Mister Sparky of Birmingham

Rep agreed to remove existing hardwire so that I could use solar lights. I assumed that he would remove the 2 lights on the line but he didn't. Now I, at age 82, have to figure out how to remove them.

Mr Sparky got the call at 1pm on a Sunday. He was at my home by 3 and was able to complete everything on 1 visit. The job involved replacing and old ceiling fan and troubleshooting the wire between the 3 way switches and fan. When the fan went it took out all outlets behind it.

I contacted several electrical companies to correct problems in my home. Mister Sparky stood out from the other competitors based on our telephone conversation and the answers to my questions about the issues I was experiencing. I was offered a free inspection to determine what exactly the problems were. They offered to provide a copy of their business license and proof of insurance â this was assurance I wanted. The following day, Brandon (electrician) and Jamarcus (assistant) came to my house (Pelham, AL) and conducted a free evaluation of my electrical system, which took several hours to complete. I admired them going under the house in 105 Degree heat. Brandon and Jamarcus identified the problems with the electrical system. Brandon clearly defined what work was needed and what the results would correct. Several issues were deemed severe and needed immediate attention. Other items could have waited. His proficient knowledge and experience detected Brandon's 17 years of being a certified electrician. Brandon explained my problems in very easy to understand language and showed me where the problems existed. Brandon and Jamarcus's demeanor, attentiveness, and attention to detail were impressive. Brandon ensured me that all work was guaranteed. I was to contact Mister Sparky and ask for Brandon if any problems arose after the job was completed. My wife and I chose Mister Sparky of Birmingham based on the free written quotation for the work, total breakdown of cost, and the financial options payment plans offered to make the repairs affordable, I selected Mr. Sparky first and foremost on Brandon's interaction with my wife and me. Brandon came across as a caring professional. Jamarcus was also instrumental in being detailed and focused on getting the job done correctly. The electrician was very professional and friendly. I am pleased with the work. I Asked for receipt for service rendered. I have not received it yet. I would recommend and use Mr Sparky again.

Everything was great, customer service was great, answered all questions and explained everything.

No problem with setting the appointment and the tech arriving as scheduled, however he was unable to isolate the problem, his quote for a full diagnostic review was in the four figures, much too much for what should be a simple repair. He did however wave the dispatch fee as he was unable to isolate the problem.

The gentleman that did the work was not the same gentleman that quoted the job. I was asked to pay additional monies above what was quoted on the project the first electrician told me. The initial electrician gave me a turn key price. The second tech ask me to pay for a box cover and 220 amp fuses. Those pieces were most certainly quoted in the turn key quote from the first tech.

Honest, practical advice. Decided not to have work done. Did not charge for visit & refused a tip.

My service Tech was on time, very polite, and even checked a few other things for me that I was concerned about.

I hired Mister Sparky Company to install my Garage Lamps and to install a Surge Protector in my home. The Electrician named Brandon Hunt did an Outstanding Job!! I will definitely call and use their services again in the future.

They charged me almost $800 to hang a TV over my fireplace in the living room. All the condos in our complex are rewired for the TVs to be placed there. He ran wires back to a back bedroom for not apparent reason: he had me go to two different stores to get him more supplies (cable, cover boxes, etc.) and then it took him two trips to finish and it was not finished correctly. His manager had to come out and clean up the job and get my blue ray player connected. The manager did try his best to make the job right, I will give them that, but of course did not offer me any refund of the money they collected up front.
