Description of Work: We recently purchased a security door for our home from First Impression Security Doors. In the past, we have purchased the best custom security doors that the big box building supply stores have to offer. First Impressions Security Doors, for a small price difference, offer such a vastly superior door to the box stores, custom tailored to your needs that it makes no sense to purchase a door anyplace else. The doors are custom made on their premises, in Gilbert, AZ. They have a huge selection of designs and options to choose from and offer configurations that are just not available from the box outlets. We could not be happier. In my opinion the construction and value we received from First Impressions far exceeds the price we paid!

Description of Work: First quality product and excellent installation service. Very pleased with every step of the process with this provider. They were able to satisfy the design style we wanted and produce an elegant finished product within our expected budget. Installer was thorough, did a great after-install tidy-up and spent extra time answering all of our maintenance and use questions. We had tons and he was very patient and friendly. Installation represented almost better than sales which was refreshing and helpful. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: Custom security screen door. There was some confusion due to the salesman rushing the visit and not explaining one of the options throughly enough. He came at 4 o'clock on a Sunday and I was his last stop. I needed the tumbler changed out after instal and was charged 75 dollars for the change out. They kept referring to the contract I had signed regarding the type of tumbler I had agreed to, but I wasn't given or explained the difference between the tumbler options. My doorbell was removed from the premises and couldn't be located. I assume it was damaged or broken and I had to order and install a new one. They did reimburse me for the doorbell which was 8 dollars. The door is absolutely beautiful though and at the end of the day, I was a satisfied customer.

They were very patient with me. They represented themselves very well. They were also very knowledgeable about the product. They answered my questions, and left no doubt in my mind and that is great for a home owner.

 + -1 moreFirst Impressions made a very good impression on my neighbor Matt and I had seen their listing on Angie's List, so I called Betsy to schedule an appointment. I already knew what door I wanted from looking at their website, which made the appointment pretty quick. I selected the color that matched the trim on my house, selected the door screen type then she measured the door since it's made to fit. On the following Monday, they called me to schedule the installation which happened today (Tuesday). The installer arrived right on time (they gave me a 12:00 - 2:00 pm window, he was here at 12:00) and I am very happy with the door. It actually looks better than I expected, the color matches the rest of the house and the design is doesn't stand out, it blends in very well. I recommend First Impression for security doors.

She also offered many helpful suggestions in the selection of the door that met our particular need. The installer came out in good time after the order was placed. He did a good job of installing the door and with the proper locks and keys. He left the work area in very clean condition upon the completion of the job. The company has good product guarantees for the product and offers to stand behind the installation.

 + -1 moreWe went to the office to make our initial choices, staff was polite, knowledgeable and very anxious to please. 2 days later the owner, Tim, came and did the measurements. 2 weeks later they called, made and kept the appointment, extended and covered entryway. Doors fit perfectly, look just beautiful, and I would, and have recommended them to several people.
Description of Work: Built and installed 2 security storm doors. These 2 doors that are custom built and designed and installed cost less than it would have cost to have 1 door done in custom design and color at a ''Big Box'' store. We had a choice of about 40 colors and an almost unlimited style of doors and custom designs.
