time he came back, no one was available to pay him so he left an invoice which I sent a check out the following day but he came in the middle of the next week to get a check???? Had to call him about getting the one in the mail which he said he would return.. Too many red flags to use him again.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of Mike Loren, and I feel her did an excellent job cleaning my computer remotely. This was a wonderful way to complete this task, so that I didn't have to take my computer somewhere and leave it. I'm grateful my computer is missing its viruses, malware, and spyware.

Mike was excellent and his work was efficient , complete and I would certainly recommend him to others and use his services again. I would rate his work as excellent.

Mike sent instructions ahead of time, so that my computer was ready for him to take over in remote mode at our agreed upon time. Setting this up early keeps from wasting time during the one hour that I have him to do my PC tune up. He performed a diagnostic and told me what needed to be done. He was fast, professional, courteous, and explained what was going on with my computer throughout the process. He ended up going a little over the hour, but did not charge me for it. I LOVED my experience with Mike, and will use and recommend him in the future

I had to pay additional funds and my computer is still not completely fix. Will seek another vendor to complete the job.

It was a positive experience, but it’s difficult to tell if my computer is better or not. Mike kept reminding me about the Deal and was very helpful in that regard. I haven’t had any issues with the computer since then. He did a pretty good job explaining everything, specifically that we may not be getting the full internet speed from our provider that we should be.

I was actually looking for someone to work on my computer in person, rather than just a remote tune-up. Mike was easy to work with and helpful in sorting all this out. He was cordial and tried to help the best he could. However, I just needed something that was hands-on.

It went very well. The only problem I had was that when I arranged everything online and it said he would call us, he never ended up doing so. It sounded like there were some notification issues from Angie’s List. Otherwise, it went very well. He gave me tips and answered all my questions.

The deal went pretty well. He was really helpful with my computer. I’d recommend this deal for other people, too. Mike remotely helped with some malware that I had come across. I wish the Deal was a little clearer in the description of the offer, though.

After Mike did the remote check, he actually said that my computer is not worth fixing (which I appreciate). I definitely appreciate his honesty since he didn’t take money for something that wasn’t worth fixing. This was the first time I’d done a remote tune-up, and next time I think I’ll do something that’s person-to-person and hands-on.

It turned out fine. He walked me through my problems and basically told me that I have a slow computer. I was hoping to just pay the $55 as listed, but it ended up more. He was very helpful and nice to work with, though.

I contacted Mike and we set up a date and time for him to remotely repair our laptop computer. I called Mike on our scheduled day and time he explained up front what he was going to do and how much his charge would be. The great thing was he would not charge over a set amount even if he needed extra time to complete the repairs. Mike needed almost one additional hour to complete my repairs for my very infected computer but he did not charge me anything additional. Mike did an excellent job and my computer is working like new again. He also answered many questions that I had regarding ways to avoid future problems with viruses, things to avoid etc. I called Mike a few days later with some additional questions and he was very helpful once again. I will definitely use Mike again for any computer issues that come up in the future and I will recommend him to family and friends. Thank you Mike.

We just weren't comfortable with the tune-up when we realized that it was remote. I wanted something in-person. They were very prompt in sending instructions afterward, so it was no fault of the company that I got a refund.

The contact I did have with Mike was very good. He was very polite. It’s not that I had a negative experience with Mike’s Computer Repair, but I do need to process a refund.

Instead of submitting three possible dates, I just asked for his earliest availability, and my project was completed in less than 18 hours from my initial request. Way to go, Mike. No don'ts.
