I decided to call this company after seeing the name in the coupon section. The technician arrived on time. He was pleasant and professional. Upon viewing the area of the leak, which was now dry, the technician felt that I didn't have a major problem. After examining, the chimney he explained that a very small opening had developed on one of the corners "where it wrapped around" and depending on the direction of the rain/wind the water would get in. The repair was done with a sealant. He also said the integrity of the flashing was good. The charge for the visit was TEN dollars. I was very satisfied with the overall visit and would not hesitate to use the company again.

The repair crew was always on time and extremely pleasant. The house was not impacted in anyway. All furniture was put back into place and care was taken not to cause any dust in the home. Was efficient and pleasant and informative. Would use this company again in the future for sure!

They arrived promptly, and the work was done quickly and professionally. The technicians were friendly. Everything was cleaned well after they were finished. They even did a few extra things that they didn’t charge.

I had them out last year to clean the woodstove and scheduled a followup this winter to look at the both the fireplace and stove. Due to the warm fall this year nothing needed to be done with the stove. On this visit he arrived as scheduled, fixed the damper, and swept the fireplace chimney. Nothing turned up in the inspection and as usual he left the house spotless.

Things went well. I called they were to us within 2 weeks. On time and honest. They did work at our old house and we have not been disappointed. It has been great having a working fireplace.

They were almost triple the cost of the lowest bidder. Very professional but very expensive.

We are very happy. The technicians were only in our home for about 45 minutes. We also had our dryer vent cleaned. Two technicians came out, one worked on the dryer vent and the other the chimney. They were very efficient.

I have been calling and talking with people for over a year to have my chimney repaired Jeff came out to my home in 2009 and gave me an estimate for the repair of my chimney. I wasn't here but my brother in law was and he told me how nice and personable Jeff was. The estimate only described rebuilding about 14 levels and a new cap and things of that sort. I wasn't able to have the work done that year but when 2010 came and I was finally getting to my projects I called Jeff back and asked if he would come out and give me an updated estimate. Jeff came again while no one was here and mailed me a new estimate. Since I was trying to find the best person for the job I called another chimney guy that a friend had used and he called me to make an appointment while I was here. He came into the house and looked up into the chimney and up on the roof to look down it. He then went through everything he found in detail and gave me an estimate. Still remembering how nice my brother in law told me Jeff was I called his office back and talked with his receptionist and asked if I could fax over the other estimate and see if Jeff has also found these repairs to be necessary and how much it would cost if I used him. I have talked to his office twice and have never received any response, I went with the other company which is costing me about 10K I think this is a big expensive job that anyone would be happy to get, Jeff I gave you plenty of chances.

We had a squirrel enter the house through the chimney, when we discovered the damper had fallen out of its track. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to fix it myself, I called Wisconsin Chimney Technicians, and he was able to come the same day and fix it in less than five minutes! Great service.

This company was recommended by me to a single woman living in Oconomowoc. She is always concerned about companies not treating single women equitably. She was very pleased with the work and professionalism. She said they friendly and informative.

I had discussed that we wanted to turn our fireplace back to a wood burning fireplace prior to Jeff's arrival so Jeff know what we had planned. We were also considering adding a gas log-lighter. Jeff came out with a log lighter that he had purchased to avoid a second trip. Our installation did not have the external shutoff required to accomodate the log lighter so we asked him to just remove the gas log assemble and cap the gas line. We decided that we did not want to rework the gas line at this time so we did not add the log-lighter assembly. The work turned out to be simple enough that it was covered by his inspection/trip charge. The work was done promptly and very clean. We are very happy with his work and the care he took to keep our carpet near the fireplace clean.

Came within time window, was knowledgeable and provided color pictures on-the-spot of an area of concern on the exerterior. Also provided estimate for repair.

Very well, I was afraid there was going to be dust and debris in the living room, but they did not leave a speck of anything behind. Excellent! UPDATE, THE FIREPLACE WALL PANEL THAT WAS IN MY FIREPLACE HAD BEEN THERE FOR 25 YEARS AND I USE MY FIRE PLACE A LOT, WEHN IT CRACKED AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS I CONTRACTED WITH WI CHIMNEY TECHNICIANS TO REPLACE THE WALL PANEL WHICH THEY DID. A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER WI CHIMNEY PUT IN THE NEW WALL PANEL IN IT CRACKED IN TWO SPOTS. I CALLED AND THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN OUT TO TO REPLACE THAT ONE BUT WHEN HE GOT TO MY HOUSE HE DISCOVERED THE WALL IN THE TRUCK WAS CRACKED SO HE HAD TO GO AND GET YET ANOTHER WALL PANEL. THEY PUT THAT ONE IN (WHICH WAS THE 3RD PANEL BY THIS TIME) AND THAT ONE CRACKED ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME WAY THAT THE 1ST REPLACEMENT PANEL HAD. I CALLED WI CHINMEY TECHNICIANS BACK AND ULTIMATELY THEY JUST SENT MY MONEY BACK, NO SOLUTION. SO I AM LEFT WITH A FIREPLACE THAT I AM AFRAID TO USE BECAUSE THE WALL IS CRACKED. I DO NOT THROW LOGS INTO THE FIREPLACE IN FACT I AM VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DO THAT SO THEY WILL NOT HIT THE WALL PANELS IN THE FIREPLACE. I NEVER TALKED TO JEFF, HE JUST HAD HIS OFFICE PERSON RELAY THE MESSAGE THAT THEY CALLED THE MFG OF THE WALL PANELS AND "NO ONE ELSE HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS HAPPENING". I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS FAULTY MANUFACTURING OR JUST A BAD BATCH OF WALL PANELS BUT TO JUST LEAVE ME WITH A CRACKED FIREPLACE WALL DOESN'T MAKE A LOT OF GOOD BUSINESS SENSE TO ME. I WILL HAVE TO CONTACT SOME OTHER COMPANY AND SEE IF THEY HAVE FIREPLACE WALL PANELS THAT WILL LAST FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE END.

everything was very quick. we were on a timeline since we were selling our home. work was complete 2 weeks after quoted and we noticed a difference right away so we knew it was working. no more damp at the base of the chimney. we will be keeping the company for work at the new house. Jeff really knows his stuff.

What a great company! I left a message Monday afternoon. Monday night Jeff called and left a message for me saying he'd call the next morning. He did! I was ready to pay for a fireplace cleaning but after talking with Jeff it sounded like that probably wouldn't fix our problem. I was so very impressed that Jeff basically talked himself out of the business and saved us money. I will definitely recommend this company to others and call them when I need fireplace repairs or cleaning. Thank you!

They told us that we couldn't replace the pipe. The work went fine. It was nice and smooth. They came out and did the work before Christmas. I don't know how much we spent on their service as my wife took care of the bill. I think the price was fine because my wife would have told me if it was high. The quality of work was good. They were right on time.

They worked out great. It took them a little while to get here because we had some scheduling snafus. Ultimately, they made it out and they completed the work I was looking for. They might have been a shade more expensive than I had hoped but the quality of the work was excellent. The feedback on the chimney, fireplace, and firebox was very helpful.

I did not need any repairs. I was told to have the chimmney check again in another 2 yrs.

We were in the process of selling our home and needed to get work done quickly. Jeff was able to get all the work done and give us the required lien waiver well before our closing date.
