Description of Work: The invididual that allegedly did the work was no longer employed and did not leave any notes as to service. They did refund me my $100 fee, for which I was thankful and satisfied.

Description of Work: I've used Magic Touch several times and cannot say anything negative. They installed our new HVAC system and it is a Godsend!

Description of Work: I never was really comfortable with this provider. At times the service techs seemed pushy regarding recommended service, and the recommendations seemed pricey. This last time, the tech told me I needed to have my internal AC coils chemically cleaned, as well as having my external coils cleaned. The price was $450. I called one of the highly rated HVAC companies on Angies list and asked about having my internal coils chemically cleaned. They said that in their entire history of HVAC work, they had only seen one set of coils that needed chemical cleaning, and that was a house that had cats and used no intake filter had been used. This confirmed my discomfort with Magic Touch and I did not renew my maintenance contract with them.

Description of Work: I had them install 2 new are and heating units 2 1/2 years ago. They have been my yearly maintenance since then. I was happy with the install and with the associated savings due to much more energy efficient units. The only real issue arose during one the routine maintenance visits. Since I am not sure whether the ongoing problem was caused by this company or the manufacturer I gave them a B. So even though it took a couple of attempts to get everything right - I will state that Magic Touch stood behind their work and made every effort to get the situation corrected ASAP.

Description of Work: The compressor on our AC went out. They had given us a 10 yr. warranty on the compressor, but the company would not back them up. They replaced the compressor at their expense, and only charged us for the labor.

Description of Work: Checked my two air conditioning units for the spring. Will do the same in the fall. The cost of $600.00 includes two visits for two units. It went well. They made 66 checks of my systems, including cleaning of the condenser coils, which is important to do at least once a year.

Checked to make certain units were cooling properly and to optimum temperature and contained the necessary Freon. The men were very nice, very clean and neat in their work making sure not to leave anything behind.

Description of Work: In order to fix the problem I was experiencing with my outdoor fireplace, the Magic Touch technician quoted me some ridiculously high prices for some various options and even at that they stated there was no guarantee that the issue would be resolved. I opted to have another company out who only do fireplaces and they came up with a reasonable solution for no more than the cost of the service call. The 2nd company was positive of their diagnosis which was completely different than that arrived at by Magic Touch. I would not use them or recommend them again.
