Did a great job. Showed up on time and thoroughly checked the fireplace, gas pressure, etc. Showed me how to operate a switch that I hadn't bee using properly. Great service.

The technician admitted he had only been doing this job for a few months and went to his truck to call the experienced techs and returned about 20 minutes later and informed me the gas valve was bad and needed to be replaced. He called it complete gas combustion rejuvenation ans it came with a 1-year warranty! It was a rip-off as my unit was repaired for no additional cost other than the service call fee from another company of $125. So I spent $89 for nothing and I am very leary about using another company recommended by Angie's List. Cheat me once, shame on you....cheat me twice, shame on me. It will not happen again.

He did a great job -- and exceeded my expectations. I was very happy with his work and would definitely use him again. He was very friendly and got along with my dog. He took the logs out and cleaned them, and even corrected an installation problem with the pilot light for no charge!

Superb and responsive customer service with a return call from my Angies List request on a weekend no less! Great tech who was both personable and efficient after what seemed to be a very long day all over the valley. He was especially carefully to cover the floor where he was working and clean area well after completion. This was a cleaning and tune-up for our gas fireplace and it looks and works like new. Would definitely recommend - superb AL value!

Andrew came by and did a very thorough job of cleaning and checking out our family room FP. We just bought this home in Dec of 2013 and had not used either of our two fireplaces. We figured that, of the two fireplaces we had, we might use the one in the family room. However, we wanted the one in the MBR lit "just in case". Again, he did a good, thorough cleaning of the one in the family room, showed me how to turn the pilot on and off (for the summer) and checked and lit the pilot in the MBR. We were very satisfied with his work and strong customer service attitude.

Magic Touch called the day before the service date to confirm the appointment. The tech called 30 minutes before the appointment and showed up right on time. The tech got right to work and made sure that the surrounding area was well covered. He explained what he was doing and the results of his inspections and confirmed that everything was working to spec. It was a good process and a good job for a fair price.

Tech was on time...very polite....got right to work...did a great job. Asked me how I wanted the flames to look...low, med or high etc...cleaned up ..went very well. Very nice young man.

They came out and check my unit. They are very professional and they do wonderful work and they are even available for questions. The people that they send are topnotch. They are reasonable and they offer a plan where you can pay a certain amount per month. If I hear a bad noise and if they have someone in my area they will come. They are a real good company.

Technician arrived on time and cleaned both fireplaces. One fireplace needed some technical work, and we chose to do that work ourselves, because the cost of the repair seemed a bit high. Other than that the service was good and timely.

Provider called, scheduled appointment and asked me for details of what I was after. That surprised me a bit since they had been connected via APS to perform an energy audit but I told them that I was expecting them to be the experts and to have a process of accessing the property for energy issues. I told them that I had a couple hot spots in the house that concerned me and was looking to get information on where else I might have problems and get a report of recommendations and costs of resolving such problems. They day they headed my way they called and asked again what I was expected and by the end of the call they had talked into not going with the APS audit and just having them do there specific Energy Audit which was only $59. Didnt matter to me as I just wanted my house checked, a report produced and recommendations made. Two of them came and spent 4 hours in the house and attic. I felt they did a very thorough job and some of the kitchen conversation we had was encouraging. When they were done they cautioned me not to expect a result for 2 to 3 weeks. Since I was traveling this was fine as long as I eventually saw the results of all the pictures, and heat tests so I could begin to figure out next steps. I waited and about 2 and a half weeks later I got a card in the mail thinking me for letting them into my house and stating they hoped to be able to exceed my expectations. I was about to pick up the phone and ask for the report when my wife told me it hadn't quite been 3 weeks. So I waited and due to travel let more than a week go by finally picking up the phone at about week 5 and a half. I talked to someone on the desk when i called who said she would check into it. A day or two later I got a voice mail and an email from the engineer who came out apologizing, saying they were returning the $59 and telling me he had lost the pictures and the information on my house. (Wonder if he actually new this when he sent me the thank you card, I suspect so. ) Bottom line, I lost 4 hours of my day and countless weeks of expected a detailed report on my house that I could look to see how I might solve some, likely, costly energy issues. Even though I got my $59 back its no consolation. I engaged them for a reason now I have to waste another 4 hours of my time and wait another couple weeks to see what I should have already had in my hand. Very disappointed.

It went great. We've been calling on Magic Touch Mechanical since we bought our home about 4 years ago and each time they have come out they have been great to work with. This particular project Brian was our point person and he was great, too. He was trustworthy, friendly and sincerely cared about his crew doing a top notch job. The insulation, installation crew were friendly and did a good job, too. Our house was built around 1955 and appeared to have had the original insulation and ductwork. As you can imagine that meant our house was heated and cooled extremely unevenly. It also meant that our A/C / heating unit worked harder than it should have to keep our house at the desired temp. Since the work has been completed, we've immediately noticed the improvement, both in how our house circulates the air evenly now and feels a consistent temperature throughout the house and in the amount of time our unit is working to keep our house at the consistent temp. Prior to the work our A/C unit was on 12 to 13 hours a day and after, we kept the thermostat at the same temp after work as post work (78 in the day and 74 at night), our unit was only on about 9 hours. That's about a 25% reduction and we expect to see the savings in our upcoming energy bills. Well worth the price. A side note: we didn't shop around to see if we could get a better deal, because we felt so good working with Magic Touch in the past and feel they are trustworthy, so I can't really comment on the relative price of the project, but needless to say we felt the cost was reasonable and again, well worth it.

It was easy and quick to schedule, their service was great and the repair was prompt and well-done. The replacement part was expensive, but the visit and labor was very affordable with the coupon for Angie's List members.

Magic Touch Mechanical returned our call to assess the project and we were very pleased when they asked to e mail the model number and picture of the kitchen hood to determine the scope of work. The other two companies just quoted a price without fully understanding the project. Rick arrived on time, introduced himself at the front door and ask for permission to enter our home. He immediately placed shoe covers over his shoes and proceeded to our kitchen. My wife and I were very impressed with his prep work by covering our appliances, floor and tapping off our kitchen cabinets for extra precaution and protection. Rick completed the kitchen hood installation on time including our air conditioning tune up. He was very courteous, answered all of our questions and cleaned up his work space! We receive compliments on our new hood whenever we have guests. We recommend Rick as a highly skilled installer and Air Conditioning Technician with Magic Touch Mechanical!! A+A+A+

It turned out okay. What they did helped and I have saved quite a bit of money so far. The electric bill went down by half. They were also easy to schedule with and showed up on time.

I was just gathering information about the energy status of my home, which is 2300 sq. ft. I never got a report back from them. They came in and evaluated my home and I’m following up with them.

I always try to schedule in February when it is cool. Every time they service my A/C they've done a great job. I really have never had any problems with this company that they didn't fix quickly.

While they had valid suggestions, the few things that we could do were not cost effective for us.
