Description of Work: They cleaned the gout and resealed. Took about 3 hours. The gout/floor was at least 50 percent cleaner. They had truck problem and did not arrive at 9:30am. I didn't heard from them until around 11am, after I called twice and left messages.

Description of Work: Provider was prompt and courteous. Two employees worked for about 80 minutes to clean the grout in the kitchen floor. I rated the job as a C because the grout didn't come as clean as I expected...still quite dark in areas. Previous reviews I read seemed to indicate the grout went back to close to the original color after cleaning.

Description of Work: They came in to steam clean all of the carpets in our house. Our carpets were left looking worse than when they got here and they weren't soft but almost crunchy. We called to complain and the owner was extremely defensive and not at all apologetic. My husband and I believe they used dirty water to clean our carpets. We ended up having to have them all redone and you would not believe the dirt that came out of them the second time around. We are a household that has its carpets cleaned yearly and we take our shoes off in the house. There is no way the second company could have gotten the dirt out of our carpets had A-1 done a quality job the first time. We are convinced they used dirty water and put gross water into our carpets instead of taking dirt out. I would never use or recommend this company.

Description of Work: When I called the service provider, he answered the phone while he was driving. He told me a date he thought might be available. Then he asked me to call back and he would let it go to voice mail and I should leave all my contact information. He didn't seem to know which Angie's list coupon I was referring to. I also asked about getting my carpet cleaned at the same time, and his response was we could talk about it when they came. I did as he asked and called back, leaving a detailed voice mail. I also included that the date he gave me wouldn't work and offered some alternative dates. I have never received a return phone call from him. There are plenty of other companies that do want my business. I also didn't like his response to my question about cleaning my carpet and planned on quizzing him more about that when he called back.

Description of Work: This is a follow-on to previous review in whic I was displeased with the cleaning of stairs and basement room. Company called after the review and offered to redo the job. I declined because of the busy holiday season. The owner later that day came to my house and offered to redo the job. When I said no to the redo, he refunded the $95. I was impressed! He was professional in how he handled the complaint and I considered he customer concern to be geniune. I would consider using him again.
