After an inital consultation with Dusty to discuss our ideas, he developed a landscape design that we were very pleased with. When our HOA approved the project, we gave Live Oak the go ahead and the work began within a few days. Zack and the entire crew worked in an efficient and professional manner and they completed the job in about four workdays. The owner, Matt, was available to answer any questions we had. We are very happy with all aspects of the job. The landscaping has greatly enhanced the curb appeal of our home.

During a previous engagement, Matt had his landscaper draw up plans to improve the backyard and add some landscaping. The initial plan for the landscaping looked nice, although it was also extremely expensive. With my feedback, they modified the the plans and started work. The work was scheduled ~3-4 weeks from signing the contract (reasonable considering the season and weather). Initially they came out to modify the existing irrigation system to support the new beds. They then started on the new beds (removing the sod, adding soil conditioner, and finishing with mulch and the selected plants. They then started digging the hole for the pond, and beginning initial layout of it. Lawn installation took a couple of days. After the pond was installed, they tested all of the irrigation heads and filled in the pond (they tied it into the irrigation system). Finally they removed the existing sod and resodded the backyard. At the end of each day, Matt's crew cleaned up after themselves (except for the first day they were working on the beds proper, when they left a couple of empty soda cans). They were careful to minimize their use of the driveway (i.e. for mulch / soil / rock dumps), and made sure the garage was still accessible even when they were working / having supplies delivered. The crew was friendly, and made sure to clean up at the end of each day.

From start to finish any questions or concerns we brought up were addressed promptly and completely. Matt And his crew start early and work till dark if needed to make sure each days schedule is met. Their attention to detail and professionalism is impressive and shows in the finished product. We recommend this company to anyone seeking outstanding service and results. We will be hiring them again in the near future for another project in our back yard this time we will be doing a paver with an outdoor kitchen/ entertainment area.

The process began with the draft of a landscape design, meetings with the homeowner, slight revisions to the design, and installation.The entire project is approximately one week away from completion. I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of the work. The owner of the company could not have been more prompt with the completion of every stage or more responsive to my questions. In addition, the landscape plan coming to life has truly exceeded expectations, and will certainly enhance the overall curb appeal in a major way.

Matt and his Crew were very professional once they got started. Even though they started without telling me, they did an excellent job and worked around the contractor who was installing concrete edging around my house. One the first day, Matt's crew marked off the paver sidewalk, removed the sod, and dug the necessary trench for most of the sidewalk. At the end of the day they fixed all of the irrigation pipes they hit while digging. On the second day, they dropped off the gravel and sand necessary for the job. On the third day, they distributed the gravel / sand and compacted it. On the last 2 days, they hand cut all of the pavers to fit the sidewalks, and replaced the sod along the completed sidewalk. Each day, Matt's team took great care to clean up after themselves, and ensure the day's work was finished. The end result is excellent! Live Oak is probably not the cheapest, but their prices are fare, and the quality of their work defiantly shows.

The project came together well. We came up with drawing of what we would like to have done to our outdoor living area. The contractor worked with us day in and day out to build a custom outdoor fireplace and living area. We let him choose the plants for the landscaping and he did an excellent job with his choices. The workmanship exceeded our expectations.

Prior to the 4th of July weekend, we requested an estimate for a french drain, sprinkler head repair, and lawn maintenance via Live Oak's website, www.goliveoaklandscaping.com. We chose them because the owner's yard, 19 houses from ours, speaks for itself. It is very nicely landscaped and extremely well-maintained. His work vehicles are professionally wrapped with the Live Oak logo, not just with some magnetic sign. Some days to a week later, I received an email response stating that the owner, Matt Lombardi, was on vacation. He apologized for the inconvenience and stated that he would call me upon their return. Did I mention he lives 19 doors down from us?! I received a call from Matt Lombardi, on or about 6 July that he would come by to provide an estimate between 3:30 and 4 p.m. on Tuesday 10 July. The date and time, came and went without Mr. Lombardi calling or showing up for the estimate. Did I mention that he lives 19 doors down from us?! I called Mr. Lombardi to set up another appointment, but I had to leave a message. He returned my call on 11 July and did not seem aware that we had an appointment. He fegined an apology and said that we would shoot for the same timeframe as before for 12 July and that he was going to enter it into his phone as soon as we hung up. Well, the new appointment date and time arrived but Mr. Lombardi did not. Did I mention that he lives 19 doors down from us?!
