I have been a customer for many years, service has been OK, not spectacular but affordable. I had a question on a bill, not sure the service was performed. I called and was basically told if I was billed it was performed. I mentioned I didn't get a bill on my door and then that I saw no evidence that the service was performed on my ring camera. That elicited an angry response about the fact that ring doorbells should be outlawed. I let it go, did some more looking thru my camera and even saw because UPS delivered on the day in question that it was raining so I'm even more sure the service was not performed. I called back and was treated even more poorly, and was hung up on. I still have zero evidence the service was performed, I called back and asked for my service to be a canceled and was told they don't need customers who don't pay their bills. So much for treating your long time customers like they matter and not like they are lying. I will certainly find someone else to do this work

I have a contract with them during the Winter and I get like a 10% discount so I sign up for six applications. I give them a "B" for price. I think they might be a little bit high.

Danny came and did the work, he was very thorough and did an excellent job. He cleaned up when he was finished. I very happy with the work.

DO NOT USE this provider for snow removal! Absolutely horrible. FIRST, they unilaterally raised the agreed-upon price with no warning?$35 per plowing became $45. SECOND, they just ran the plow up the driveway and then left--so I could come out to find as much as EIGHT FEET of unplowed snow right in front of my garage after a snowstorm, meaning I had to spend 15 minutes shoveling snow even after Aaron's had been there. THIRD, they would sometimes come more than once during the SAME SNOWFALL, for full price each time, meaning it could snow once and I'd be paying $90 for the horrible plowing job instead of just the usual excessive price. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with this service and I would STRONGLY urge Angie's members to look elsewhere for snow removal. I just used this service for snow removal and never had any other kind of service from them.

Last spring (April?) we hired Aaron's Lawn care to provide fertilizer, weed control and aeration to our lawn for the season. During one visit a worker ran over several outdoor lights in the ground lining our front walk way and broke them. During another visit by a worker, paperwork/information was mis-communicated between workers and they double applied chemicals to our lawn. The man in charge -Kurt-who we spoke to was less than sorry about our experiences and even left us- the customers- feeling as if what had been done was made up or our fault. When we were contacted by Aaron's lawn care about further use of their company for the this season, we were very clear in stating, NO! We are not going to continue with your services due to poor customer service! Our family is expecting very soon therefore we began our search for a NATURAL/ORGANIC non-chemical based lawn company in the MKE area a week or so ago. On the same day as our soil was to be tested by the company we choose, Aaron's stopped by and dropped chemicals on our lawn at 7AM! This not only majorly messed up our lawn care set up with our new NATURAL NON CHEMICAL COMPANY, but now we have exactly what we didn't want...chemicals on our lawn. My husband called this man in charge, Kent, abut this mix up at 7AM. Kent was quick to tell my husband that these things just don't happen and someone must have called to verify that we were renewing our services. I guess Kent doesn't remember the many phone calls that we placed last spring about how dis-satisfied we were with his company either, or he wouldn't of even tried to renew us! I called Kent again later today to inquire as to what he was going to be doing with this $35 bill a worker left in our door. I guess they can't do anything with the chemicals they left! :( He was quick to inform me and my husband about his personal dislike of natural/organic products and our choice to move to such a company. Since his worker performed a service,. they therefore left a bill, which he was not planning on dealing with by removing and sending us a zero balance paper work because his workers just don't make such mistakes, etc. We did not renew this service. We had informed them each time someone called us and we had also informed them during last spring when we were unhappy with their services also. I want a paper in the mail showing a zero balance owed to this company. An apology would also be a courteous and professional thing to do when a business makes a mistake also, but from our experiences this man and his company never make any of those! Kurt claims to have dates and times that someone called us, where we said we want to renew. We have remained steadfast that the only thing ever said to anyone who called was NO, NO, NO!! Based on customer service alone. Not only has this company been terrible to work with and DID NOT GET ANY TYPE OF AUTHORIZATION TO DO WHAT THEY DID, they really topped the cake here with APPLYNG CHEMICALS ON OUR LAWN RIGHT BEFORE A MAN FROM OUR NATURAL COMANY WAS ABOUT TO COME AND TAKE A SOIL SAMPLE AND THUS DELAY OUR BEGINNING OF OUR NEW COMPANY. And this man thinks that he and his company did no wrong. He couldn't of messed up in a bigger way if you ask me! Didn't get authorization, dumped chemicals on our lawn when we were trying to avoid them and now has exposed my family and unborn child to the chemicals. Could any person or company be more pompus!? They cannot undo what they did, so they should AT LEAST not be billing us for it!

It depends on what you scheduled them to do because they provide different services. They're pleasant, professional and helpful even if he's on the phone. I have been there when the person came to do something. I could show him the specific areas that needs treatment. For example, yesterday I showed him the approximate edge in like the ground's covered comes because it wasn't emerged yet. They're on their own because the schedule's tight.

Had my previous service for 20+ years with no problem until he retired & sold the business. This past year was the first year I used Aarons and I had more weeds than ever. When I called to inquire about fertilizing & weed control being done on a rainy day, which is usually not recommended, Kurtis was very sarcastic with his answer/tone. Because of his response to me, I never did feel comfortable calling to have it touched up when the weeds got bad. I did however catch one of the men when he came, and he was very nice & understanding, and put on extra weed control that day. Unfortunately I pre-paid for the season and so continued with them, but I will not use again this year. Update 7/21/14: I meant the whole season was for $200. The only reason I commented the following year was because I had just rejoined Angie's list, not because I had gotten the price increase for the next year. I had already signed with a new company for the next year, which by the way was significantly less expensive, I have been very happy with them. I felt I really needed to comment on Kurtis's unprofessional response when all I did was call him with a question. All he had to do was to tell me exactly what he said in this comment, but instead he was demeaning, sarcastic and unprofessional, as you can see by his last sentence. The reason I gave him a "C" for pricing, is because that is an AVERAGE grade, which is what his pricing is, average, it did not warrant that last comment. Please feel free to see my comments on other contractors I have used, and usually have nothing but praise for them, as their services were not only exceptional, but their professionalism was outstanding.

This is the third year I used them. I like that they give good service and reliable. I had one problem and they came out easily and did an extra application. They are very good.

The service was great, they would come out and put up signs in the yard to indicate it had been treated and put a bill in the door. Weeds were controlled and it seemed they did a nice job on the lawn applications. This year we prepaid in december to receive a 10% off discount. Happy with them and they are very helpful and reasonably priced for the 5 step applications, and gave us advice on how to seed initially for the dead spots. Happy to hire this local company.

I fired them after two seasons. First season was okay but the second season was crappy service. The drive was marked with poles and they still buried the truck in the culvert and had to get two trucks to pull it out. Ruined yard and drive. Do not come in timely manner to get to work in the morning.

I was mowing my lawn and my mower quit. I called Kurt because I have had him do other yard work as well as my yard fertilization and weed control. (See earlier review). Within 30 minutes, he had one of his team at my house to finish the job for me. His work is always good and his pricing is very fair. I would never hesitate to hire him again. In fact, I have hired him again to do my much this year. If you need a professional, affordable yard guy, he is the man.

We were away, so I do not know if the snow was 3" or deeper on all 4 occasions. However, the job was well done, aside from one driveway marker being taken out.

I have used Aarons Lawn care a few times over the years to trim my trees and shrubs (I have quite a few around my house). They always have done a good job. This year, I asked them to install my mulch (about 4 yards) and they did a good job on that as well. I called Kurt and in less than a week, he was at my house getting the job done. Their pricing is reasonable considering the amount of labor that is involved. This year, I contracted with them to do my lawn fertilization and weed control. So far, I have been satisfied with this service also.

I sign a one year contract with them and this is the second year I have used them. They come out six times yearly and their price is good for the service they provide. My lawn still has some bare spots in it so I don't give them an A for quality but I will use them again in the future.
