Two service people completed all of the work noted in approximately 2 hours, pointed out potential issues and answered numerous questions. Work was done professionally and in a timely matter without any indication that they were in a hurry to adhere to a time clock.

It worked out good. They came out and did their thing. We were satisfied with it. They gave the system a reasonably clean bill of health, which was good. I thought they did a good job. The guy was very proficient, pleasant, and professional. He didn't try to sell you a bunch of stuff that you questioned if you needed. The price was reasonable. He came when he was called.

The service turned out okay. They did the work and they did recommend further work that was not essential. I was not present when they did the work but it seemed okay. I talked to the technician over the phone.

They were very good. We would use them again. Both guys were very nice and professional to work with. They were very knowledgable as well. We will call them again for screens on a few more windows.

He showed up on time, was very professional. He asked if I wanted my furnace checked, but didn't push it. After he finished the fireplaces, I decided to have him check the furnace. He showed me some problems, took pictures, and left a detailed page on how much it would cost to fix the problems, but again, he didn't push. I would recommend them!

They identifed some energy opportunities. It was a satasfactory experience. They found heat loss through my recessed lighting and found that I could upgrade my HVAC system to save on energy costs. I didn't like that they tried to upsell me. I probably wouldn't use them again.

There were no issues with scheduling and no additional costs. They were able to complete the job in under thirty minutes and cleaned up well after it was complete. Everything was good and it turned out great.

Great. Performed energy audit. I was impressed by the in-depth inspection and the final report.

The process with Magic Touch started out well. A day after I purchased the special offer I was contacted by the companies scheduler who worked with me to find a time slot that would work for me and my schedule. The day of the service the technician arrived a couple of minutes early and took the time to explain the audit process, what he was going to, what he needed access to, how long the process would take, and what I could expect at the end. During the process he showed me around and explained some of the thermal images he was taking. Upon completion of the audit the technician explained that it would take 5 to 7 days to get my 'customized' report back with details and recommended changes / repairs. The audit was very thorough. Up until this point I was impressed with the process. Approximately two weeks after the audit I had not received the report. I called Magic Touch and was told that they were finalizing the pricing on one of the repair recommendations. Five days later, almost three full weeks after the audit I received my "Customized Report'. The report is where the results were less satisfactory. As part of the initial discussion Magic Touch had requested two years of energy use data from APS. This is interesting because the first customized part of the report on page two is detailed look at your energy usage costs and a breakdown of 'Baseline' and 'Cooling' costs. On my customized report I have a SAMPLE bill detailed out. I do not understand why I provided the data if it is not going to be included in the report. The part is even more ridiculous. Page three has pictures of sample AC units and the 'MY CONCERNS' portion is again a list of sample customer concerns and not the 4 items that I had detailed out twice (once to dispatch and once to the technician). To me this is absolutely crazy. I do not know if all reports are full of samples, or if my report is a one-off but I was disappointed. Finally was the repairs that were quoted. One repair was to correct a perceived static buildup due to insufficient release ductwork causing the system to 'work to hard', 'lose efficiency' and 'potentially burn out quicker'. I reached out to another A-rated Angie's list mechanical contractor to get a second opinion. First was a blind quote to perform the same work quoted by Magic Touch. The quote second quote came back more than 40% cheaper. Now the final straw. Upon providing the quote they strongly advised against the work as it was not necessary. In fact they told me that there was now return airflow issue, but the opposite. There was a small issue with with the discharge ductwork. Not quite enough air discharging from the system. All in all the dispatch and technician were pleasant, but non of my concerns were addressed, the report was a complete disappointment, one of the recommended repairs turns out is completely unnecessary.

It was great with them and I had no problems at all. Everything was done and it was a good deal. It was a big deal purchase. The price was good. I signed some more contracts with them so everything was nice.

Challen did an energy inspection on our house. He gave us quite a bit of information and was very generous with his time. We won't be able to perform any of the upgrades ommediately, but know whst should be done to make our house more efficient.

Not very good, I didn't have time to be messing with this problem and had hoped I could trust Angie's List to find a credible service co. to not try and rip me off, I obviously WOULD NOT recommend this operation to anybody... I have had success with other services but definitely not this one.... Signed, A very unhappy, feeling ripped off, customer..

assessment and consultation of energy efficiency

Everything went well. Audited all areas of possible energy loss and offered solutions. Also installed the programmable thermostat which still works great and saved us some money.

Challen was extraordinary! He provided a lot of great information that was hiding within the home. Where the insulation gaps were, where heat and cold were getting in and air circulation/venting. He did not try to "sell" me on anything. Just provided information so I could make the decision. Gave me a comprehensive report that shows pricing for good/better/best scenarios of where I can update to create better energy efficiency, etc. Challen took the time and never "rushed" the conversation to get to the next customer. This was a bargain price for the information provided. Overall I was very satisfied and will be using this service again for other homes and referring to others. Thanks very much...we will be working on the house now that we have information we can count on!

The part was replaced under warranty and I only paid for labor and service charge. I like the company. They put my system in and have done a really good job.

I bought the home energy audit off Angie's List. The provider called me to schedule soon after i purchased. They arrived on time and were very professional. The only service they recommended was sealing the ducts. They performed this service for a reasonable fee. Overall a very good experience.

He did a really good job. I would recommend him to others.

They were very thorough. They spent about 5-6 hours at the house. We got some great information and will definitely take advantage of it in the future. My "C" for responsiveness was from a lack of follow up, but I never called them either. I was just surprised that having two professionals spending all that time for $99 was a lost leader for them. I would have assumed they would have followed up to see what services we would take advantage of. Like I said, we are very happy with the information we got and will follow up with them at some point to do some follow up and possibly have some work done.

The two gentleman from Magic Touch did an excellent job in their inspection and explained in detail the printed report on my systems current efficiency. They also sent all the paperwork to submit to my power company for the rebates that were offered. A great experience!

The work went very well. All a/c components were checked and the capacitor replaced. The filters were not in his truck, so he needed to come back to install. My burglar alarm siren was in the way when installing the new filters (they are way thicker than standard filters) so he had to move the siren.

Nothing was previously wrong with my unit. The came out and serviced my air handler and then it stopped working. They spent a lot of time here, but I’m not sure what they did. I’m not impressed with them. I would never hire them again.

Everything was fine. The air condition system started to work less noisy after the part replacement.
