The technician did arrive on time for the appointment. The technician was accompanied with an apparent sales person whom commenced to tell me how bad my furnace and air conditioner was. He even mentioned the possibility of an explosion of some units with the same problem. Was this a scare tactic to make a sale? I did ask for an estimate and he stated that his sales manager could only give an estimate and he did call him. Within 5-10 minutes after the call was made the sales manager was at my home. He did give an estimate of more than $7000.00. I was very suspicious of this company!! First, a sales person conveniently coming to my house with a repair technician. Secondly, how fast a sales manager arrived my house when fetched to give an estimate. Their visit to my house appeared to be a 3 person scam to attempt to sell an expensive system, regardless if needed. Is this company a legitimate company, I don't know but their method of sales techniques was very suspicious. Comments: I am still using my same system that is operating quiet well and has not exploded yet.

Technician arrived when scheduled. Advised some components needed replacing. Professional and responsive to questions. Would use again.

Bought the service on Angie's list, called Freedom Heating and Air to schedule appt., felt like they stopped what they were doing to fix my problem. They came out the same day, fixed A/C. All was happy.

The tech was very personable and professional. They did a good job!

There was sme confusion since the services i had pre-paid for had not been clearly conveyed to the person coming out to do the servicing, so it involved some phone calls back and forth and a little extra time till it was all settled. But they were very courteous, very apologetic for their error, and overall I was satisfied. Mistakes happen, but it all turned out well and I would use them again.

I chose Freedom HVAC for their good rating on Angie's List and their ability to service the next day. I thought I was clear (on phone and a separate e-mail that I said I was going to send during the phone call and promptly did) that the service rep should call me when he got to the house (a rental house I own) to discuss the job. I said several times when setting up appointment that we were not looking to replace the unit, that we're selling the house to the renters and need the WORKING HVAC serviced as a result of the inspection requests (among other HVAC-related items addressed from the inspection that I included in the e-mail). The tech arrived SEVERAL hours outside of the appointment window; admittedly, I did get a call from the appointment coordinator at the end of the period alerting me of this. The tech told the renters/buyers it needed a new unit and left. Renters/buyers said he did "nothing." I do believe the tech tried to call me at the end of the day, but when I called back literally a minute later, no answer. I contacted Freedom the next day myself because I was COMPLETELY in the dark as to what had been done or what needed to be done and annoyed my requests had not been followed. They arranged for a Monday morning appointment and were prompt. But AGAIN they tell the renters - NOT ME WITH THE CHECKBOOK AND DOCUMENTED GREIVANCES - that the unit would probably mess up after they serviced it. What?! The renters/buyers were even annoyed with Freedom and requested that I send a different company out. I did at my expense. A little Freon and off we go. Freedom cost me time and extra money! Separately, I did have OK experiences talking with/receiving follow up calls from the person who books the appointment and then the person who dispatches the techs. However, these folks and the owners desperately need to get on the same page with the techs themselves to deliver proper customer service.

He did very well. He did several other services but he didn't charge me for it. He did some good things for us. He was very polite. He was on time. He did a very efficient job. With all this heat that's going on, it's pretty cool in here. I was very satisfied with all of it. He left his cellphone number for in case anything happens.

They did alright. It was not as good as I thought it was going to be but they did okay. I thought it was going to be more of a comprehensive job than it was. The special they had was for a small job where they basically just send the guy out here with a Shop-Vac. What I really wanted was a big truck where they would hook it up to that. They said they could do that for $1000 more so I didn't get that. For what they did, it was alright. They came back out and redid what I was not happy with. For what they did, it was okay but it was not as much work as I thought they would do. They really did not do a whole lot that I could not have done myself. He did not resolve the problem. I had to get another. He didn't do what I needed him to do. I had a bigger issue and he didn't help get to the bottom of it.

My wife and I took advantage of an Angies List coupon for dryer vent service as a $59 special. The service was provided by Freedom Heating and Cooling Company and performed by their serviceman Jimmie Simmons. One could not ask for a more professional repairman or expect a more friendly visit to their home. Mr. Simmons treated us like family and provided a thorough cleaning of our clothes dryer system. On completion of the service he cleaned the work area and repositioned the dryer in the laundry room. When I offered a token of thanks - he politely refused and explained that he was just doin his job and that payment for service was more than adequate. Mr. Simmons is a "class act" and has earned my business for the future.

Technician arrived at stated time. He checked out the Heat pump unit and all components. Very professional and nice. Answered my questions thoroughly. Will use again

I needed emergency AC service because AC went out on a Sunday. Searched Angie's List. They were ranked highest with most reviews. Called 24/7 number. Never heard a response. I have MS and heat is not good for me. This was my first try at using Angie's List. NOT HAPPY! They called Monday afternoon. We had already arranged service. Totally would never recommend.

I recently bought a $59 "deal" to try out a different provider on 1 of my 2 units. Turned out the "deal" was for an "inspection"...that's what the carbon copy of the service ticket says...no maintenance or tune up sections to even mark on their form. The advertised deal in the Angie's List deal was for tune up and 1 pound of refrigerant if needed. I ended up going back to my original company - well worth the$20 extra for 2 units - and without a "deal". My provider charges $79 for 1st unit and $59 for 2nd (which I had performed after the "inspection" deal). They actually do maintenance/tune up and not just "inspection". My coils that the "deal" inspected were never cleaned...in the end it's a rip off...on the form there were places to check whether the company recommended upgrade/replacement...in my opinion, it's just a way for them to try to sell you a new unit. Not saying most companies or even most techs in this company are like this one, and I won't name them, but buyer beware...trust, but verify! No more "deals" for me. I have before/after picture of my coils and it is obvious that they were not cleaned. I paid $138 for my company to clean/service 2 units, and the "deal" would have cost $118 for 2. I just paid $59 to Freedom for a $59 lesson not to use them again. As Angie's list mentioned when I called, I probably could have called the provider and ask that someone clean the coils, but in the end, I do not wish to maintain ties with this provider.

This was a great value except that the technician was very late, about 6 hours late. He was scheduled to arrive between 11-1 and at 2, when I called the office, they told me he was running late and wouldn't be there until 6 p.m. The woman that I spoke to knew all of this right off the bat and did not have to check to see where the technician was or when he would be here. A call to let me know that the technician would be very late would have been great! The technician was nice and seemed competent.

Everything went smoothly. They did fine work and at a good price.

Made an appointment they gave me a two hour window of when the technician would arrive. On the day of the appointment they called letting me know the technician would be arriving soon. He showed up maybe less than ten minutes later. He introduced himself and I already knew he would need to know where the units were located and showed him. He was kind and respectful. He was very quick at doing the work.

Awesome! The tech explained to me in detail what the issue was and guaranteed that his work would fix it.

They were timely, friendly and went above and beyond what was necessary to take care of the job. I couldn't be happier with their performance.

I had Freedom Heating and Cooling come out on a Friday June 13th to give me a second opinion on my ailing cooling system. Skip (Technician) went through the system thoroughly without making any assumptions and gave me an accurate picture of what my system needed and the different repair paths that were open to me, differing from the company that I used that only wanted "to sell me a new system" He was willing to explain all of the new efficiency and freon regulations and how that would impact me if i moved to a new system. After his diagnosis was complete they actually have a supervisor (Ashley) come by to verify the findings of the Technician. After evaluating their recommendations I made a decision to go with a new system. Freedom was able to locate the type of system that I decided upon and was able to arrange an installation for the next day even though it was 6:00PM on a Friday. The install technicians arrived promptly the next morning and went about replacing the old system. This was done very quickly (around 2 hours) and they cleaned up any messes that were created and removed the old equipment as well. The install technicians were able to give very good instructions on the operation and maintenance of the new system. Overall I am very satisfied with the entire process and would recommend them to anyone needing their HVAC system evaluated and if necessary replaced.

Service provider arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. He went right to work and completed the job in about 45 minutes. He added refrigerant to the system and cleaned it. I was very satisfied.

the serviceman was nice he was suppose to be here between 9-11 in the morning. I got a call at 10:55 stating he was on his way but it was another thirty minutes before he got here. I had to remind him to check the thermostat which was on the list of services

We started having issues with our AC not working as efficiently so searched on Angie's List for recommendations. I saw the deal for Freedom Heating & Cooling and purchased the deal. I received an email from the company within two days and was able to make an appointment within the next week. Allen, our technician, was very professional and courteous and arrived on time. He was very patient with my questions and I felt that he was honest and thorough. The inspection was completed in a very timely manner. I was very pleased with the service and will likely use this company again for future AC services and tune ups.
