Hauptman'S Floor Covering, Inc.

I have had several contractors in to assess the damages, make recommendation [all men, by the way, some licensed contractors, some not.] I met the Vice President, Lindsay Hauptman, contacted her, met her sister, Kelly, the President who came to my home to do an in home evaluation of my situation. The initial assessment of the damage to the tiles in my kitchen was discussed as were recommendations for repair, replacement and possible new counter tops to be done in future. I found both LIndsay and Kelly to be most professional, respectful of my budgetary constraints and, very insightful regarding the work to be done in my kitchen. I might also add that I have had several [yes, several] contractors in to my home [licensed and non-licensed] alike] to assess and make recommendations for the broken vintage tiles in my kitchen over the past four months. One who was to get back to me is still in wait [four weeks ago]; another one promised on three occasions to come to repair the tile but had to cancel and reschedule [still waiting]; another promised to come out and repair the tile-- on the following Saturday at 8am [three weeks ago] and again, he was a no show. Others have said they would get back to me...and on it went --the continuing saga of broken kitchen tile.. Lindsay and Kelly were right on time with phone calls, e-mails and home visits. When the actual work was to be done [yesterday] I was more than pleased to see both Kelly and Randall here to do the work. This was a small job, not terribly costly and probably offered little to others in terms of compensation. However, Hauptman?s did not find this out of their realm. Indeed, the tiles have been replaced, the gentleman who performed the task replacing tile and the grout, was equally as professional as were Kelly and Lindsay. What a great gift for me. A most professional team, all of whom are skilled professionals. I am so grateful.
