Clark Heating & Cooling

Clark Heating and Cooling was able to come to my house the same day that I called for a much lower service fee ($74) than other companies that I called. The Clark technician immediately knew what was wrong with my AC when he heard the unit and had the part replaced in under 20 minutes.

We didn't go with them--very over priced!

I had been unhappy with another firm in Madison that has worked on both our furnace and central air conditioner, so I contacted Clark, based on a recommendation from Dan of Jenko's garage doors, and checking on Angie's list, where Clark was highly rated. They sent a serviceman (I think it was Kevin) last Tuesday, who inspected our system, which had been installed in 1992, and determined it was leaking Freon. He indicated that repair was not a smart option on an old system and recommended a new air conditioner. Andy came came out on Thursday to give us an estimate. I asked if he could have it installed on Friday, as it was very hot and humid and we were having guests over for dinner. He said he could make it work. On Friday his crew (Jeff and his partner) spent about 5 hours removing the old unit and installing the new one. They were completely professional and thorough. By 5:00 the house was cooling down. I highly recommend Clark Heating and Cooling.

Very well. Diagnosis was made quickly and he had the necessary part on the truck so it was replaced immediately. He cleaned the unit and checked the furnace filters too.

Excellent - They did what was requested in less time then expected and they did it above our expectations.

Service was great. I called in the morning and they were able to have someone come out right away that morning. Kevin was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave me some advice for future maintenance. The air conditioner has been working great since he did the work.

My AC stopped working over the weekend during the hottest weekend we have had. I called them & they came out on Monday morning & repaired the unit. Their professionalism was great, so courteous. I know that I will call them if I need AC or Heating repair.

Keith, Jake, Jeff, and Kevin were top notch from start to finish. They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do, and any complications along the way of installation were addressed immediately. I trust them and I would highly recommend them.

Our 1983 furnace went out unexpectedly. Clark Heating quickly responded, educated and thoughtfully guided us on our choices, and put in the new equipment the day after we made the choices. They went above and beyond what was expected in repairing, replacing, and retrofitting in our somewhat complicated 1941 house and returned in a timely fashion to tweak the system. And when they saw I wanted to scrub the floor under the old furnace before the new one was installed, they even took it upon themselves to thoroughly scrub the area outside where the new air conditioner was installed without me asking. Truly a pleasure to work with!

EXCELLENT. Needed this done ASAP with cold weather (and while we were out of town). Keith was super responsive - I trusted him with this install and defining the right equipment for us. VERY knowledgeable!! Team did GREAT work. Were super responsive to the one small complaint I had (didn't fill small hole in outside wall where AC piping went in, bummer for mice entry....). They offered to fix right away, but I had already. So far, very happy with American furnace that was installed!! Easy master controller to operate. Keith came over and reviewed equipment, install and operation as well as optimization points with us. VERY useful!!!!

Service was done well. Also, cleaned the condenser line and the sensor.

I was hoping that they would be a bit more analytical about assessing whether my A/C was working correctly, maybe measure temperature difference, air flow, etc. instead the guy sort of walked around and told me he thought everything was fine. suggested that I manipulate returns to get the right balance? a little advice on that, or maybe some actual effort would have been good too. this was $100+ I could have saved.

I called around to get a few more quotes. Seasonal Surrival came right away and ironically they were able to replace my fan motor immediately for a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire unit! They saved me thousands!

Annual maintenance charge ($100) and repair ($150) seemed reasonable. Scheduling was efficient. Technicians explained in detail how everything worked and provided advice on how to maintain. Very professional.

They did a fantastic job with the installation, and even installed a WiFi-based thermostat that increased the efficiency of the fan and dehumidification capabilities of the new system. We did call around to get quotes/bids and pretty much all the shops in town wanted to charge about the same so we feel the price was very reasonable.

Keith and his staff at Clark were easy to work with and they did a great job. I will hire them again.
