Description of Work: We contacted TruGreen to help get rid of some weeds that had overtaken parts of our yard from 2013. TruGreen destroyed what grass was left. My husband attempted to meet with a supervisor on 2 occasions, but the supervisor never showed up. They would not consider a refund even though we had before and after pictures of our yard. We canceled their service, and we would not recommend TruGreen to anyone.

Description of Work: Routine lawn and shrub maintenance acceptable. Then ALL the bushes on our hill started to look spotted. It took them 3 weeks to finally revisit us for special treatment. It didn't work. They were supposed to come back 2 weeks later for a second application. I called. They didn't come. Good bye TruGreen

Description of Work: I saw a TruGreen guy down my block doing the fertilization service. I just moved in and needed the service. I asked him to stop by when he was finished to give me a quote. Within 5 minutes, he was at my home. Real nice guy. Gave the lawn an inspection and advised me of all of the services available. I purchased the lawn fertilization package. About 3 days later, I recieved an automated phone call advising me that TruGreen would be at my home on 9/27, which was about a week after I signed the paperwork. The phone message advised me that no one needed to be home and that they would perform the lawn service. On the evening of the 27th, we noticed that TruGreen never came by, so I called and the agent told me that they were not able to make it and that they would be there the next day. Again, they never showed. I called and they told me that a service manager would call me on Monday, again, no call. So I called on Tuesday to cancel and they transfered me to a guy that apologized and pleaded to give them one last chance and guaranteed me they would be there the next day. Guess what, yup, No Show. So I called and cancelled. A few days later, I get a call from a service manager telling me that he had a message for him to call me. I explained what happened and he really didn't care. I realize now why they have so many negative rating on here. Wow, I wonder if anyone in Corporate knows that customers are being treated this way.

Description of Work: This company did fertilization and weed treatments on my lawn every 6 weeks. I have used them for 3 years and canceled as many times. Each time I agreed to try them again I was disappointed because the weeds were never controlled. I have cancelled them for good now.

 + -1 moreI am very satisfied with Chemlawn. They do a quality job on our lawn. We are getting the results that we want. The worker is always here on time. They are a professional company. They come out here every 6 weeks and it is $30 each time. They will come back in between treatments if you are having problems but, luckily, I have never had to call them yet for that. I would highly recommend them to others.

 + -1 moreOther than a few weeds, from time to time, I do believe what I have them do, benefits my lawn. I got rid of the old company that I used, because I didn t see a difference, but that weren t the case with Tru Green. They were prompt to the time scheduled and I haven't had a single problem out of them.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job and I have been impressed, that they have been able to kill our weeds. If the weeds aren't gone after a treatment, they would come back in 48 hours and retreat the area at no cost. They guaranteed their work and if we refer someone who starts using their services, they would give us a rebate and I liked that.
Description of Work: They spread fertilizer and weed killer throughout our front and back yard.
