North Star give them a special move-out package pricing and did a fantastic job! The carpets looks so great, Visitors at our Open House the following weekend -- all without prompting -- slipped out of their shoes upon entry. Thanks, NorthStar!

Came on time and got the cleaning done in about 45 min. Some spots remained on the carpet but to truthful the carpet was in bad shape. They do have a minimum charge which is $100 plus any additional cost like for Scotch Gard. So if I need some more service I would check other companies to see if the have minimum charge also.

Very prompt and professional service. They said they would be there the next day for an estimate and were there right on time. A very detailed estimate was also emailed to us the same day. Service was scheduled less than a week later at 8:30. A call at 8:00 said they would be 15 minutes late due to ice on roadways. They did arrive just when they said they would. Their personal are certified and did a great job. I would, and have, recommended them to our friends.

I had same people clean my carpets last fall before the holidays. Over the winter one of my cats had medial problems and left stains on the carpet. NorthStar was able to get them all out and again my carpets look great.

they were very propmt with the estimate, gave us even a better deal than quoted. He remembered cleaning the carpets with the prior owner and gave us the heads up of a couple of the issues he had previously. They then cleaned the carpets of the rental we moved out of and all was good.

When I called Shawn returned my call within an hour, I was thrilled. Said he would check his schedule and get back to me within a day or so. He never called back. I explained I had a 10 day window to work within and he did not call back.

They did an incredible job. The serviceman, Tim was excellent. He did a really good job and was very personable. Everything was as it was supposed to be, and I was okay with the price. With regard to the price, I have nothing to compare it to.

It was all very good. There was nothing spectacular but they were no problems either. They were in and out of here.

First let us start by saying HIRE THIS COMPANY! Hands down, you will not be disappointed. They do the work right and they won't leave the job until you are satisfied! I would hire them again in a second! Here is our story: It was the day before we were to leave for vacation. We has the drain in our upper level children's bathroom loosen up, of course that was the day our daughter chose to take a bath. A full tub of water went into the ceiling of our kitchen. We had just closed on the house a few months before. A new house (used-but new to us) and one huge mess! We had a 3' in diameter bubble of water in my kitchen ceiling, ready to burst at any second! (Please note that almost a year to the day prior we had a terrible storm that produced high winds and heavy rains. It loosened up shingles and flashing and water poured into the front wall of our living room in our old home. That proved to be a massive disaster with another contractor our insurance company had recommended. NOT THE COMPANY I AM SPEAKING ABOUT NOW. We were out of our home for over a month and it turned into a nightmare. So when this happened we were ultra sensitive and had really high expectations of the company performing the work on our new home). We looked in the phone book and decided to call Northstar Cleaning & Restoration. A very kind and empathetic lady answered the phone. She told us she would would dispatch someone to my house immediately. That's exactly what they did. Very shortly thereafter Cannon Peterson was at our house and to our rescue. He opened up the ceiling to drain the water and allow it to begin drying. Within a matter of an hour they had our kitchen securely contained from the rest of the house and a high powered fan and and dehumidifier running. They dried it out thoroughly before beginning the work and they met with our insurance adjuster to assess the damage. They called the plumber and they were our immediately to figure out where the leak was coming from. We had a few unknowns going into this (like what electrical or plumbing issues would they run into when they got inside the walls and ceiling) but as things came up Shawn Millikin (one of the owner's of the company) handled them. They were honest about the length of time it would take to complete, they showed up when they said they would and they worked hard every moment they were at our house. Shawn helped with the job and when he wasn't there he stopped often to check on the workers and their progress on the job. We constantly had their employees asking us if the work was good and if we were satisfied . The texture on the walls, the color of the paint, etc. They broom swept and cleaned up their work area every day! We did get to go on vacation, too! I would trust this company in my home if I wasn't there. All of the workers are kind, respectful and honest! They wanted to make sure we were happy every step of the way! Shawn is incredible! He is so personable and a perfectionist. He takes pride in his workers, his own personal work and in his company. He's not happy until you are happy! Best experience EVER! They didn't just meet our expectations they FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! (And trust us we know the other way it can go with our prior experiences!!) I've had a flooded basement for two consecutive years requiring the installation of new drain tile. This resulted in water damage/mold issues. Also had all carpets and upholstery cleaned throughout the entire home. Jay, Cannon, and Shawn were all wonderful; they went above and beyond and their customer service was exceptional. They provided punctual, dependable, and reliable service. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and would highly recommend their services to my family and friends. Thanks Guys!

WOW, cannot say how wonderful and great they were. My tenant had moved out and DISTROYED her living area. The carpets were burnt, stained, molded, dog messes dried and mushed in, food ground in & left on the floor for months to years. They were beyond horrible and honestly figured when Jay came in to do the estimate he was going to tell me he could do nothing and I would have to replace them all. I had Jay's crew come in and clean them anyhow and I cannot say how wonderful of a job they did. I honestly could not tell you what color the carpet was in the kitchen before they cleaned, turns out after they cleaned it, I found out that there is a really nice patterned carpet under all the mess she left behind. Not a dog spot left and they were able to get out most everything she had ground into the floor--it was better then I expected. In the living room there was food left under the bed to rot and left behind stains, marks, smells & there were even burn marks. I thought it was a grey carpet until they cleaned it. Not only did they get most of the really bad stains out I found that it is actually a beautiful light blue carpet. With the amount of space they cleaned and the work they had to perform in order to complete the job, it took no time at all. I did expect them to be there for hours working on it but they were only there 1/2-1 hour. Very professional, extremely polite, they gave off the vibe of 'I love my career' and did more than a wonderful job. Jay was wonderful with the estimate, Yvonne his office personnel was extremely helpful and always nice & willing to help and the two cleaners that came in to do the work were the best. If you need it cleaned, they can do it. I would recommend them to EVERYONE and I WILL be having them back to do more work and on a regular basis also.

They cleaned about 1,000 sq. ft. which was 5 rooms total. They were awesome. Their customer service was incredible. Their knowledge was great. Being a business owner myself, I appreciate that. Good employees do not come easy. They even called to see how I liked it when they were done. There was nothing I didn't like.

They were there right on time and finished in a reasonable amount of time. They did great work. I'd recommend them to anyone.

two of our dogs had and incounter with a skunk late thursday night and brought the smell into the house. they ran all up and down the livingroom and hallway. friday afternoon we called our insurance company to see if there was anything they could do for us. the first company recomended was Service Masters. They promised to be to our home by 3pm. At 330pm they called to let us know that they couldnt come to our home because our insurance wouldnt pre-pay. our insurance company then called Northstar. The owner of Northstar callede us immediately and was to our home within 45 minutes to spray our house and leave a machine to clean our air. he returned and hour later with the cleaning van and proceeded to clean all of the appolstered funriture and carpeting. The job was done in 2 hours! The owner of the company and another staff did the labor. We were VERY impressed with the overall service and work. They were very personable, professional and caring. We appreciate very much that they came to our home on a friday night and made it possible for us to host a birthday party for our 8 year old!!! our rating..... A+++++++++ :)

I had scheduled the last appointment of the day so that I would have time to finish cleaning, filling in nail holes, etc. They arrived several hours early so that when I got there the carpets were already cleaned and wet. I had to go up and down a step stool with wet feet which was quite dangerous. I also prefer to not breath fumes from cleaning products, especially since I'm pregnant, but I didn't really have a choice. I'm sure the carpets were cleaned adequately, but it was a frustrating experience.

The two young men that performed the cleaning actually arrived early, did a good job and were both very congenial.

Both Northstar Cleaning and Unlimited Improvements did an amazing job. The repair to the sheetrock from the leak was so good you can't begin to identify where it was cut out. They are very professional, flexible and do high quality work. Pricing is fair and reasonable.

They first came a week prior and gave an estimate; once agreed on we set date and time. They came exactly when they said it did. They did an excellent job cleaning my whole house. Another important factor is when they were finished the carpet was practically dry.

Excellent service. He even gave my dog a dog treat.
